Chapter 909: A Brully’s Show Of Respect

Mystic Sumatra Art-Ravaged Influence!

"It can slightly accelerate the growth and development of our Ravaged Tribesmen." The one to present their gains next was the Bulging Snapper, Prarahh. "The Skill of Ravaged Influence will shorten the time it takes for our Tribesmen to become Clansmen."

"Seems you've not let go of your dream, huh?" The Empyrean Whisker muttered upon staring at the Bulging Snapper, "Do you truly need it though? You only need to follow the path established by your predecessors and you'll gain the power of a Deity."

"My race will never become an Empyrean Snapper." Prarahh snorted, "We'll forge another path, as those who failed to evolve back in the day."

The Skill of Ravaged Influence received some support from other Gold Grade Pranic Beasts, but it was limited as compared to other Skills. After all, Ravaged Influence only allowed the Pranic Beast to exert more of its influence on its Ravaged Tribesmen. It only shortened the duration it took for a Tribe to reach its peak.

However, to become a Clan, they have to complete their cultivation technique and one of them should reach the 2-Life Stage. That was the biggest obstacle, not the path taken to reach the peak of a Tribe.

They still had to work on a cultivation technique suitable for the Ravaged Tribe at the end of the day, which was the most difficult. As a result, the librarians showed a lack of support for this skill.

'A proper cultivation technique and nourishing resources is enough for a Tribe to reach peak development in a decade.' Inala thought as he observed the skill, 'This skill's value is low. Even if they didn't have Mystic Skill Creator like me back then, the Gold Grade Pranic Beasts are still confident in creating a Ravaged Tribe and developing it to its peak in a few centuries, which is a short period for them.'

If these Ravaged Tribes had the same resources as what Inala had offered the Quip Tribe, they'd reach Clan status pretty soon.

"Hah," Prarahh expressed its disappointment visibly, having not garnered much support to its Skill. Less support meant a slower development of the skill, which meant a longer time for its desire to be realised.

All the Librarians showed various skills not out of the goodness of their hearts. They were simply flashing the Skills and were like, 'You like this skill? Then help me complete it so we all can benefit from it.'

That was the core principle behind the existence of the Gold Varahan Library. If someone didn't have good enough ideas, then they couldn't take advantage of the sheer brainpower and experience present in the place.

Eventually, if they don't have anything to contribute anymore, the Wean Clan will remove them from their status as a Librarian. Whether the Gold Grade Pranic Beast was allowed to return to its home or locked up in a nest was up to the Wean Clan.

There was a fair amount of risk involved in collaborating with the Wean Clan. All the Gold Grade Pranic Beasts knew that. However, they had no other choice but to do so. Only under the governance of the Wean Clan could so many Gold Grade Pranic Beasts from various Races work together for a singular goal.

Otherwise, they wouldn't have anyone to control them. A situation like the conflict between the Brully and the Empyrean Whisker from before would be enough for the entire setup to dissolve.

Moreover, the sheer amount of resources that they needed to work together was ginormous. Only the Wean Clan could afford that. Even if they didn't have something, they could immediately purchase it from the Quip Clan.

The Wean Clan had become one of the biggest trading partners of the Quip Clan, so their demands were met on time and with absolute punctuality.

"Guess it's my turn," The Panger, Loya said and brought out a Vara Slip, commenting with pride, "I've finally had a breakthrough,"

"Wow!"

"Seriously? You've cracked it?"

"Congratulations!"

Every Gold Grade Pranic Beast expressed their excitement as Loya commented, "The Skill is termed the Race Elixir."

"It's similar in effect to a Low-Grade Elixir, but can only be consumed by those of the same Race." Loya continued its explanation, "If I were to refine it, any Panger that consumes it will not only experience a boost in its Prana, but its Nature would also be stimulated and become stronger by using some of my insights as a base."

Elixirs were typically refined using Parute Fruits. There were some exceptions, such as Inala's Life Bombs, using which he created Elixirs.

Parute Fruits had Prana in them that didn't have any external entity's body, mind, and soul energies. So, it was safe for consumption, a reason why consuming Parute Fruits built the Prana in a Spirit Container stably.

But they had a shelf life of a year, so to preserve them for a longer duration, the Parute Fruits were turned into Elixirs. Until now, Elixirs were universal.

The Skill of Race Elixir, changed that. The only disadvantage of that was being Race exclusive. However, that could also be seen as an advantage, depending on one's viewpoint. But he biggest advantage was the fact that it didn't require any Parute Fruits.

Yes, it could be created using a Pranic Beast's Prana. "The efficiency is horrible at present. I

will need to consume 1000 units of Prana to refine a Low-Grade Race Elixir that can barely grant four units of Prana. But if we can get it to the three digits, then I'll call it a resounding success."

'Creating Elixirs without the need of Parute Fruits...' Inala frowned upon accessing the Skill's information, 'If Sumatra's Transcendent Eater were to be killed by the Transcendents of other Continents, all Parute Trees on Sumatra would vanish. In such a situation, this skill will prove to be pivotal. But, why focus on such a skill in the first place?'

Inala eyed the Panger, 'Did it find information regarding the Continental Invasion? Was it leaked by the Brimgan Empire? Or, does it have a spy within the Empire's brass?'

