Chapter 103: Chapter 102 Tetsutestu v/s Bakugo
At this moment, he refused to give in.
Damn it! My Quirk is supposed to be like steel!
Tetsutetsu clenched his fists, gritting his teeth. He was known for his durability, for his ability to take hits and keep going. But after taking just one punch from Akira, he wasn't sure if Akira was even hurt—while his own bones felt like they were about to shatter.
For the first time, fear crept into his mind.
He had two choices: admit defeat or keep fighting.
He hesitated for a few seconds before shaking his head. No, he couldn't just give up. He represented Class B, and there was no way he would let himself become a laughingstock by surrendering after just one punch.
That determination reignited his fighting spirit.
With a loud *crack*, he activated his Quirk again, his entire body turning silver, his skin hardening like steel.
"AHHHH!"
Tetsutetsu let out a battle cry and charged forward, swinging his fist with everything he had.
Akira, however, didn't even bother dodging. To him, Tetsutetsu's movements were too slow.
*CRACK!*
Akira caught Tetsutetsu's punch effortlessly.
"You already know it, don't you?" Akira said, gripping Tetsutetsu's hardened fist tightly. "Your chances of winning against me are zero."
Then, with a single motion, Akira lifted him and threw him across the arena.
*BOOM!*
Tetsutetsu crashed into the ground, the impact sending cracks through the arena floor.
The crowd gasped.
Akira calmly stepped toward him. His footsteps echoed through the stadium.
"You have two choices," he said, his voice steady. "Surrender now, or I'll beat you until you do."
Tetsutetsu coughed, struggling to his feet. His entire body ached, but his pride wouldn't let him back down.
"I won't say those pathetic words," he muttered, forcing himself to stand. "If I lose, I'll lose with dignity."
Akira tilted his head slightly. He wasn't surprised.
*Clap. Clap.*
He casually clapped his hands together. "I respect that," he said. "But don't expect me to go easy on you."
Tetsutetsu clenched his jaw. "I don't need your pity!"
Akira shrugged. "Oh, don't get me wrong—I wasn't planning on giving any."
Tetsutetsu roared, activating his Quirk once more, his entire body turning into reinforced steel. He charged again.
Akira sighed. "Alright. Playtime's over."
The moment Tetsutetsu got close—
*BOOM!*
Akira's punch connected before Tetsutetsu could even react.
He was sent flying, tumbling across the ground before barely managing to stand again.
"Not done yet...!"
But Akira was already in the air, descending like a meteor.
With a powerful kick—
*BOOM!*
Tetsutetsu was sent crashing into the arena wall.
The entire stadium fell silent.
For a moment, nobody spoke. The sheer force of that final blow left everyone stunned.
Then—
"*AMAZING! THE MATCH IS OVER IN AN INSTANT!*"
Present Mic's excited voice broke the silence, and the audience erupted into cheers.
"*Tetsutetsu is out of bounds! Kitagawa Akira advances to the second round!*" Midnight announced.
The stadium shook with applause.
"Incredible!" Present Mic exclaimed. "The first to advance in the final stage is none other than Kitagawa Akira from Class A!"
In the stands, Class B students looked on in shock.
"I didn't expect… Tetsutetsu didn't even stand a chance."
"Yeah… I thought his Quirk would let him hold his ground, but Akira didn't even use his Quirk to beat him!"
"He's way too strong. The gap between Class A and Class B is just unfair."
A soft voice interrupted.
"You're wrong."
Everyone turned to see Kendo, Class B's leader, speaking with a serious expression.
"It's not about the gap between Class A and Class B," she said. "The real gap is between *him* and everyone else in Class A."
She clenched her fists.
"That guy… he's a monster."
The atmosphere grew tense.
Kendo then turned to Monoma. "Be careful. Your opponent is from Class A too."
Monoma smirked. "Relax. I already fought Bakugo in the cavalry battle. Without Kitagawa Akira's help, Bakugo would've lost."
He chuckled.
"If anything, Class A should be worried about *me*."
But despite his confidence, everyone else in Class B wasn't so sure.
Because after what they just saw…
They all realized something.
Kitagawa Akira wasn't just another strong opponent.
He was in a league of his own.
