Chapter 13: Chapter 13 : Finn Memories

**Hmm!**

Wanda Opened her eyes and look at the world in front of her. It's blank, the floor under her feet is as white as snow, and the sky is hazy, like heaven.

But...

As the surrounding haze gradually dissipated, patches of lush forests rose from the ground, and tall trees shot straight into the sky.

"Is this Finn's Memories?"

Wanda's pretty face showed surprise. She had been mentally prepared before entering, knowing that Finn was an optimistic person.

But after witnessing the fantastical forest in front of her, she couldn't help but feel a wave of emotion.

"His state of mind..."

Wanda strode forward. Animals darted between the trees, and memories of Finn emerged in the woods, swaying with the wind.

The memories spanned from his childhood to adulthood.

Every memory was visible, even those buried deep within or forgotten by Finn himself.

Under the influence of Chaos Magic, nothing remained hidden.

The memories were filled with joy, moments that made her smile, but also pain that tugged at her heart.

In his memories, Finn grew up in a California orphanage. He lacked care from a young age, watching as other children were adopted one by one.

Yet, no one wanted him. It wasn't until he turned eighteen that Finn was finally able to leave... only to face the world alone.

"It turns out he had such a difficult life,"

Wanda murmured, her expression softening.

The loneliness in Finn's memories resonated with her, stirring a sense of empathy.

But as she delved deeper, what moved her even more was Finn's unwavering optimism.

Despite the hardships, he always faced life with a smile. His positive outlook even began to influence her.

"He's been through so much, yet he always manages to face everything with a smile."

Wanda's special abilities allowed her to feel Finn's optimism deeply.

The positivity radiating from his memories began to dissolve the depression that had weighed on her for so long.

---

Meanwhile, in reality...

Wanda's brow furrowed, and her fair face revealed a mix of emotions—confusion, conflict, and something deeper.

"Ah!"

She opened her eyes suddenly, stepping back and collapsing into her chair, breathing heavily.

"Wanda, are you okay?" Finn asked, his voice filled with concern as he opened his eyes and saw her flushed face.

Before Wanda had entered his spiritual world, Finn had taken precautions.

He had carefully crafted a set of memories, ensuring they aligned with the persona he wanted to project.

His life as an orphan was real, but he had embellished the rest to fit the narrative of an optimistic, resilient individual.

He had hoped this would help Wanda, but he wasn't sure if it would work. After all, Chaos Magic wasn't something to be trifled with.

"I'm fine," Wanda said, taking a deep breath to steady herself.

The emotions she had felt in Finn's spiritual world lingered, leaving her unsettled.

The optimism she had experienced there was still echoing in her mind, subtly shifting her perspective.

She looked at Finn, the young man who always seemed to radiate positivity, and felt an inexplicable pull toward him.

It was as if he were a beacon of light in the darkness she had been wandering through.

"I thought you might have cast a spell wrong. In movies, witches who mess up their spells suffer backlash. Are you sure you're okay?" Finn asked, half-joking, half-concerned.

"I'm fine," Wanda replied, brushing off his worry. "And I'm not a witch. I haven't touched any magic books. Doctor Strange might be more suited to the title of sorcerer."

She didn't mention what she had seen in Finn's spiritual world, but she had to admit one thing: his optimism had touched her.

It made her reconsider her own outlook. Perhaps it was time to let go of the past and look forward.

The rest of their lunch was spent in light conversation.

Finn's ability to keep the conversation flowing effortlessly impressed Wanda. Despite having just met, it felt as though they had known each other for years.

---

**After lunch...**

Finn returned to his apartment, while Wanda mentioned she had some errands to run and wouldn't be staying in Westview Town that night.

Finn didn't press her for details. He knew there were gaps in the timeline, and he couldn't account for everything.

Back at the apartment, Finn noticed that Agatha's windows had been repaired. He assumed she had used magic to fix them.

The incident earlier had been a close call—Agatha's attempt to use dark magic on him had nearly exposed his abilities.

If it weren't for the Shadow Corps, his secret would have been out.

"Agatha is a ticking time bomb. I need to deal with her soon," Finn thought as he walked down the hallway.

Just then, a rabbit appeared out of nowhere, hopping down the corridor.

It stopped and stared at him with glowing red eyes.

*Thump, thump, thump!*

The rabbit's gaze was unnerving.

"Where did this rabbit come from?" Finn wondered.

"Scratchy, what are you doing here?" Agatha's voice came from behind him.

"Aunt Agnes, is this your rabbit?" Finn asked, recalling that Agatha had a pet rabbit in this universe. It wasn't just any rabbit—it was likely magical.

"Yes, sorry about that. He got out. You don't mind, do you?" Agatha said with a kind smile, scooping up the rabbit.

"Not at all. I'm just a little tired. I'll see you later," Finn replied, eager to get some rest.

As he closed the door behind him, Agatha stroked the rabbit thoughtfully. "Do you think there's something off about our landlord, Finn?" she asked.

The rabbit twitched its nose.

"He seems fine. I've checked, and no one can hide from my eyes," Agatha murmured. "But we have bigger problems. That shadowy figure lurking around could ruin everything. We need to deal with him first."

The rabbit's red eyes gleamed as Agatha walked away, her mind already plotting her next move.
