I chose Luck and was given Infinite Luck

Chapter 35: When Life Finally Feels Right

When Life Finally Feels Right

1. The Golden Road to Success (Tom's POV)

Tom had never felt this much control over his life before.

Standing before the Hunter's Association, he listened as the board members debated whether to grant him a direct promotion to A-Rank status.

"No rookie rises this fast," one elder muttered. "And yet…"

Tom didn't need to hear the rest.

He already knew the outcome.

The world always favored him.

And so, when the head examiner cleared his throat and spoke the words—"Tom Peters, welcome to A-Rank."—Tom merely smiled.

His legend was just beginning.

As he walked out, a familiar voice called after him.

"Careful, Peters. When you're this lucky, people start to wonder if you're cheating."

Tom turned, smirking as his rival—Derek Hale, one of the guild's top combatants—leaned against the wall, arms crossed.

Tom chuckled. "I don't cheat, Derek. The world just plays in my favor."

Derek scoffed but grinned. "Then I'm looking forward to seeing how far you can push that luck."

Tom exhaled, stretching his arms.

He was exactly where he wanted to be.

2. A Star on the Rise (Stacy's POV)

Stacy stood at the edge of the Academy's private combat ring, watching the crowd whisper about her.

"She's that Void Sovereignty user."

"I heard she broke the elite combat simulation in under two minutes."

"The next Queen of the battlefield."

Stacy exhaled slowly, stepping into the arena. She didn't need a reputation. She needed a challenge.

Her opponent? The Academy's reigning champion.

She smirked. Finally, someone worth fighting.

As the signal sounded, she vanished, her Void devouring the space between them in an instant.

Her opponent never stood a chance.

3. The Life They Deserved (Diane's POV)

Diane set the dinner table, humming softly as the warm glow of the kitchen wrapped around her like a familiar embrace.

This was home.

Not a battlefield. Not a throne of cosmic power.

Just a home.

The scent of freshly cooked stew filled the air as she watched her family gather at the table.

Tom, now an A-Rank Hunter, exuded a confidence she had never seen before.

Stacy, stronger than ever, was shining in her own way.

And Mike?

Mike sat across from her, a gentle smile on his face, looking at her the way he used to before everything fell apart.

For the first time, Diane didn't feel the weight of what-ifs.

She wasn't looking for ways to fix the world.

Because the world was already perfect.

---

4. A Father Without Regrets (Mike's POV)

Mike leaned against the porch railing, watching the stars glimmer above.

Diane sat beside him, sipping tea, the warmth of their shared silence more comforting than any words.

"You seem peaceful," she murmured after a while.

Mike smiled. "For the first time in forever, I am."

He had spent lifetimes chasing time itself, trying to undo mistakes, fix the past, save what was lost.

But here?

Here, nothing needed fixing.

His son was strong.

His daughter was happy.

His wife was beside him.

What more could he ask for?

5. A World That Feels Too Real (Final Scene – Group POV)

That night, Tom sat on the balcony, staring up at the sky.

Everything was perfect.

Maybe too perfect.

For a moment—just a flicker—he felt like something was missing.

Like a part of him was meant to be somewhere else.

He frowned.

Then Stacy called from inside, "Tom, stop brooding! Come play cards with us!"

Tom chuckled, shaking off the strange feeling.

It was nothing.

Just his mind playing tricks on him.

This was his life now.

And for the first time—

He had no reason to fight it.
