Naruto: Swarm System

Chapter 401: Chapter 401: The Goal of Immortality

Outside Sunagakure.

Temari held Shishou's hand tightly, looking at him with reluctance.

Shishou also looked at Temari, smiling gently.

After a moment of silence, Temari spoke, "I'll come to Konoha to find you in a while."

Shishou squeezed her hand playfully, "You'd better hurry, my memory isn't that good."

Hearing this, Temari glared at him and said angrily, "If you dare forget me, I'll storm Konoha myself."

Shishou pulled Temari into his arms and laughed, "Just kidding. You'll never escape my grasp in this lifetime."

With that, Shishou cupped Temari's face and kissed her.

Pop!

He only let go when Temari was nearly out of breath, their lips separating with a sound like a cork being pulled from a bottle.

The sound made Temari even more embarrassed, her cheeks flushing brightly.

After the kiss, Shishou whispered in Temari's ear, "Future wife, don't forget to come find me."

Hearing Shishou's words, the blush on Temari's cheeks spread to her ears, making her incredibly shy.

She managed to stammer, "I-I will..."

Shishou grinned and kissed her burning cheek.

"I'm off."

With those words, Shishou turned into a black blur, swiftly heading towards Konoha.

"Goodbye, Shishou."

Temari whispered, watching him until he disappeared before covering her burning face and returning to Sunagakure.

After leaving the vicinity of Sunagakure, Shishou resumed his identity as the Flying Thunder God user and returned to Pakura's courtyard.

"Shishou, are you ready?"

Seeing Shishou appear, Pakura immediately came to his side and led him to a small room.

Inside, Gaara was lying on a bed, deeply asleep.

Shishou walked to the bedside, placed his hand on Gaara's stomach, and entered Gaara's sealed space.

Inside Gaara's inner space.

"Yo, Shukaku, long time no see."

Shishou kicked the sleeping Shukaku.

Shukaku, startled, looked at Shishou warily, "What are you here for?"

Every time Shishou came, he would give Shukaku a hard time, making him very fearful.

Shishou spread his hands, "I'm here to borrow some chakra and ask about Magnet Release training."

Apart from wanting to borrow some of Shukaku's chakra to further awaken the tailed beast bloodline, Shishou also wanted to ask about Magnet Release training.

By continuing to absorb and return Shukaku's chakra, he could awaken the One-Tail's bloodline and naturally master Magnet Release.

So, the Magnet Release training method was actually something he was asking for Pakura.

Pakura had become Gaara's teacher, but she had the Scorch Release bloodline limit while Gaara had Magnet Release.

The two different bloodline limits made Pakura unsure how to teach Gaara, especially with both the Third and Fourth Kazekage dead.

Pakura decided to ask Shishou to get some Magnet Release training methods from Shukaku to guide Gaara.

After all, the Third Kazekage had learned Magnet Release from Shukaku.

Hearing Shishou's request, Shukaku visibly relaxed. As long as Shishou wasn't here to torment him, everything was fine.

Shukaku quickly agreed, "I'll teach Gaara the Magnet Release methods later, and he can pass them on to Pakura. Now, leave me alone."

Shukaku didn't want to see the person who had kicked him around like a ball even for a minute longer.

Seeing Shukaku's fear, Shishou chuckled and left the inner space.

Back in reality, Gaara's body was enveloped in tailed beast chakra. Shishou immediately had his Destruction Bugs absorb it and then return it to himself.

He noticed a slight increase in his chakra levels and realized it wouldn't be long before he acquired the One-Tail's bloodline.

Understanding his body's changes, Shishou's goal became clear.

To become an immortal like Kaguya, he needed to gather the bloodline powers of the Sage of Six Paths and awaken the bloodlines of all tailed beasts, merging them into the power of the Divine Tree with his vast chakra reserves.

If this didn't make him an immortal like the Otsutsuki, he'd have to find another way or consider reviving the Ten-Tails without endangering Yugito.

His goal of immortality would never change.

Unfortunately, the Four-Tails and Five-Tails were with Nagato, so Shishou needed to find a way to seize them.

He also needed to start searching for the Seven-Tails.

Thinking about this, Shishou turned to Pakura and said, "Shukaku will teach Gaara the Magnet Release methods, so you can get them from him later."

Pakura nodded, "Got it."

Shishou then took Pakura's hand, "Let's go shopping in the capital of the Land of Wind."

With that, Shishou took Pakura and disappeared, heading to the capital.

The two of them wandered around like an ordinary couple, shopping, eating, and enjoying the simple happiness of normal life.

After spending two days together, Shishou brought Pakura back to Sunagakure and then used the Flying Thunder God technique to return to Konoha as Shishou of the Aburame clan.

"Knock, knock, knock!"

As soon as Shishou arrived home, he heard someone knocking on the door.

Opening it, he found Kiba Inuzuka standing there.

"Oh, Shishou, you're back?"

Kiba was surprised and then overjoyed to see him.

Shishou frowned slightly, wondering why Kiba was here if he didn't know Shishou had returned.

Noticing Shishou's confusion, Kiba explained, "After you saved my sister, she's been wanting to thank you properly. When she heard you were promoted to Chunin, she sent me to check if you were back every day to celebrate your promotion."

"Since you're back, come with me. I'm tired of running here every day."

With that, Kiba started dragging Shishou to his house.

Shishou stopped and said, "I just got back. Let me change my clothes."

Kiba sniffed Shishou and said, "You do smell strongly of women. Go change. I'll get Sakura."

With that, Kiba ran off, leaving Shishou to change.
