"Who should I give this Fire Spirit Pearl to?"

"Natasha, just give her 12 spells."

"Gwen's strength is already solid, especially with the symbiote."

"Wanda—this Fire Spirit Pearl won't help her much."

"Not everyone wants to be a superhero."

"Oh, and Yelena, and Sharon."

Jaxon pocketed the Fire Spirit Pearl, deciding to distribute it later.

Giving these items should also yield a decent amount of destiny points.

"Conservatively speaking, at least 400,000."

"Then we'll still need 600,000 to break even."

Jaxon couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed, "It's mostly junk."

Now, all he can do is check if there's anything worthwhile in the special abilities.

A total of six special abilities were drawn.

[Qilin Arm: After fusing with the arm, strength can increase sevenfold (increases with power level).]

Jaxon recalled this as a special ability that first appeared in the discount mall months ago, but he hadn't bought it.

Discount mall items do get reduced prices, but there's hardly anything there Jaxon actually wants.

This Qilin Arm, for instance, seemed pointless.

With his current strength at 100,000 tons, most opponents couldn't handle it.

Even if he boosted it to 700,000 tons, it might not guarantee victory against certain foes.

So, this ability is a bit disappointing.

[Spiritual Perception: Can sense mental fluctuations within a certain range.]

In a word, useless.

Jaxon's enhanced hearing already suffices, making this ability somewhat redundant.

At best, it could sense emotions but offered no access to thoughts.

Compared to Professor X or Phoenix's telepathy, it's vastly inferior.

[Teleportation ability (enhanced): Improved teleportation ability with interstellar range.]

Not bad.

"It seems my previous teleportation was only partial."

[Eye of Judgment: An ability from Ghost Rider.]

Finally, something worthwhile.

This ability could be categorized as offensive, though it also had utility aspects.

It allows for a direct assault on the soul—definitely useful.

[Radiation Immunity (Passive): Immune to all radiation damage.]

This covers immunity to solar and nuclear radiation alike.

[Energy Barrier: Creates a protective energy shield.]

These six abilities didn't seem overly impressive to Jaxon.

"Oh, mostly garbage."

"Let's see what props I got."

From the system, he drew five props this time.

One, in particular, caught Jaxon's eye.

[World Travel Card (one-time, round trip included): Allows a one-time journey to a random world for one month.]

The prospect of traveling to other worlds made Jaxon's heart race.

"System, can I earn destiny points in other worlds?"

[Yes.]

Jaxon was eager to cause some trouble in new realms.

But soon, he tempered his excitement.

His current strength wasn't truly invincible.

For instance, neighboring worlds have their fair share of powerful figures.

The Flash is faster than him, and Superman's power remains unparalleled.

Not to mention, some worlds have deities, which left Jaxon feeling cautious.

"Maybe it's best to max out my upgrades before venturing into another world."

Jaxon resolved to focus on the current situation for now.

When things settled, he'd embark on his world travels.

He checked the card's price—300 million destiny points.

"I made a profit. A huge profit."

Excitedly, Jaxon examined the other four system props.

Even if they were useless, this draw already paid off.

[2x Destiny Card: Deposit destiny points, and in two months, you'll receive double plus extra rewards.]

The 2x Destiny Card intrigued him; the larger the deposit, the higher the yield, with additional rewards.

Depositing 1 million destiny points would yield 2 million after two months, along with 1-3 regular lottery chances.

"Does it work immediately?"

Jaxon hesitated, deciding to save for a bigger deposit.

Three props remained.

[(Choose One from Three) Summoning Card: Randomly selects three characters from other worlds; the host chooses one to summon here.]

[Challenge Card: Select a target; earn destiny points by defeating the target.]

[Discount Mall Refresh Coupon*2: Refreshes the discount mall.]

At last, Jaxon looked pleased.

The special items and abilities may have been average, but these props were valuable.

Three of the five items were especially promising.

The Challenge Card allowed him to set a target and earn destiny points by defeating them.

Rewards would depend on the target's strength and influence.

Jaxon already had a target in mind: Thor, the God of Thunder.

Defeating Thor could offer substantial rewards.

The summoning card could summon a potentially valuable character.

The World Travel Card would allow him to explore other worlds, gain opportunities, and acquire destiny points.

"System, does using the world travel card mean I have to travel immediately?"

[The host may first select a world with the card; whether to travel is up to the host.]

[There's no time limit!]

[Only when the host chooses to travel will the month-long restriction apply.]

"So I can test a world in advance. Let's see which world it will be!"

[Ding! Target world determined: The world of *The Boys* series.]

"Nice. I can go check it out later!"

---

Asgard, in the control room of the Rainbow Bridge.

Odin was furious.

His reckless son had just gone to Jotunheim, the Frost Giants' territory, and stirred up chaos.

Worse yet, he'd planned to annihilate all the frost giants.

Such behavior was suicidal.

Luckily, Odin had arrived in time to save him.

But Thor's actions were bound to create conflict.

Conflict leads to bloodshed.

Odin, having fought across the Nine Realms for millennia, had seen enough.

Lately, his mindset had shifted.

Attempting to unify the Nine Realms inevitably brought further disorder.

Moreover, could true peace ever be achieved by ruling them?

Would the Nine Realms genuinely accept Asgardian rule without resentment?

As Odin aged, he pondered whether the future ruler could maintain order.

Even as Ragnarok loomed.

Thor, however, was deep into a rebellious phase.

It gave Odin endless frustration.

His eldest daughter, Hela, was powerful but harbored unquenchable ambition.

Thor was impulsive, believing himself unstoppable as long as he wielded Mjolnir.

The youngest, Loki, had some intelligence but lacked the vision necessary for leadership.

In short, none of the three were ideal successors.

Thor, however, wasn't backing down and confronted Odin.

"Those frost giants need to learn to fear me, as they once feared you!"

Odin rebuked him sharply, "Pride and vanity, these aren't qualities a leader should uphold. You've forgotten all I taught about patience as a warrior."

"While you waited, the Nine Realms mocked us. Your approach is outdated."

"So, would you give a speech as Asgard burns?"

Odin was exasperated by Thor, who, at 1,500 years old, was still as defiant as ever.

"You're a vain, cruel, and greedy child!"

Thor shot back, "And you're an old fool!"

Odin was silent. At that moment, he'd finally made up his mind.
