While assigning tasks to Saiba Nao, Akira happened to return to the Fate world.

As soon as he arrived, he heard the system's notification.

[Ding!]

[Congratulations to the host for triggering a villain check-in!]

[Check-in Level: Purple to Gold]

[Check-in Type: Event-based Check-in.]

[Check-in Event: Complete Collection of the Holy Forces.]

[Requirement: Subdue key figures of the holy forces and reincarnate them as your servants. Examples: Xenovia, Irina, Griselda, Gabriel, Jeanne, Rint Sera, etc. As long as they serve the God of Light, they are considered part of the holy forces.]

"The complete collection of the holy forces?"

"I understand the others, but is Jeanne really part of the holy forces?"

Akira thought of Jeanne from the DxD world, who was part of Cao Cao's team.

Her sacred gear was "Holy Sword Creation," and she was a descendant of Jeanne who had joined the Khaos Brigade. Could she still be considered part of the holy forces?

Could it be that she joined the Khaos Brigade out of faith in God?

A terrorist for the Lord?

Could it be that her Lord wasn't Yahweh, but Allah?

As Akira pondered over Jeanne, a soft, fragrant presence suddenly rushed into his arms.

Looking down, he saw the blushing face of Saiba Nao.

Nao clung to Akira's arm, pressing it against her chest, her eyes filled with desperation.

"Akira! I just saw Rin!"

Even though she had grown up, Nao was certain that her daughter was in danger!

Now, her daughter was fighting monsters, and as a mother, how could Nao not be worried?

So, as soon as Akira returned, Nao immediately threw herself at him.

When a woman has a man, she sees him as her pillar of support, especially a traditional woman like Nao.

"Rin? So, she's fighting near the river?"

"Alright, I'll go check it out right away."

Akira looked toward the river and saw a tall battle flag, followed by a golden-haired beauty with long, wavy hair.

Jeanne, using her holy flag, was impossible to miss.

"Wait, Jeanne?"

Akira rubbed his eyes, making sure he wasn't seeing things.

This wasn't the Jeanne from the DxD world, who wielded a holy sword and joined a terrorist group.

This was the Jeanne from the Fate world!

"Could it be that the 'complete collection of the holy forces' refers to Jeanne from this world?"

Akira naturally came to this conclusion.

Ten minutes earlier:

Before Akira returned.

At Jeanne's call, all the Masters and their Servants had gathered by the river.

"Haahhh!!"

Saber was the first to step onto the river, slashing at the sea demon's tentacles as they extended.

While Saber bought time, Jeanne began her speech to the Servants.

"Everyone! The Holy Grail War has gone far beyond normal order!"

"Not only are the Masters and Servants of this era involved, but this war has also affected the Masters and Servants from ten years in the future!"

"Time itself has become chaotic, and the boundaries between worlds are collapsing!"

"But even so, as Heroic Spirits, we have a duty to protect humanity and all life!"

"This sea demon has the ability to devour life and grow stronger. If we don't destroy it quickly, it will cause a catastrophe that could destroy the world!"

"So, as the Ruler of this Holy Grail War, I call upon all Masters, even those from ten years in the future, to join forces and eliminate this evil!"

"If we succeed, I will grant each participating Master one Command Seal. Those who perform exceptionally will receive two!"

As soon as she finished speaking, thunder roared, and Rider arrived on his chariot.

"Then leave it to me!"

Rider charged forward, his lightning striking down the tentacles that reached for him.

"Saber! Since you also have memories of the future, will you fight alongside me?"

"Of course! And unlike in my memories, I am now at my full strength!"

With that, Saber leaped from the water, landing outside the sea demon's attack range.

"Good! I always wanted to fight you at your full strength!"

Rider laughed heartily.

He had lost to Saber before, but that fight had been one of pure skill and strength, and it had thrilled him.

Seeing Rider and Saber arrive, Jeanne breathed a sigh of relief.

She knew that, according to the original timeline, these two were key to defeating the sea demon.

"Your plans are clear to me now."

Jeanne raised her flag, blocking the sea demon's attack on the residential area.

Taking advantage of the opening, Rider quickly communicated with Saber.

"Saber!"

"My strategy remains the same! I'll drag this monster into my Reality Marble. While I hold it off, you charge your attack!"

"Once you're ready, I'll release it at the designated location. Understood?"

"Understood! I've already marked the spot!"

Saber, having memories from ten years in the future, knew the true nature of the Holy Grail and had a better relationship with her Master, Kiritsugu.

