Itachi Uchiha: Massacre Night

'A hit-and-run fight, huh? That's problematic. I need to use my Mangekyo, or I will die,' Itachi thought as he decided to activate his Mangekyo Sharingan but stopped at the last moment because he was afraid of bleeding, which could cause him to lose sight of Obito, so he decided to keep using just Observe with his base Sharingan.

'Behind me again!!' Itachi said as he saw the traces of Obito's chakra behind him so he dodged Obito's attack before he could come out of the tree'How does he know when I'm going to attack?' Obito thought as he went back inside the tree again and tried another sneak attack which failed yet again.

"Coward, stop attacking like a pussy and fight like a man," Itachi yelled as he tried to keep up with the ever-increasing speed of Obito.

"You are right. I should attack from the front," Obito said as he came out from the ground and stood in front of Itachi at a distance.

'Fuck, now he is going to use his old strategy where he will pass right through me and suck me in the Kamui dimension. I need to make eye contact with him somehow,' Itachi thought as he saw Obito sprinting towards him.

"Great Fireball Jutsu." Itachi used his typical fire release jutsu at Obito, who laughed a little after seeing Itachi's futile attempt and easily dodged it.

"These useless attacks won't work on me. Perhaps I overestimated you" Obito said as he saw the kunais coming towards him from all sides so he simply phased through them which made the kunais hit eachother.

The moment the collision happened, the 4 kunais turned into 4 shadow clones, which attacked him from all sides. Worried that one of them might be real Itachi, he threw all of them into Kamui.

'None of them were real since they didn't have the crow' Obito thought as he tried to find Itachi.

"Obito?" A feminine voice called out Obito's name from behind which made him lose his mind since he knew that this voice belonged to his childhood sweetheart.

"Rin?" Obito said as he turned around and saw his childhood crush in front of him giggling.

"No, It's a Genjutsu." He wanted to look away and get rid of this 'Genjutsu,' but he couldn't help but want to look at his crush for some time. He was the true definition of the word Simp.

"Obito? Look, I captured this crow?" Rin said as showed Obito the Mangekyo Sharingan of the crow.

"No...." Obito said as the pattern of his Mangekyo changed a little but he soon disappeared from his spot.

'Sigh, I should have remember that Izanagi was a thing. What a waste,' Itachi thought as he hid himself and canceled his transformation jutsu, which he had used to turn into Rin.

"How did you put me in Genjutsu?" Obito asked. He didn't see Itachi undoing his transformation, so he thought of everything that happened as a part of Itachi's Genjutsu because how else would Itachi know his real name? The only possible answer to him was that Itachi used a Genjutsu which showed people's desires.

'Is this guy stupid or something? Well, it's helping me, so I don't mind,' Itachi thought as he activated both of his Mangekyo Sharingan and decided to show himself to Obito.

"I'm the strongest when it comes to Genjutsu. You were already trapped the moment you met me. Either way, the real fight is just starting," Itachi lied with a straight face as he appeared with both of his Mangekyo activated, which shocked Obito.

'He already has Mangekyo Sharingan?' Obito thought.

"Let's see if you can survive my brainwashing again," Itachi said as he called for his crow, who sat on his shoulder yet again.

"It was a good fight. We will meet again, Itachi Uchiha" Obito said as he left the area almost immediately the moment he saw Itachi with three Mangekyo.

He wasn't afraid of fighting Itachi or anything, but he found it very annoying to deal with 3 Mangekyo Sharingan at the same time, especially when he didn't know what Itachi's Mangekyo abilities were and he also didn't had the option to use Izanagi anymore, so he simply retreated using Kamui and went back to his base.

'Is he truly gone now? I can't be careless with this guy' Itachi thought as he also decided to retreat from the area since he had enough of Obito and wanted to save his chakra to deal with the others.

Once he was a bit closer to Konoha, he deactivated his Mangekyo and Observe function which made him breathe a sigh of relief.

'I had no idea that it hurts that much to use Mangekyo. Thankfully, my Observe function doesn't drain my chakra like my Mangekyo, or I would have run out of Chakra long ago,' Itachi thought as he soon reached his secret base, where he decided to rest for a minute to recover his chakra before going to Konoha.

'Let's gather up my thoughts. I may have survived my encounter with Obito, but I have yet to resolve the tense situation in the village,' Itachi thought as he sat down and went into deep thought.

He had the memories of the original Itachi so he knew how dire the situation is in the village. The whole city is being guarded by Anbu while the elders are waiting for Itachi to start his mission.

'It would have been great if that Rob guy had sent me some days ago, but no, he had to send me on the night of the massacre, and now I have also wasted my best weapon to stop everything. That bastard definitely did it all on purpose to troll me.

Sigh, what's happened happened. Nothing comes from resentment. I should focus on the present' Itachi thought as he stretched his body a little and decided to head back to the village.

He knew that it was too late to stop everything and he had to pick a side. The village or his clan and parents that raise him. The answer to him was crystal clear.

'No way I'm killing my parents. I have Itachi's memories which makes me closer to them. As for the village, I don't care much about it. If things went wrong, I will just flee the village with my family' Itachi said as he got up and decided to go back to Konoha.

He had a simple plan, which was to take over the Leaf Village with The Uchiha Clan and kill the old people in power, which would help them convince The Anbu to join them, which in turn could keep the collateral damage to a minimum.

"Let's get it done," Itachi said as he immediately disappeared from his place and went back to Konoha
