The door to the Hokage's office was kicked open with a loud bang. Shimura Danzō stormed in, his face filled with urgency.

"Hiruzen! This is bad!"

Sarutobi Hiruzen's expression darkened, his voice brimming with anger.

"Danzō, have I been too lenient with you? How dare you kick down my door and barge in like this?"

Danzō ignored the reprimand, his tone sharp and grave. "Our experimental facility has been attacked—by Uchiha Mirai!"

"What?!" Hiruzen shot to his feet, disbelief etched across his face. "Why would he attack the facility? What's he trying to accomplish?"

Danzō shook his head. "I'm not sure, but that wretched brat must have his reasons."

"Hiruzen, there's something very important in that facility. It must not be exposed!"

Hiruzen slammed his hand on the desk, his fury boiling over.

"How many times have I told you not to pursue these dangerous experiments? If you had to do it, why couldn't you ensure better secrecy?"

Danzō's lips twitched, his frustration showing. "That facility was hidden well enough. I have no idea how Uchiha Mirai discovered it."

"Now is not the time to assign blame, Hiruzen. The priority is figuring out how to handle this situation."

Hearing this, Hiruzen forced himself to calm down. He lit his pipe and took a few slow puffs, then inhaled deeply, his eyes narrowing with resolve.

"We can't sit idly by any longer. Mirai must be dealt with."

"Danzō, stay out of sight for now. I'll take care of this myself."

Hiruzen donned his armor as he issued orders.

"Send word to Koharu and Homura, and notify clan leaders like Nara Shikaku and Yamanaka Inoichi. Have them bring reinforcements."

"Also, gather all available ANBU—immediately."

"And inform Namikaze Minato."

"Yes, sir!"

"Third-sama, why summon so many shinobi? Has something serious happened?"

"Uchiha Mirai attacked one of Root's facilities. I must eliminate him before this escalates."

"What?!" Namikaze Minato's face showed shock as he quickened his pace to keep up with Hiruzen.

Minato lowered his gaze. "Of course not."

The two arrived at the experimental facility, only to be greeted by a gruesome scene—corpses scattered across the ground, blood soaking the earth.

Hiruzen's face turned grim, and Minato furrowed his brows.

"We can discuss these matters later. For now, we need to address your unauthorized entry and the killing of your fellow villagers!"

Mirai shrugged, his tone nonchalant. "I killed them to gather evidence."

"They were conducting heinous experiments. Their deaths are justified."

"As Captain of the Konoha Police Force, I have the authority to act."

"But you… bringing ANBU here and threatening me… tell me, Hokage-sama—are you planning a coup?"
