"Genya... How is Shisui?"

Uchiha Kinya immediately asked as soon as he saw Genya return. He and Uchiha Shin had been waiting at the house for a long time.

They thought Genya would be back soon, but they waited from day to night.

It seemed that Itachi must have already returned to the clan, and now Fugaku probably wanted to change the timing of the coup.

Next, Fugaku took out Shisui's suicide note and showed it to the elders.

In an instant, the entire clan ground went completely quiet. Their clan's genius had preferred to take his own life rather than stay with the village!

"How could Shisui have committed suicide? There must be a reason!"

"If he was unwilling to serve the clan, he could have left! How could he have committed suicide?"

"No… It must have been that Third Hokage who did something to Shisui!"

Fugaku's subordinates were smart, and some even suspected that the village higher-ups had played a part in Shisui's death.

"Wasn't it Danzo who did something to Shisui? Why is it being called suicide now? And there's even a suicide note?" Uchiha Kinya turned to his son and quietly asked.

"Shisui didn't want to worsen the relationship between the village and the clan, so he wrote this suicide note. And…" Genya's voice trailed off as his gaze remained fixed on the silent Uchiha Itachi, standing on the high platform. After a pause, he continued, "It looks like Itachi hasn't told Fugaku about the real situation!"

Upon hearing this, Uchiha Kinya and his son were both shocked and instinctively glanced at Itachi.

Finally, it was Uchiha Shin who spoke up, his voice filled with suspicion: "You don't mean that Itachi has sided with the Third Hokage, do you?"

"It's very possible… Now it's certain that Uchiha Itachi and his father Fugaku are not on the same side!" Genya stated his opinion. 

In fact, he realized that he should have prepared for this from the start, knowing that Itachi would never be on Fugaku's side, let alone their side.

"Hiss~ Does that mean Fugaku's coup has no hope now?" Uchiha Shin took a deep breath, speaking with a hint of regret.

He also knew that even if he reminded Fugaku now, he wouldn't listen!

Itachi sensed the gazes of the three people including Genya, frowning as he looked over. He saw the three of them whispering, but didn't pay much attention!

"The letter from Shisui is here. I'll let you all read it," Fugaku stopped the crowd from causing chaos, taking the letter from the elders and handing it over to other members of the clan.

Each person began to pass it around, and eventually, it reached Genya. He too saw the blood-stained scroll left by Shisui!

Just as Fugaku had said, the letter explained the reason for Shisui's suicide.

After reading it, some clan members looked toward Fugaku, their eyes filled with resentment and frustration. "Leader, what should we do now? Should the coup continue?"
