I, the Villain, Stopped Simping, and Now All the Female Leads Are Panicking

Chapter 2:

Chapter 2: The Self-Righteous Little Fairy

Sensing the presence descending, Yan She turned around to look behind him.

A tall, stunningly beautiful woman stood quietly in the distance. Beside her stood a man.

Yan She completely ignored the man and looked directly at Liu Yanran.

If one were to describe Liu Yanran’s figure, it would be—any more would be excessive, any less would be lacking. She was perfectly proportioned and slender in all the right ways. Even though Yan She already had memories of what Liu Yanran looked like, seeing her in person still left him slightly dazed.

In terms of appearance alone, Liu Yanran truly lived up to the title of a female lead or “fairy.” No wonder the former Yan She had been completely captivated by her.

But Yan She was no longer the same person he used to be. Beauty was beauty, but good looks couldn’t be eaten.

Growing impatient, Yan She asked, “Do you need something?”

His tone stunned Liu Yanran.

The Yan She who had always obeyed her every word now sounded completely indifferent, even annoyed. And the disgust in his eyes was something she couldn’t ignore, leaving her momentarily speechless.

“I…”

His change in attitude caught her off guard, and the words she was about to say were stuck in her throat.

Seeing Liu Yanran hesitate and say nothing, Yan She didn’t bother asking further and simply walked past her. As they brushed shoulders, he glanced at her lightly.

That simple glance was enough to make Liu Yanran furious.

“Yan She! Stop right there!”

Yan She ignored her and continued walking into the distance.

Liu Yanran quickly stepped in front of him, her cold expression filled with displeasure as she glared at him.

“If you have something to say, say it. If not, move out of the way,” Yan She said with a frown. He really didn’t want to waste time on a woman who lacked basic sense.

“Yan She, take your things back. I’ve said it many times—don’t ever give me anything again. I hope this is the last time!”

Liu Yanran’s voice was cold, clearly full of disdain.

She had always considered Yan She her sworn enemy, and she deeply hated him for being the one responsible for the destruction of her clan. Ever since joining the Heavenly Dao Holy Sect, Liu Yanran had been cultivating relentlessly, just to one day avenge her people and kill Yan She with her own hands.

Before she had enough strength to overpower him, she hadn’t intended to have any unnecessary interactions with him. But Yan She had been a shameless simp, constantly visiting her and frequently gifting her rare spiritual treasures.

This only deepened her disgust toward him.

Hearing her words, Yan She paused. Only then did he recall that not long ago, he had indeed sent her a rare treasure—the essence blood of a Dragon Turtle, a precious and uncommon item. It significantly boosted one’s affinity for water and ice-based divine powers.

Liu Yanran possessed the rare Lunar Physique, innately attuned to ice-type divine arts. The Dragon Turtle essence blood would greatly benefit her cultivation. After the former Yan She had obtained it by chance, his first thought had been to send it to Liu Yanran.

But she had refused to meet him, so he had ended up handing it over to one of her disciples.

It seemed the item had indeed reached her hands, and now she’d come directly to return it.

Yan She nodded and calmly stretched out his hand. “If you don’t need it, then return it.”

He was no longer that groveling simp. He wasn’t going to pamper Liu Yanran anymore. The Dragon Turtle essence blood was a valuable item, and he could use it for his own cultivation.

Hearing this, Liu Yanran froze. It was clear she hadn’t expected Yan She to say such a thing.

The old Yan She would never ask for anything back. Even if she threw it away, he would find a way to sneak it back into her hands. In the end, she’d have no choice but to reluctantly accept it and use it.

But today, something was different. Yan She actually dared to ask for his gift back.

“Fine! Take it! I don’t care about your stupid gift anyway! Just don’t come bothering me again!”

Liu Yanran brushed her storage ring, and a crystalline jade bottle appeared in her hand. She threw it at Yan She with a glare.

Yan She uncapped the bottle and confirmed it was indeed the Dragon Turtle essence blood. He nodded and stored it away in his own storage ring.

“If you don’t care for it, then return everything else I’ve given you as well,” he said indifferently, as if he hadn’t noticed the way Liu Yanran’s face turned bright red with anger.

“You…”

Liu Yanran was left speechless. She had only said that out of anger! Those spiritual treasures had long been used—how else could she have progressed in cultivation so quickly these past few years?

“You’ve already used them, haven’t you? So what’s with all the pretending? Trying to act noble?”

“If you can’t back up your words, don’t say them in the first place. You’re only making yourself look ridiculous.”

“Forget it. I never expected you to return them anyway. Just consider those spiritual treasures as food I fed to pigs.”

“Return the token for Nine Immortal Peak as well. Since you dislike this place so much, don’t come here again.”

Liu Yanran was so angry that she was shaking. Did he just compare her to a pig?

Even though she was furious, she had no choice but to grit her teeth and pull out the token from her robes.

“Take it!”

Who cared about some token or some privilege to freely enter and exit? Liu Yanran never wanted it anyway.

She had only reluctantly used those spiritual treasures because she didn’t want to waste them. Who needed his stuff?

If this helped sever ties with Yan She, then that was for the best.

“If there’s nothing else, then please leave, Junior Sister Liu.”

“Also, I hope that from now on you understand your place and stop calling me by name.”

“I’m the Holy Son. You should show me proper respect. And I hope this is the last time we have such an exchange.”

Yan She spoke calmly, eyes half-lidded.

“I… I understand…”

Liu Yanran trembled and subconsciously replied.

She could feel it. Though Yan She’s voice remained calm, the sense of distance and rejection in his words was undeniable.

As the current Holy Son of the Heavenly Dao Holy Sect, the authority he radiated was overwhelming, leaving Liu Yanran shaken.

“No need to see you off.”

Just then, the man beside Liu Yanran, who had remained silent until now, finally spoke up.

“So this is how the Heavenly Dao Holy Sect treats its guests? Truly eye-opening.”

He shook his head with mockery dripping from his voice.

Yan She gave the man a cold glance, not even bothering to respond.

“So the Holy Son disagrees with what I said?” the man continued. “Why not say it directly, let me hear the Holy Son’s so-called wisdom?”

Seeing that Yan She remained silent, the man smiled even more smugly. His tone grew increasingly unrestrained.

“They say the Holy Son of the Heavenly Dao Holy Sect is a cultivation genius, the pride of the entire Heaven’s Origin Continent.”

“But now that I’ve met him, ha… turns out he’s just an empty shell with a pretty face.”

The man’s arrogant expression was no longer concealed, and his eyes were filled with disdain as he looked at Yan She.
