Honkai Impact 3rd: Catching the Herrscher of Sentience at the Start

Chapter 137: Chapter 132: Poisoning Me Right After We Meet, You're Really Something!

"Let's head back to the platform. Himeko and the others are waiting," Fu Lin suggested, eager to change the subject.

"Himeko asked me to check: will you join us on this journey to explore the unknown, or stay at Herta's space station?" Welt asked, glancing at Fu Lin and Fu Shi before turning to Stelle.

"I…" Stelle looked between Fu Lin, Fu Shi, and Welt, visibly conflicted.

"It seems you haven't made up your mind. You can discuss it with Himeko when you meet her. March 7th is looking forward to you joining us," Welt said, adjusting his glasses.

----------------------------

"You've finally come back. Are you planning to board the Express with us?" March 7th excitedly ran toward the approaching group and asked.

"I never said that."

Fu Lin looked at Fu Shi in confusion, but Fu Shi shook her head and turned to Stelle. Stelle, noticing this, quickly waved her hands.

"Huh? But... we've faced so many challenges together. Are we really going to part ways here?" March 7th turned to Welt in confusion, as if things were not going as agreed, then looked pleadingly at Fu Lin and Fu Shi .

"We'll go back soon, but Stelle might not. She can board the Express, but only if she agrees," Fu Lin said, pushing Stelle toward March.

"Stelle~ You'll board the Express with us, right?" March 7th held Stelle's hand, staring at her with hopeful eyes.

"I... do you really want me to come?" Stelle, caught by March 7th's gaze, felt overwhelmed by her enthusiasm.

"Of course! We've gotten along well on this journey, and we're about the same age. Just those two points make it rare enough," March 7th said confidently, crossing her arms after letting go of Stelle's hand.

"You guys go ahead and chat. I'll head to the Express with Welt first," Fu Lin said, pulling Fu Shi along as they followed Welt, their eyes full of curiosity about the Astral Express ahead.

"Himeko," Fu Lin nodded in greeting as he spotted her near the train.

"Would you like to try some of my freshly brewed coffee?" Himeko asked, holding a cup of coffee as she looked at the approaching Fu Lin.

"Don't—" Welt tried to stop him, but it was too late.

"With pleasure." Fu Lin took the coffee, observing its rich color and enticing aroma, then drank it in one gulp.

In an instant, Fu Lin's expression changed. First, he looked stunned, then puzzled as he smacked his lips, followed by a frown, and finally his face contorted in discomfort.

"What's wrong with him?" Fu Shi asked in horror, looking at Fu Lin's pained expression and turning to Welt.

"Himeko's coffee... it's still too advanced for us," Welt replied with a slight smile, as if recalling his own experience.

"Excellent. You poison me right after we meet—how impressive!" Fu Lin exclaimed, wiping his mouth as he leaned on Fu Shi's shoulder and fixed a sharp gaze on Himeko.

"Is there a kitchen on this Express? I'd like to prepare a dish for this lovely 'Auntie Himeko,' something one can only taste once in a lifetime," he added, his tone sharp.

"Are you trying to kill her?" Fu Shi looked at Fu Lin in disbelief, now more curious about how bad the coffee could be to provoke such a reaction.

"Sure, I'm looking forward to your dish," Himeko said with a smile, though the slight twitch at the corner of her mouth showed she was annoyed at being called "Auntie."

"Forget it. Not just anyone can handle my cooking, and you're certainly not worthy," Fu Lin said after a moment of silence, turning his head arrogantly.

Welt quickly dragged Fu Lin away, calling out, "Himeko, I'll take them on a tour of the train first. Stelle is with March 7th and Dan Heng."

"Got it," Himeko replied, sighing as she looked at her now-empty cup of coffee, lamenting how hard it was to find someone with similar taste.

"Hmm? From the outside, this Express doesn't seem that big, but the interior is something else," Fu Lin remarked, surprised by the stark contrast between the Express's exterior and its spacious interior.

"The Astral Express, bearing the will of the Aeon of Trailblaze, travels through the vast universe. Naturally, it has some unique features," Welt explained, seated on a sofa as he observed the curious pair.

"Hey, are you the new recruits boarding the train?" Fu Lin turned, trying to locate the voice, but saw no one.

"Why are you looking around?" The voice came again, and Fu Lin finally noticed a plush rabbit at his feet. Curious, he picked it up to examine it, but as soon as he was about to put it down, the rabbit blinked, startling Fu Lin into throwing it away .

The plush rabbit reappeared by Fu Lin's side and said, "How rude of you."

"Fu Shi, is this one of your pranks?" Fu Lin asked, pointing at the plush rabbit.

"I'm not that bored. This little guy has such expressive features," Fu Shi said, squatting down in fascination to study the angry plush rabbit.
