One Piece: Copy Talents Starting from Elbaf

Chapter 23: Chapter 24: Linlin with a 50 Million Belly Bounty!

On the island's shore, a specially crafted giant ship was docked. This enormous pirate ship could carry several Elbaf giant warriors.

A few giants stood on the ship, and above them, the Jolly Roger pirate flag fluttered in the wind.

On the shore, Roy stood, waving his final goodbyes to the children of the Lamb House, preparing to leave.

The children of the Lamb House were now able to take care of themselves, and with the provision of supplies from the village's giants, there was no need for him to worry anymore.

With Helding giving him a "finally free" expression as he saw him off, Roy boarded the pirate ship, ready to set sail.

"Goodbye, wait for me to come back~!" Roy waved.

"Just leave already~ Seriously, wanting to roam the seas at such a young age, I don't get what he's thinking~" Helding tilted his head and muttered, teasing Roy.

"Who told you he's stronger than you? Hahaha!" Gaelz couldn't help but laugh, causing Helding to look embarrassed.

"We're setting sail~!" The giant crew member pulled the anchor from the sea and set the sails.

The giant ship pulled away from the shore, heading off toward the distant horizon, until it disappeared from view.

At the bow of the ship, Roy sat on the large sculpture, enjoying the sea breeze as it tousled his red hair, gazing at the endless ocean before him, holding his sword, his heart full of anticipation.

It had only been about eight hundred years since his arrival in this world.

The elderly man who adopted Roy had once told him his homeland was in the West Sea.

The old man had been a traveler, visiting all kinds of lands and seas, adventuring around the world.

But it was only when he was old that he encountered Roy in the New World.

Roy had also spun a story for Reding, telling him his homeland was in the West Sea and that he wanted to go back and take a look.

"Oh? So Little Roy's hometown is in the West Sea? But he was taken to the New World right after birth and then abandoned?" A giant sailor looked at Roy, listening to his fabricated story. "That's quite pitiful."

"What are your plans for the future, Roy? Are you going to find a nice West Sea girl and settle down, or will you set off from the West Sea and become a famous pirate, or just aim to be the world's strongest swordsman?" the giant sailor curiously asked.

They often liked to talk about the former Giant Pirate Crew, and now that such a talented human child had joined their Elbaf family, they loved to speculate on Roy's future.

Roy's talent card was from Big Mom, and even his defensive capabilities were ridiculously strong.

So, the giants continued to exaggerate his abilities, to the point that it made Roy a little embarrassed.

Roy sat in his "special seat," gnawing on a large piece of meat as he pondered for a moment.

"If I aim for the title of the strongest, Helding and the others are definitely going to feel hopeless."

"Ha~"

The giants burst into laughter, and all kinds of strange laughter echoed across the sky and sea.

"Ah~ I can't stop laughing, but it does seem true."

One giant crew member laughed so hard that his shaking body made the ship tremble.

"Ugh~ I can't stop laughing~ Helding must be in so much pain hearing this." Another giant sailor slapped his companion's shoulder, laughing uncontrollably.

"Ha~" Reding struggled to hold back his laughter before he finally burst out laughing. "Who would have thought, I taught Helding, hoping he'd repeat the glory of the former Giant Pirate Crew, but the best disciple turned out to be..."

"The human child I least expected~"

"My favorite Helding got beaten up by everyone, hahaha!"

Reding laughed heartily, and Roy helplessly looked at him. Is it really okay for Reding to mock his own disciple like this?

No one seemed to care about what Roy's future goals were anymore.

At this moment, even though Helding wasn't on the ship, he was still contributing to the humor, entertaining everyone.

"My goal is to build a happy home with those beautiful ladies~" Roy silently added to himself.

However, that wasn't quite accurate. He should say, he's actually here to save those poor beautiful ladies~!

See, now that's a real "King of the Sea"~!

Under the azure sky with fluffy clouds drifting by, Roy looked up at the seagulls flying above and watched them for a long time.

Wait, what is he even expecting!?

Roy suddenly froze, realizing that during this time, Morgans hadn't even been born yet.

The World Economic News hadn't been established, so the idea of using seagulls to deliver newspapers hadn't even occurred to anyone.

Without Morgans, even reading the news was a hassle.

Sigh.

Several days later.

In the New World, on an island where pirates gathered.

Reding's ship docked on the shore, with one giant staying behind to guard the ship.

The other giants went to the town to trade and buy supplies.

It's worth noting that, despite the nun being a human trafficker and a con artist, she had still done some good things.

At her suggestion, the Elbaf warriors had started learning how to trade for goods with money.

They would also take on mercenary jobs to earn mercenary fees, rather than raiding as they did in the past.

Roy followed Reding as they walked through the chaotic little town.

He actually wanted to come alone, but Reding was worried he'd get tricked.

So Reding came along.

Sigh.

Roy thought he was smart enough not to get tricked!

But Reding said, "I don't want you to think, I want to think~"

After getting close to the giants, their relationship had become quite warm.

Reding and the others had even started to consider Roy as part of Elbaf.

Roy glanced up at the towering Reding, then at the pirates and bounty hunters walking around them, avoiding their gaze.

But with all the protection, what kind of training is this?

Roy held a newspaper he had bought from the town in his hands, along with a few bounty posters.

"Linlin has become a pirate now." Roy looked at a bounty poster.

On it was a cute picture of Charlotte Linlin smiling, with a number "5" followed by a long string of zeros: 50 million Belly!

It seemed that after Roy had stirred up trouble, Big Mom didn't kill the Longbread (Big Bread) character.

They had still chased off the child-stealing Navy, set sail as pirates, and formed their own pirate crew.

"..." Reding glanced at the poster but didn't discuss anything related to Charlotte Linlin.

It wasn't because he didn't care for the small bounty; it was because they all hated the girl now.

"I heard this girl, Charlotte Linlin, has started looting islands all over the New World. She's really a terrifying pirate!"

"Yeah, she's so bad, so young, she deserves to die."

"Keep it down. I heard she's still really terrifying."

Around them, people discussed Linlin's exploits.

Roy didn't respond. He just continued to walk with Reding, sightseeing.

A person's decisions are their own choice.

But at the same time, they must bear the consequences of those choices.

If she's decided to be a pirate, she needs to have the resolve that comes with it.

"We should go."

Not long after, Roy said, bored.

Having a giant along really reduced the fun of exploring~

As for safety?

Haha, who knows, is it the giant protecting the human, or the human protecting the giant?
