Chapter 2: Chapter:2:The Path of Power and Lost History
Legend of Xypher...
A New Journey Begins
Xypher stood over the unconscious Steel Fang Boar, his chest rising and falling with exhaustion. His power level had jumped from 10 to 100—a transformation he never thought possible. The blue glow of his Aura Force flickered around his body, a symbol of his growth.
Before he could celebrate, Master Gorun suddenly appeared, arms crossed and grinning. "Hmph! Took you long enough, brat."
Xypher nearly jumped. "Master! You left me alone in a forest full of monsters!"
Gorun chuckled. "And look at you now—stronger, faster, and a lot less whiny. But don't get cocky, kid. This is only the beginning."
Xypher wiped the sweat from his brow. "Then what's next?"
The old master's grin widened. "Your next test—travel across the Seven Provinces and reach the Ruins of Eldoria. Along the way, you'll battle warriors, uncover ancient secrets, and—if you're lucky—find out who you really are."
Xypher frowned. "Wait… 'who I really am'?"
Gorun's expression turned serious. "There's more to you than you know, boy. And you'll soon understand why…"
Encounter with the Crimson Blade Clan
Xypher set off on his journey, traveling through forests, deserts, and treacherous mountains. After days of walking, he arrived at Valoria City, a bustling town filled with warriors, merchants, and travelers.
As he wandered through the marketplace, a scream pierced the air.
"Let me go, you creeps!"
Xypher turned to see a girl with long silver hair and fiery red eyes struggling against three burly men dressed in crimson robes. She wore a warrior's outfit, and her energy radiated a strong presence.
Xypher stepped forward. "Hey! Let her go!"
One of the men sneered. "Stay out of this, kid. She belongs to the Crimson Blade Clan now."
Xypher clenched his fists. "I don't care who you are. Three-on-one? That's just pathetic."
The girl smirked. "Finally, someone with guts."
The men lunged at Xypher, but he dodged effortlessly. With his newfound power, he moved like a blur, countering their attacks with swift punches and kicks.
BOOM!
One man crashed into a fruit stall. Another tumbled into a water barrel. The last one barely had time to react before Xypher delivered an Aura-Fist Strike, knocking him unconscious.
The girl dusted herself off. "Not bad, hero."
Xypher scratched his head. "Uh, thanks. Who are you?"
She smirked. "Name's Lyra. And you just made some very dangerous enemies."
The Truth About the Dragon War
Later that night, Lyra took Xypher to an abandoned temple outside the city. The temple was covered in ancient carvings—dragons, warriors, and a battle unlike any he had seen before.
Lyra traced her fingers over the engravings. "A thousand years ago, the world was ruled by dragons. But a great war broke out between them and humanity. Some dragons sided with us, others wanted to destroy us. In the end, the war nearly wiped out both sides… and the truth of it was buried."
Xypher stared in awe. "What does this have to do with me?"
Lyra hesitated before whispering, "Because you carry their blood."
Xypher's heart pounded. "What?!"
She nodded. "You're different, Xypher. Your power… it's not just human. If you keep growing stronger, you might awaken something no one's seen in centuries."
Before Xypher could process this, a deep roar echoed through the temple. The ground shook as a massive Shadow Serpent slithered out of the darkness, its glowing red eyes locked onto them.
The Rise of a Warrior
The Shadow Serpent struck like lightning. Xypher barely dodged as its fangs shattered a stone pillar. Lyra drew her twin daggers, slashing at its scales, but the beast barely flinched.
"Xypher!" Lyra shouted. "We need to hit it hard!"
Xypher gritted his teeth. His energy surged as he gathered his Aura Force. "Then let's finish this!"
He leaped high into the air, his fist crackling with blue energy.
"AURA BREAKER!"
His punch connected with the serpent's skull—BOOOOM!
The impact sent shockwaves through the temple. The beast roared in agony before collapsing, defeated.
Xypher landed on the ground, breathing heavily. His scanner beeped:
Power Level: 100 → 500
He stared at his hands, feeling the immense energy coursing through him. Lyra grinned. "Told you. You're something special."
As they left the temple, a shadowy figure watched them from afar.
"The boy has awakened," the figure murmured. "The war… is coming again."
