A massive spiked club swung down from behind.

The Kuja warriors, their Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) alerting them, whether clearly or vaguely, to the impending attack.

The smaller, more agile Kuja warriors dodged the blow, but in doing so, they emerged from the shadows.

"Who's there?!" The lazy pirates in the abandoned factory shouted in alarm.

Marigold flicked her snake bow, and it transformed into a dazzling serpent, coiling around her arm. Planting her feet firmly, she turned, golden scales appearing on her cheeks and arms as she raised both palms. The spiked club collided with her hands with a resounding "Bang."

"Fool!" The attacker, a burly pirate wearing a helmet, laughed. "My spiked club is..." He trailed off, his expression hardening as his arm began to tremble, struggling to contain the force.

The dark hands gripping the spiked club pushed upward, and Mari's face became entirely covered in golden snake scales, revealing dark golden vertical pupils, cold and serpentine.

"This is impossible..."

The pirate with the spiked club muttered as an immense force from his own weapon lifted him off the ground and flung him backward, knocking over other pirates in his path.

"Everyone, sisters...!"

Marigold transformed into a colossal golden serpent, with muscular limbs like dragon arms made of gold, slithering across the ground. With a single swipe, she cracked the hard brick floor. Tilting her head slightly, she declared, "Let's get to work!"

"She has the same powers as the Vice-Captain... She's a Zoan-type Devil Fruit user!"

The pirate with the spiked club and his companions screamed in terror, realizing they were surrounded by a barrage of cold, pointed arrows.

"How vicious!"

The pirates drew their swords and weapons.

The Kuja warriors maintained their distance, moving along the edges with perfect coordination. Each warrior's arrow found its mark with unerring accuracy, no two targeting the same opponent.

Marigold, flicking her tongue, sent pirates flying with every slap of her hand. With the sweep of her long serpent tail, she whipped away any pirate attempting to sneak up on her. The Mythological Zoan "Serpent of Strength" granted her immense power and stamina, allowing her to savor the battle as she struck down pirates like swatting flies.

"That... Monster!" A pirate, blood pouring from his head, desperately dragged his spiked club, fleeing in panic. "Quick, find the Captain!"

"Oh? Is your Captain a strong one?" Marigold surveyed the fallen pirates, some unconscious from her casual strikes, others impaled by wooden arrows, their bodies mutilated.

She slithered snake-like, swiftly pursuing the spiked-club pirate.

"That's right! Our Captain... is a big pirate with a bounty of 89 Million Berries!" the spiked-club pirate shouted in fear. "You can't possibly—"

His words were cut short as he was caught by a golden Orochi-like serpent and lifted by the neck.

"Heh..." The pirate struggled, his face turning red, unable to escape, the spiked club clattering to the ground.

"Don't underestimate me, you outsider," Marigold said coldly, her face radiating the coldness of a bloodthirsty beast. "You were saying your Captain has what kind of bounty again?"

"Well, I forget!" A large figure appeared behind Marigold, speaking slowly, "How about I ask him to repeat it?"

As the figure spoke, he raised a long blade, his expression deranged, eyes wide with a manic glint as if planning to cleave both Mari and the pirate in half.

"Mari, be careful!" A Kuja warrior shouted, quickly drawing the last arrow from their quiver and firing it with Armament Haki. The arrow sped toward the large figure.

But as the arrow reached its target, the figure raised his blade, and the arrow exploded in midair with a loud "Bang," disintegrating into fragments that scattered to the ground.

"How could this happen?!" The Kuja warriors cried out in shock.

Marigold tossed the pirate aside and turned, eyeing the figure behind her— tall, thin, and somewhat unattractive... a man, it seemed.

"Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew?" Marigold said in a low voice, "You just used Haki, didn't you? There's no way you could have destroyed their arrows otherwise..."

"Haki? What's that?" The Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew tightened his grip on his long blade and glanced at the women in similar attire nearby. "You're from that... what's it called? Kuja Pirate Crew, right? That fool Aifente tried to secretly run off to Magnifique Island behind my back... but was killed by you along the way, wasn't he? Ha ha ha, how laughable!"

"Captain, cough, cough, cough..." The pirate Marigold had tossed aside, gasping for air on the ground, called out, "Be careful, Captain! These women are very strong!"

"Useless! Who do you think I am?" The Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew swung his blade, and in Marigold's astonished gaze, a crescent-shaped blade light appeared, slicing through the pirate's body, spraying blood before he fell silent.

"You're really strong! That move is similar to Giorno's techniques..." Marigold commented.

The Captain laughed, "Ha ha ha, too weak! Too weak!"

As the two separated, the Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew prepared to pursue when arrows began to rain down from all directions.

"Get away from me!" The Captain waved his long blade, summoning a whirlwind of sword slashes that collided with the Haki arrows, detonating them one by one in midair.

"Unbelievable..." The Kuja warriors murmured as they watched.

The Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew pressed forward. His strength was overwhelming, even for Marigold to resist— a display of power beyond compare!

"Too strong..."

"We can't beat him..." The Kuja warriors, skilled in Haki but lacking stamina, were scattered by his charge. They barely managed to block his strikes with their Armament Haki.

Soon, the Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew approached Marigold, his long blade raised high.

"You're dead, you know that?" He sneered.

"Maybe," Marigold said, glancing at her fallen, injured companions. "You're really strong..." She fully transformed into her golden "Serpent of Strength" form, lifting her black Armament Haki-covered palms and standing her ground. "But here in Kuja, we don't retreat."

"Then you'll die as a warrior," The Captain said, raising his blade to strike.

At that moment, there was a loud "Bang!" as a hole was blasted open in the wall. A pirate from their crew, bloodied and battered, flew through it and crashed into the Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew, sending them both tumbling to the ground.

"Phhh..." Marigold breathed a sigh of relief and turned to look. From the hole in the wall emerged a familiar figure, slowly walking towards them.

"Giorno, be careful, he's very strong..." Marigold warned.

Robin and Liam stood beside each other, and in the background, the breathless old boss of twenty-eight looked on in panic. "That's... the Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew, Papp. Sicru! The... great pirate with an 89 million Bounty..."

Liam and Robin stared at him, silencing his words.

"89 million," Liam made a face at Robin, who just shook her head helplessly.

"Dammit..." The Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew hurled his subordinate off him and glared at the youth, who spoke seriously.

"You can't beat me," The youth said. "I suggest you come over here and let me end your life quickly..."

"What did you say?!" The Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew was stunned and enraged, hardly believing the words he had heard.

Suddenly, they all looked up, noticing a strange shift. The Captain of the Glacier Pirate Crew also raised his head, but before he could comprehend what was happening, the ceiling exploded with a loud "Bang!" and a fiery sensation washed over him.

He never saw it coming. By the time he felt the pain, he realized he was already on the ground, his body shattered. In the confusion, he heard that wicked voice saying, "I told you to come over quickly. Now you won't listen... Hancock, did you step on him already?"
