One Piece: Gold And Fire

Chapter 5: Chapter 5 : Break Free And Break Them

*Grum... Grumm...

"Sigh..."

The sound kept on coming from my angry stomach but I had no way to tend to him, let alone food, since I came aboard the ship those bastards haven't even given me water.

They lock me in this dark cellar, under the ship, doing god knows what.

I so much wanted to just kick that bloody lookout who call me a boy in the ball, bro code me damn, but I held myself back.

Though I could have handled that skinny dude back then, but I wasn't in any condition to fight the entire crew. Without knowing how many pirates are there in this ship, what are there bounty, their strength, acting would be stupid.

So I buy my time, though this place was less than ideal for comfort with a cold surface and many mosquitos, it was enough to rest and gain my strength back.

I am hungry and wasted too much energy fighting with that storm yesterday. Before anything I need to recover to the point that I can plan about breaking out of here...

"Pirates..."

I can't help but mutter to myself, I come to hate this word more and more in the past years, they took everything from me.

However, when I really met a Pirate, I found that they weren't much like the ones who I saw back then...

I don't know whether they were pirates in the first place. What kind of Pirate only burns but doesn't loot? These questions have bothered me for so long that I took the decision to go out and find those damn white-masked clowns and ask them before I torture them until they start begging for death.

"Sigh... don't think about that, now you have bigger problems to worry about..." I said to myself to distract my exceedingly dark-turning thoughts. *Tang...Tang...

That was when I heard footsteps. Someone was coming towards me, I didn't do anything, just kept on sitting on the floor inside the cellar-turned cage for the man to come.

"Oi, are you done? Don't die too quick, I ain't in the mood to clean after your body." came the voice of the man who just came.

I knew this man, he's the lookout. But I didn't reply to anything. I kept on sitting there, my face still down like I wasn't conscious.

"Hey, are you alive ?" The man asked seeing me not responding. The man's voice sounded irritating seeing how he didn't want to do this.

I could only hear him yawning in the middle of the sentence as he was talking, making me believe that he was tired and sleepy. I was no different, passing out didn't count as actual sleep after all.

"What do you want from me ?" I asked, though I innitially didn't wanted to talk with him, but ultimately had to engage to get some info.

"Phew, still breathing. Save...as for why you are here, isn't that simple, this is a pirate ship and you are our captive, what more do you need to know ?" Said the man.

To that, I really don't have any reply, though that didn't explain why they need me exactly, but seeing the moral bottom line of pirates, even if I don't have any valuables on me, they can still use me.

Making me work here for free, 'Aka' turning me into a slave, to selling me to someone else. There are many ways they can use me.

After that I just shut up, there was no point asking anything more.

Seeing me silent, the lookout didn't continue the talk either and with a key he opened the door door of the cellar, coming in.

By now I wasn't even looking at him, but upon seeing he was coming in, I slightly raised my eyes to look at him, only to see that he brought food.

"Eat up, you'll be needing it if you wanna survive tomorrow." said the lookout, clearing it up that the people here were planning to turn me into a chore boy.

He plopped the plate down, which held dry bread and water, that was it for food and turned around. Ready to get out of the cellar.

However, just as he turned around, he felt pressure behind him. It was instincts.

A shiver ran up his spine to the point he hurridly wanted to look back or get out of the cellar but it was too late.

A hand grabbed onto his collar and pulled him back while another went to cover his mouth to silence him.

I grab the man and toss him onto the ground effortlessly. To make sure he won't make any noise, I put the bread in his mouth.

Grabbing his hand, I effortlessly turn it into an unnatural angle, dislocating his shoulder while still keeping a hold of himself like some Pro Wrestling.

Lookout's eyes were wide as saucers, pain rang through his body as he was struggling to break free but quickly realized that he wasn't strong enough to even budge me.

"Let me guess, wondering how I get out of the binding.." I asked with a little smile coming to my face.

At this he calmed down a bit, that was exactly what he was thinking.

"Well, if you are expecting some detailed plan then you are for disappointment. I just tore it open.

Next time you bind someone, first make sure you know their strength. One layer of tattered moss rope. I used to snap those when I was 11," I reply with a roll of my eyes.

The man's eyes slightly bulge, looking at me like I was some sort of monster.

"Now, enough about me. Golden Hook Pirates, never heard of this pirate group, tell me everything you know.

And make sure, after I remove the bread if you dare to make too much noise, though you might alert others but you will certainly die.

I will snap your neck if you do something like that with my bare hands, I believe you now know I'm capable of doing so, right !" I said while slightly increasing the my grip on his neck.

Mr Lookout started nodding his head like chicken pecking rice. Gotta say this man has a good eye for situations...

The talk didn't lasted for long, barely 3 minutes and Mr Lookout sold out his comrades, I personally believe he got a good deal seeing he is still breathing.

I can't say the same will be the case for the rest of his crew. Slowly getting out of the Cellar, I looked at the bread which had teeth marks and saliva on it.

Rubbing it on my tattered and slightly dirty top, I cleaned it out, and took out a big bite.

Though it was disgusting but if you gonna survive in this sea, disgusting is the exact thing you need.

There were a total of 5 people on the ship beside Mr Lookout. One of the man will be that big man who I saw earlier, and hearing their talk, he wasn't the captain.

"Time to give them a visit then…"

—-

As went up, I saw those bastards were having a party right now. I didn't see the man I saw earlier, but beside him there were four people.

Eating, Drinking and cursing. The four men looked like they were almost drunken. It's just make easier for me to take them down.

Three man among them looked ordinary enough, but the man who was laughing the most and had a Golden Hook in his hand, most likely the captain if the name of the pirate crew is any indication, is strong.

"Six years, that how long I have worked hard to get stronger. It's time to see where I stand in this sea…" I steeled my resolve and after analysing the people in front of me, I plan what I'm gonna do.

Looking around I quickly found anything which I could use to increase my range of attack.

The only thing I could find was a broom on the side, that was enough at least take down one as soon as possible.

As I was just about to attack, suddenly I thought about using a trick which a lot of games back then featured.

So I saw a barrel on the side and kicked it before immediately hiding behind the wall.

"Hey, what was that sound? IO, what is that brat doing? Isn't he back yet ?" The captain shouted.

" Ah no, maybe he fell asleep. Both him and Toll were causing ruckus about the lack of sleep earlier."

"Useless, go and see what's going on ?" Shouted the golden hook.

"Yes Boss…" said one of the underlings as he wobbly stood up and and made my way towards the fallen barrel.

As the man came, I couldn't help but smirked.

"If only I had a hidden blade now…" I can't help but smile thinking about all the assassins' creed games I have played.

As the man came, instead of using a newly obtained broom, I just lunged at him and quickly covered his mouth.

Inserting force, a click sound was heard and the man's neck broke like it was made out of glass.

Though I had zero training and unknown talent in the art of silent killing but as long as we put enough force into something, everything becomes possible.

"Three to go…"
