Naruto: You Call This A Medical Ninja?

In a dark chamber, Keji, the leader of the first station of the Evil God Cult, stared at two shattered jade tokens with a grave expression. The complete rupture of these tokens symbolized something unheard of in his time as leader—an utter severance of the Evil God's mark from its hosts.

This had never happened before.

The jade tokens represented the Evil God's control over its followers. For such a thing to occur, the implications were profound and terrifying. Who could possibly achieve such a feat?

"Chief, the investigation is complete," a shadowy figure reported, emerging from the darkness. "The seventh station… was completely annihilated by one man."

"One man?!" Keji exclaimed, his shock palpable.

"Yes. The culprit is a medical ninja from Konoha—Reiki," the figure continued.

"A medical ninja?" Keji froze. Though his contact with the outside ninja world had been limited, he still retained some knowledge. Medical ninjas typically focused on healing and support, not combat. Even those with exceptional skills—such as Tsunade of the Senju clan—wouldn't have the sheer destructive capacity to obliterate one of their stations.

"This medical ninja is no ordinary practitioner," the shadow explained. "He is a disciple of Tsunade, Konoha's renowned Medical Sage. After destroying the seventh station, he headed straight to the second station."

Keji's face darkened. The shattered jade token of the second station's leader left little doubt: Reiki had struck again.

"Chief, here is the compiled information on Reiki," the shadow said, handing Keji a scroll.

Keji's face grew increasingly grim as he read. The absurdity of the report left him seething.

"A medical ninja who not only excels in healing but also wields combat power strong enough to wipe out two of our stations? What kind of monster is this?" he muttered under his breath.

What troubled Keji even more was the note about Reiki's experience in the Konoha Interrogation Department. This likely meant their other locations were now exposed. If Konoha received intelligence about the Evil God Cult's activities, it wouldn't be long before the entire ninja world came after them.

Relocation seemed the only logical solution. But relocating an established station was no simple matter. It took years to set up these outposts, and the ninja world remained highly vigilant about the emergence of new forces.

Killing Reiki was the only viable option.

But who could be sent to accomplish such a task? With the strength to destroy two stations, even Keji himself, leading a team, wasn't confident of success.

"Chief, we've pinpointed Reiki's current location," the shadow said. "He remains in the Land of Hot Springs with no signs of leaving. Shall we maintain surveillance?"

"Yes, keep an eye on him," Keji ordered. "If he moves toward another station, notify me immediately. We'll prepare to intercept him."

The shadow nodded and vanished.

As silence returned, Keji activated a hidden mechanism. A passageway opened in the wall behind him. He stepped through the corridor, eventually entering a massive chamber.

Inside, giant chains etched with cursed seals extended toward a dark, central void. The air was thick with malevolence.

"Lord Evil God," Keji whispered, his voice trembling with reverence. "I need strength!"

With a crazed grin, Keji drew a dagger and plunged it into his own heart. Blood pooled beneath him, seeping into the cursed seals and feeding the chains.

From the void came an unearthly roar, resonating with rage, resentment, and despair. The chains shuddered violently as dark energy swirled around the chamber.

Meanwhile, back with Reiki, the mood was far more relaxed. Okamoto Hikawa and the remaining members of the second station had yielded completely.

It wasn't much of a choice, really. Those who resisted were swiftly overpowered by Reiki. After a few more humiliating defeats, even the most stubborn among them conceded.

Fighting back was pointless. Reiki not only defeated them with ease but also had the power to strip away their cursed energy. Without their abilities, they would be nothing.

"Is it over?" Chodori asked, her tone light as she leaned back in the hot spring.

"Yeah, it's done," Reiki replied. "Once Konoha's people arrive to take them away, I'll be ready to leave. Until then, I'll set up shop outside."

"Are you heading back to Konoha?" he added, glancing at her.

"No," Chodori replied with a shake of her head. "This time, I'm taking you with me. The Sage wants to meet you."

"The Sage?" Reiki raised an eyebrow. "Alright. Once my work here is done, I'll go with you."

Chodori gave a satisfied nod and sank deeper into the steaming water. Nearby, An Ye begrudgingly stoked the fire to keep the water at Chodori's preferred temperature.

While Ogura Eiko and the others packed their belongings from the station, Reiki finalized their plans. The resources left behind would aid their reintegration and training under Konoha's supervision. Reiki even drafted a tailored regimen for them: rebuilding their foundations with potions before helping them improve through systematic training. They would eventually repay their debts through service.

Satisfied with his preparations, Reiki headed to a bustling street. There, he set up a stall with a simple sign:

"100 yen to treat any injury or illness."

As curious passersby approached, Reiki settled into his routine, tending to the injured with practiced ease. The Evil God Cult and the upcoming meeting with the Sage could wait—at least for now.