"Good! Then let the battle begin!"

[Ionian Hetairoi!]

Rider's Reality Marble engulfed the sea demon, pulling it into the bounded field.

On the river, Saber ran across the water, quickly reaching the designated spot.

"Ex—"

The wind around her sword dissipated, revealing the golden blade of Excalibur.

The sword shone with a brilliant light, creating ripples in the water beneath her.

Heroic Spirits from the Fate world were different from demons from the DxD world.

Demons in the DxD world had balanced stats, with strong physical abilities.

But Heroic Spirits were often specialized.

Compared to demons or angels, they were more like "Noble Phantasm users."

Each summoned Heroic Spirit was at least as strong as a high-class demon, and their Noble Phantasms were manifestations of their legends.

In a way, they were like the ultimate "Sacred Gear users," with some even surpassing that level.

Saber was one of the strongest Heroic Spirits.

She focused, raising her holy sword.

[Ex—]

The sword began to glow with an intense light.

Saber's holy sword, Excalibur, was a weapon capable of releasing the strongest fantasy, the light of the stars themselves.

It was a sword forged by the stars, the pinnacle of human and celestial achievement.

Only those recognized by both the stars and humanity could fully unleash its power.

Golden particles of light gathered around the sword.

"Saber! Rider will release the sea demon in five seconds!"

"Five... four..."

"It's coming!"

Rider's Reality Marble collapsed, and the sea demon was released at the designated spot.

At the same time, Saber completed her charge.

[Excalibur!!!]

A torrent of starlight erupted from the sword, engulfing the sea demon.

The demon's body began to disintegrate under the light.

"Gyaaaaaah!!"

The sea demon let out a painful roar, its body writhing as it tried to retreat.

"This isn't good! The sea demon is stronger than before!"

Saber realized that her attack hadn't been enough to destroy the demon in one shot.

"Master! I need more power!"

Kiritsugu, Saber's Master, immediately used a Command Seal.

"By the power of this Command Seal, Saber, maximize the output of your Noble Phantasm and destroy the sea demon!"

"Haahhh!!"

Saber's eyes sharpened as the Command Seal boosted her power beyond its limits.

The light from Excalibur grew even brighter, completely enveloping the sea demon.

"Did it work?"

Jeanne watched with hope.

But soon, the demon's roar echoed once more.

"Gyaaaaaah!!"

The sea demon's body began to regenerate at an alarming rate, quickly returning to its full strength.

"How is this possible?!"

Jeanne and Saber were stunned.

Such regeneration was beyond anything they had expected.

Was this monster truly unstoppable?

Meanwhile, at the church, Kirei Kotomine walked in calmly.

He had no intention of helping with the sea demon.

Jeanne's rewards held no appeal for him.

One or two Command Seals?

They were nothing compared to the dozens he was about to obtain.

Still, the battle's progress concerned him.

If even Saber's Excalibur could only destroy half of the sea demon, things were getting complicated.

"Gilgamesh, if you were to use Ea..."

Kirei suggested after a moment of thought.

"Kirei, are you suggesting that I, the King of Heroes, intervene to destroy this monster?"

Gilgamesh's serpent-like eyes gleamed with a dangerous light.

"Yes. If this monster continues to rampage, the stage for your entertainment will be destroyed."

Kirei spoke bluntly, but Gilgamesh wasn't offended.

"Very well, Kirei. I shall grant your request."

"But remember, I have my own conditions."

"First, Saber must be utterly defeated. I want her to understand the limits of her power."

"Second, that faker must appear."

"Given that you've gained the power of your future self, it's likely he has too."

"And knowing him, he will definitely intervene."

"When he appears, I will deal with him personally."

Kirei smiled faintly.

"Then I wish you success in achieving your goals."

With that, Kirei tossed Lancer's spear aside and walked deeper into the church.

He had his own plans to carry out.

Back at the river, Jeanne and the others prepared for a second attempt.

"If one Excalibur isn't enough, then how about two?"

Rin Tohsaka had finally arrived.

She had been recovering her mana at the Einzbern Castle but was called to the battlefield before she could fully recover.

"With two Excaliburs, our chances of victory will increase significantly!"

Jeanne felt relieved.

She knew from her memories of the future that Saber had participated in the Holy Grail War ten years later.

If that was the case, then Saber's current Master, Shirou, should have inherited her power.

She hadn't called him earlier because she thought one Saber would be enough, and she didn't want to drag a child into this.

But now, with the situation so dire, she had no choice.
