On the school bus, Caleb watched with an amused expression as his classmate conversed with a nervous expression.

Of course, some are excited to fight and test their strength against other students of school.

Since they are the no. 3 high schools, they are expected to perform better than other schools. They are top 3 after all, only behind the top schools such as number 2 and number 1 high school. Beside Caleb were Mei and Fatty who had their heads in front of the back of a seat sleeping soundly.

Then on top of Caleb's left shoulder was Voli, quietly looking around at the students with a curious expression.

It was the first time that Voli saw teenagers other than his master, Klein and Delvin. He could not help but feel puzzled by how weak they were. They could not even reach 5% of his master's strength.

'So these are my master's classmates. Why are they so fucking weak? They haven't even reached the awakening realm yet. The lowest realm? What the hell? Why is a master among these kids?'

Voli was confused at this moment as he didn't fully understand what is society.

Why would his master stay at a place where people that were around him were far weaker than him?

'Hmm... That female teacher is decent. She is already an extraordinary realm at her age. Voli nodded his head with appreciation and respect. He could see the bone age of the teacher not far away from them.

If not for that, the difficulty for ordinary creatures like him of reaching the transcendent realm was almost slim to non-existent.

'Hmm... this female beside the master is also not bad. Voli turned his head at Mei who was sleeping. He could feel that the latter was at the peak of the awakening realm which was not bad compared to the rest of the students. 'And this fatty, he's also decent as expected of my master's friend. Well, it seems I need to protect these two besides master. Maybe they were his dear friends? Hmm, now I see why Master brought me on this trip.'

'He wants me to at least protect these two friends of his, right?' Voli felt that he was smart for guessing.

Erina not far away sensed the gaze of Volley. She could not help but be curious and look at Voli and think:

Erina walked slowly in Caleb's direction. Caleb, sensing the movement, turned his head at teacher Erina with a puzzled expression. 'Huh? Why is she coming to me?'

Then Caleb saw that Erina's gaze was on Volli on top of his shoulders.

'So he was curious about Voli? Fair enough...'

As Erina approached Caleb and Voli, her curiosity about the bear piqued, and she couldn't resist engaging in conversation about the unusual creature perched on Caleb's shoulder.

"So, what breed is this little guy?" Erina asked, her tone filled with genuine interest as she admired Voli's unique appearance.

Caleb smiled, choosing his words carefully as he crafted a convincing lie. "Oh, he's a Thunderstorm Bear," he replied smoothly, his expression casual as he stroked Voli's fur. "A rare breed with powers of lightning and ice. I bought him from Mahayana for 300,000 pesos."

Erina's eyes widened in surprise at the mention of such a hefty price tag, but she nodded in understanding. "Wow, he must be quite special then," she remarked, unable to tear her gaze away from Voli's adorable features.

As they continued to converse, Erina couldn't shake the feeling that Voli looked incredibly cute perched on Caleb's shoulder. She found herself referring to him as "the little guy" in her mind, charmed by his endearing presence.

"Why did you bring him along?" Erina asked, her curiosity getting the better of her as she sought to understand Caleb's reasoning.

Caleb shrugged casually, a mischievous glint in his eye as he concocted another clever lie. "Oh, Voli here is my lucky charm," he explained, his tone light and casual. "I always bring him along for good luck, especially during important events like the Elite Trial."

Erina nodded in understanding, impressed by Caleb's dedication to his superstitions. "Well, he certainly seems to be a lucky charm," she remarked with a smile, her eyes twinkling with amusement as she glanced at Voli.

As their conversation drew to a close, Erina couldn't help but feel a fondness for the adorable bear and his enigmatic owner. She made a mental note to keep an eye on Voli during their journey to Manila, curious to see what other surprises he might have in store.

As we pass through, keep an eye out for its signature locations and tourist spots, such as Pagsanjan Falls, Enchanted Kingdom, and the hot springs of Los Baños."

The students listened attentively, some nodding in recognition as they took in the information about the province they were passing through. For many of them, it was a chance to learn more about the diverse regions of the Philippines.

However, their attention was soon drawn to Hernandez's next announcement, which came as a surprise to some.

"Due to the long journey and the energy-intensive nature of our A1 Ultra Bus, we'll need to make a brief stop at a nearby electric station to recharge the battery fuel," Hernandez explained, his tone apologetic. "This will ensure that we have enough power to reach our destination safely and efficiently."

Some of the students exchanged curious glances, intrigued by the mention of the bus's advanced fuel system. It was a reminder of the cutting-edge technology that powered their transportation, a far cry from the traditional gasoline engines they were accustomed to.
