HI3: I Don't Want to Be a Valkyrie

Chapter 140: Chapter 47: The Chiyou Cannon

"Still, how do we get inside?" Liliya pondered, gazing at the Red Dragon's minions ahead.

"Just charge in with brute force," Rozaliya declared, waving her hand grandly.

"Idiotic Rozaliya..." Liliya looked at her companion, momentarily speechless.

"...I suppose we have no choice but to rush in," Liliya acknowledged reluctantly, surveying the two-legged dragons and lizardmen blocking their path. She couldn't devise a better plan on the spot.

"That's more like it..."

After making their decision, Rosaliya and Liliya vanished in a burst of motion, reappearing... three hundred meters ahead in a flash.

At nearly level 70, Rosaliya and Liliya could cover over three hundred meters in a blink using their jump.

After several consecutive leaps, they neared the dragon cave's giant entrance, but it was guarded by too many dragon minions. A direct dash inside seemed improbable.

So...

When Liliya was still several meters away from the approaching centaur guards, she immediately gathered strength and launched herself upward, appearing high in the sky.

Briefly adjusting her position aloft, she locked onto the entrance of the dragon cave below.

Several two-legged dragons were stationed near the entrance.

Liliya targeted one of the two-legged dragons and plummeted down towards it.

The two-legged dragons below had been searching for the two demi-humans who had suddenly appeared... only to vanish just as quickly. They never expected something to plummet from the sky.

With only enough time for a single, piteous scream, one of the dragons was smashed into the ground, its flesh and blood splattering into the earth.

Faced with Liliya dropped from the heavens, the surrounding two-legged dragons, unharmed by her fall, were stunned for less than a second. Witnessing their comrade crushed by Liliya, they immediately roared and charged towards her.

As Liliya observed the charging two-legged dragons—numbering around thirty—she regarded them expressionlessly, neither flinching nor dodging.

When the dragons' claws or jaws were mere inches from reaching her, Liliya swiftly assumed a defensive stance at top speed.

Ultimate Skill: Defensive Counterattack

Every two-legged dragon that attacked Liliya instantly felt drained, as if all their strength had been sucked away by the expressionless demi-human girl before them.

"(Enhanced) Thrust Slash!"

Drawing upon the strength of all the two-legged dragons, Liliya the sword saint of the orphanage cast a stronger version of her Dash Slash spell.

Her body moved with the light!

Swan Lake, the great sword in her hand, carved a massive semicircular arc through the air.

In less than a second, Liliya returned to her starting position and calmly sheathed her blade.

After a brief wait, the thirty-some two-legged dragons surrounding Liliya were all bisected. Their lifeless bodies crashed to the ground, and blood flowed in rivers...

Liliya's Enhanced Dash Slash dealt another 1,500% physical damage on top of her normal attack power.

Most importantly, it had no cooldown...

It only required a slight amount of Honkai energy, allowing for unlimited use.

"Rozaliya, you can come in now!" At Liliya's call, a pink-haired young girl materialized beside her out of thin air—none other than Rozaliya herself.

"Let's enter the dragon's lair..."

They had arrived at the entrance, and Liliya took hold of Rozaliya, ready to begin their descent.

"Hold on, we don't want those small creatures following us inside," Rozaliya said, watching hundreds of lizardfolk and centaurs charging towards the entrance of the dragon's lair.

As she spoke, Rozaliya detached Liliya's small hand and once again retrieved the gods' weapons from her inventory—the Chiyou Cannon.

"You ants, go straight to hell!" she exclaimed, unleashing the Bloodthirsty Super-Heavy Cannon.

Just as the lizardfolk and centaurs were about to reach the cave's mouth, Rozaliya had completed three stages of charging for the Chiyou Cannon.

With a roar reminiscent of the demonic god Chiyou, a powerful... blast filled with freezing ice shattered everything in its path.

Boom!

The Honkai energy erupted, instantly reducing the hundreds of lizardfolk and centaurs to mere ice shards...

Then, the bone-chilling cold began to radiate outward.

In less than half a minute, the area within a kilometer around the dragon's lair was completely encased in ice, frozen solid...

Birds flying overhead were instantly transformed into icy sculptures, plummeting to the earth in a single heartbeat.

Then... the cold continued to spread relentlessly...

"Wow, that's sick! So badass!" Rozaliya observed the entire entrance of the dragon cave, completely frozen even deep inside. Holding the Chiyou Cannon in her hands, she couldn't contain her excitement.

This power was astonishingly immense.

And this was merely the inherent strength of the Chiyou Cannon itself. If wielded by Bronya with her "Snowy Sniper" enhancements, along with various powerful amplification abilities, the potency could multiply by several, or even dozens to hundreds of times.

"You idiot, Rozaliya, you've caused serious trouble..." Liliya glanced at the ecstatic Rozaliya, exasperated by the chaos the Chiyou Cannon had unleashed.

"What?" Rozaliya froze, looking puzzled at Liliya's rebuke.

"With such a commotion..."

Before Liliya could finish, the entire dragon cave—no, the whole mount of fire—seemed to begin trembling.

"Who dares to disturb the mighty red dragon... Blazezian!!"

A deafening roar, like thunder from the heavens, reverberated through the cave, its boundless pressure crushing down on Liliya and Rozaliya as if they bore a mountain on their shoulders.

Even these two emperors of a species felt awed by this presence.

"As I suspected...the red dragon couldn't bear it any longer," Liliya mused, her gaze fixed within the cave. How could such a proud creature tolerate such commotion?

In the wake of the thunderous roar came a surge of elemental energy, instantly transforming the cavern's entrance. The air grew searingly hot, the icy floor melting swiftly beneath their feet.

Red light began to pulse at the cave's mouth, and a colossal figure charged forth.

A massive creature, nearly two hundred meters long, burst out with wings beating powerfully, hurtling straight for Liliya and Rozaliya.

"Rozaliya, move now!" Liliya's face paled at the sight of the charging red dragon. She grabbed Rozaliya, yanking her aside just as they leapt away from the cave, materializing outside its entrance.

Fortunately...the bombardment from the Chiyou Cannon had already cleared the area of any other creatures, ensuring that no surprises awaited them. This allowed the two empresses to devote their full attention to confronting the giant dragon.