'I need to gather information on what sort of skills this Panger has been creating all along.' Inala thought as he analysed the Race Elixir Skill and shared his insights.

The Gold Grade Pranic Beasts shared their creation one after another. Eventually, it was Inala's turn as he presented a Vara Slip, "This is the Skill of Adrenaline Rush. It can give you a boost in both physical and psychokinesis aspects."

Once he was done with the explanation, many Gold Grade Pranic Beasts expressed their support to the skill, quickly beginning to fill in the gaps or even suggesting ways to improve its existing functions.

"Good job," The Sphinger complimented Inala once the discussions had concluded, smiling, "You've shown your value as a Librarian."

"I properly acknowledge you as one of us."

"It was pretty well done for your first attempt." The Panger commented, having been the most interested in the Skill. As an ambush predator that lived by getting into the fight between two existences, the skill of Adrenaline Rush allowed it to conclude a fight faster.

The strengthening of its psychokinesis came as an added advantage.

"I'm glad I could be of use here." Inala smiled upon seeing that most of the Gold Grade Pranic Beasts had a favourable view of him.

The Panger then brought Inala to the side, away from earshot of other Gold Grade Pranic Beasts and whispered, "Back then, how did you retaliate against Pai's attack?"

"Have you seen an adult Brully fight?" Inala asked, not expressing the slightest bit of dissatisfaction with being asked about his fighting methods.

"Not really, The Panger shook its head, "Is that related to how you're able to use the Empyrean Whisker's Spirit Weapon?"

"Hands of Spirit Weapon," Inala pointed at his hands, "If a Brully faces a strong opponent and acknowledges it as someone strong, it'll modify its hands to express its respect. It takes a

while to reshape it, but that's how we show our respect."

"Then...your right hand," The Panger stared at Inala's right hand.

"Yes," Inala lifted his right claw, "My parent probably respected an Empyrean Whisker the most. So, he modified my right hand to act as an Empyrean Whisker's Spirit Weapon."

Of course, the modification part alone was a lie, since Inala had used the Major Treasure of

Weapon at that moment. Everything else was the truth though, as when a Brully respected a powerful opponent, it'll display respect by reshaping its hand into the respective opponent's Spirit Weapon.

It was extremely rare among the Brully Race. Even during the Brully Invasion, such cases were

few and far in-between. Most of the living beings were nothing but a target for a Brully. Very rarely did they feel the need to respect someone.

"Then..." After a moment of consideration, the Panger stared at Inala's left hand, "I hope there will come a point where you'll change your left hand into my Spirit Weapon."

"You..." Inala was surprised by the statement, watching the Panger leave after saying its

piece, 'Usually, they'll be defensive of their power being used by someone else. But this

Panger..'

Inala stared at the Panger's back in silence, 'There is definitely more to it than what it is letting on. I'm curious to learn more about its history.'

The Panger race was an Intermediate Gold Grade Pranic Beast. Whether they Mutate or Evolve,

they'll reach Deity status. However, similar to the Empyrean Whisker, they were too powerful, and hence never felt a genetic need to grow stronger.

But of course, they had been cultivating their ambition to reach the peak, having been neighbours to the Brimgan Empire. And with the recent changes where it was proven through the Mystic Seven that many paths leading to the Mystic Grade existed, their ambition was

ignited.

'I'm glad I came here!' Inala smiled as he returned to the Librarian Debate, accessing every piece of valuable information. All the Gold Grade Pranic Beasts tried to present a skill at every meeting, alongside their insights about various other matters.

Thereby, every month, at least 28 Skills were getting created. And by the end of the debate

itself, these skills were decently developed for practical use. A few months later, they'll be

ready.

Basically, twenty plus skills were being produced by the Gold Varahan Library every month. And when more and more Gold Grade Pranic Beasts become a part of it, this will only increase.

The Wean Clan intended to speedrun the development of Mystic Sumatra Art in order to catch up to the Brimgan Empire's accumulations. And they were on a damn fast track to success.

'I don't need to learn every single skill though. Even though they are good, majority of them are useless for a Brully.' Inala thought once the Librarian Debate concluded, walking to his home in silence, 'If I'm planning to revive the Brully Race, I need to focus my attention on what is necessary and what isn't.

'In a year, I have my fight against Shuwrak Zahara. Before that, I must create my Secondary

Nature.' Inala thought and turned around to stare at the Gold Varahan Library for a moment, 'I think I have a solid plan towards that. This debate has solidified my thoughts.'

Returning to his home, Inala stared at his hand to mutter, "Weapon is indeed the correct

choice. Now, I need to gather Shuwrak Zahara's method to gaining a Secondary Nature through a Human Avatar."

'Let's analyse his situation first and see what he needs.' Inala thought for a few hours before concluding, 'The easiest to predict is his dependency on a Millinger for resources to build his Human Avatar. That is his biggest weakness, but it's not his priority. When I interacted with him, he seemed more concerned about something else.'

"Guess I'll find out once I talk to him." With that in mind, Inala left his house and walked in

the direction of Shuwrak Zahara's dwelling.

At the same time, the man in question was glaring a spy sent from the Varahan Empire to

communicate with him, "I never thought you'd become the Varahan Empire's spy,"

"Lord Bunakin Vara."
