Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

After hearing Reiki's words, Naruto and Sasuke instinctively began to survey their surroundings.

However, after observing closely, they noticed that this place seemed different from the Sage Land they remembered.

In the Sage Land they knew, there was a massive World Tree. Yet, while there was an aura similar to the World Tree here, its manifestation was merely a small sapling.

Moreover, during the recent battle, they hadn't seen Reiki utilize the power of the dragon.

As for Chidori and the others, they seemed different from what Naruto and Sasuke had learned...

"Is this really the place where we inherit the Sage Land?"

"But the master of the Sage Land here..."

"Could it be that...?"

Thinking of this, Naruto subconsciously looked at Buxie, who was lying on the ground not far away.

After being summoned by Reiki earlier, Buxie hadn't participated in the battle. He had simply lain down and fallen asleep.

Even though Buxie had been given Reiki's Dragon Essence Potion, his core still required significant rest to recover his original strength. As a result, when there were no combat missions, Buxie would usually choose to sleep after consuming the potion to maximize its effectiveness.

"Buxie Sage..."

"Teacher, was that the Sage Buxie just now?" Naruto asked excitedly.

Naruto had only ever seen a massive head before and had never gotten a full view of Sage Buxie's body. To see him so up close now was astonishing.

"Buxie Sage?"

"From now on, the Sage of this Sage Land will be Master Buxie?"

"What about me?" Reiki pointed at himself with a puzzled expression.

"Teacher, you... don't really care about the affairs of the Sage Land. You're always in the village, looking for people to treat you. That's your daily routine. Oh, and you're with three mistresses, too," Naruto said bluntly after thinking for a moment.

"What!?"

"Three mistresses?" Reiki was stunned.

With Yuhi Kurenai and Shizune alone, Reiki already felt overwhelmed. Where had a third mistress come from?

"Yes, teacher, you're such a scumbag..." Sasuke added with disdain.

Reiki sighed, feeling thoroughly rejected by his disciples.

"Alright, let's not dwell on that. Are you two ready to return? Don't stay in this timeline for too long," Reiki said, changing the topic.

He had no interest in knowing about the future, especially anything concerning the third mistress. Knowing too much now might complicate things later.

"We're ready to go back," Naruto replied. "Otsutsuki Momoshiki, Otsutsuki Kinshiki, and Otsutsuki Urashiki have all been sealed. Next, there should be new assignments waiting for us there."

Both Naruto and Sasuke were now key members of the combat team, each holding the rank of squad leader. To even qualify for the combat team, one needed to be at least Kage level. As squad leaders, they were nearly at Six Paths level, capable of facing Otsutsuki-level threats individually.

"Alright." Reiki nodded and raised his hand, leading them out of the space.

Once outside, Sasuke retrieved Rei from his backpack.

"Keep working hard. Otherwise, you'll be left behind when we begin our journey to the stars," Reiki said with a smile.

Truthfully, he was quite satisfied with Naruto and Sasuke's progress. In the original timeline, they had only reached their current power levels in middle age, and even then, it required the assistance of Otsutsuki Hagoromo. Now, they had achieved this strength purely through their own efforts.

"Teacher, we'll head back now," Naruto said, activating Rei.

As the power of time enveloped them, Naruto, Sasuke, and Rei disappeared.

Konoha, 18 Years Later

"You're back?"

When Naruto and Sasuke reappeared, a familiar voice greeted them.

Turning around, they saw their teacher.

"Teacher," the two greeted, bowing politely.

In the past, they had been more curious about Reiki, but now, they regarded him with awe.

"Mission accomplished? Head to the Sage Land to continue your training. Take this to Wangyue while you're at it," Reiki said, handing Sasuke a box.

"Dad, I want to train with Brother Sasuke and Brother Naruto too!"

A little boy peeked out from behind Reiki, his voice full of innocence. Despite being only five years old, the boy exuded a powerful aura.

"Luo Yu, be good. You won't go for now. Your sister is waiting for us at home, and Dad's making a big dinner tonight," Reiki said affectionately, ruffling the boy's hair.

"Teacher, we'll head out now," Naruto said, taking the box. With a quick hand seal, he and Sasuke disappeared.

"It seems those two were beaten badly by me. They can't wait to run when they see me," Reiki chuckled, picking up Luo Yu and heading home.

Now, Reiki had his own place within the Senju Clan compound. As a direct disciple of Tsunade, she had no objections to this arrangement.

Back at Home

Once home, Reiki began preparing the food while Luo Yu ran off to play with his sister, Luo Lin.

"Not heading out today, Brother Reiki?" a gentle voice asked as he placed the ingredients on the counter.

"No. After the last expedition, there's no new information. Both Master Buxie and Master Tianying are in recovery. I'll be home for at least a month," Reiki replied softly, holding the woman's hand.

"Alright. Oh, and make something special for Sister Terumi Mei later. She hasn't had much of an appetite lately," Shizune said with a nod.

"Got it. Now go on. I'll handle the cooking, and later, we'll visit the teacher together," Reiki said, ushering Shizune out of the kitchen before diving into his preparations.
