Chapter 25: Chapter 25
"Let's go. I want the world government to come at me," Kong said with a grin. He was eager to test what Mihawk had mentioned—infusing Conqueror's Haki into his attacks. If he could figure that out, his power would reach a whole new level. So, he returned to causing trouble for the Marines, provoking fights at every opportunity.
However, this time, Kong had to move quickly before another admiral showed up. In each battle, he deliberately avoided using his Devil Fruit, focusing solely on channeling his Conqueror's Haki. He wanted to keep the pressure within himself, letting it flow through his body and into his strikes rather than simply unleashing it as an external force.
Without his Devil Fruit's abilities, Kong was no match for the Vice Admirals in direct combat. But his Haki was strong enough to knock them out cold, allowing him to escape before things got too dangerous.
Kong was never in any real danger. Thanks to both his natural talent and his cheat-like abilities, he continued to grow stronger at an alarming rate. Unfortunately, the Marines eventually stopped hunting him once they realized he was using their forces as training dummies. This left Kong with no choice but to take matters into his own hands.
He sought out a Marine battleship, dragged it onto land, and began striking it repeatedly, using it as a training tool to refine his Conqueror's Haki. Progress was slow at first—without a teacher to guide him, he had to figure everything out through trial and error.
It took him three days, but eventually, he succeeded in infusing his Conqueror's Haki directly into his fists. The results were far beyond what he expected. Not only did his attack power increase dramatically, but his overall strength, speed, and endurance skyrocketed. The ship, once sturdy enough to withstand his earlier blows, couldn't handle the sheer force of his attacks anymore. With a single strike, it shattered into pieces from the impact.
"That's a massive boost in my capabilities… and it only gets stronger as my willpower grows," Kong muttered, clenching his fist as he examined the strange energy surrounding it. Before his knuckles even made contact, the ship had already suffered the full impact of his strike. Every attack now carried crackling black lightning, a clear sign of Conqueror's Haki infusion.
"So this is Conqueror's Haki…" Kong's eyes gleamed with excitement. He wasn't strong enough to take on Akainu yet—he knew that much. If they fought again, he'd still get his ass handed to him. But his overall combat prowess had reached a new level.
Now, he could take on Vice Admirals without even relying on his Devil Fruit. "I should say I'm low Admiral level. I will say a peak Akainu would be a peak Admiral."

Kong stood on the beach, gazing out at the vast sea before him. Taking a deep breath, he stepped forward, unsheathed his sword, and slashed with incredible speed. A powerful blade of energy shot forward, splitting the ocean as if it were nothing.
"I wonder how far my swordsmanship has come…" he mused, watching the water crash back together. It had been three days since he dedicated himself to training with the sword. Now, it was March 3rd—exactly 31 days since he had become a pirate.
"Boss, one of our men just reported spotting Akainu near Alabasta," a pirate rushed over to inform Kong.
Kong raised an eyebrow. Since taking time to train, he had his crew act as his eyes and ears, gathering intelligence for him—a service that, of course, cost money. He had money, but one could never have too much money, so he planned to steal some money from the warlord.
"Then we have no time to waste. Let's move before something happens," Kong ordered without hesitation.
Alabasta was home to Rainbase, a city dominated by Crocodile, one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea. His casinos and restaurants lined the city, serving as both his stronghold and his primary source of influence. If Akainu was there, there was a chance the marines might take a bite out of his wealth.
Kong planned to seize all of Crocodile's wealth for himself. Without another word, he hopped aboard the ship, and his crew set sail for Alabasta. With a full day ahead before their arrival, Kong spent the time training with the weights on board, pushing his limits even further.
The next day came quickly, and soon, Alabasta was within sight. But as they neared, a blinding light caught their attention. Standing on the deck, Kong squinted at the miniature sun forming above the kingdom, its intense radiance illuminating the sky.
"That looked like a bomb," Kong muttered, stunned that such weapons existed in this world. This came out of nowhere. He quickly turned to his crew, expecting answers, but they had nothing. None of them had been on the island due to the harsh weather, and Kong had explicitly kept them from the casinos to avoid distractions.
"…Kong!" On the other side of the island, Akainu's gaze snapped toward the horizon. His instincts flared. Even with Alabasta's vast expanse, comparable to Australia, he could feel it. A presence, a lingering pressure that sent a sharp pulse through his scars. His hated enemy was near.
Meanwhile, Kong and his group landed on the island, wasting no time as they rushed toward Rainbase. As they ran, something unexpected happened, it began to rain.
Alabasta was a desert kingdom, a land where rain was a rarity, yet now, the entire island was drenched in an endless downpour.
"Go ahead," Kong ordered, barely sparing the rain a thought. "Loot every casino and restaurant under the warlord. Keep whatever you can carry in your pockets, everything else belongs to me."
His crew wasted no time, splitting up and storming into the establishments. Yet, despite the chaos, they refrained from harming civilians or workers.
Why? Simple. Kong rules.
"Wait, one of you go gather information," Kong called out, before settling down.
Immediately, a fight broke out among his crew—everyone wanted the job since it meant extra pay. Rolling his eyes, Kong sent another group instead, letting them settle it among themselves while he focused on the treasures being brought to him.
With each haul, he absorbed the gold, jewels, and valuables into his body. As he grew stronger, his storage capacity increased, allowing him to take everything without concern. For the safes and vaults his crew couldn't crack? Kong shattered them effortlessly, claiming their contents.
"Captain! Luffy is on the island!" A pirate came sprinting toward him, breathless. Kong's head snapped up, his eyes widening in shock.
