Heroes of the Holy War

Miki rises and strikes Viktor, who spits out some blood from the blow. Kaen, surprised, says to himself,

"He could have easily countered that." After a moment, Kazoto sheaths his sword and cautiously approaches Kazoto, who is looking around.

"I'll give you three chances. Where is the sword and the map to the Maganta labyrinth?" Viktor says, grabbing Miki by the neck. Mai sneaks up behind Viktor and tries to stab him in the back, but Viktor impales Miki on the knife instead.

"Talk, and I'll let you go," Viktor says, while Mai falls to the ground in tears, watching her dying sister.

"Oh well," Viktor sighs, and as he puts his hands in his pockets, a white light disappears, and they return to Hans' hideout. Viktor grabs Mai by the hair and says,

"I've staked way too much on this to lose now," before knocking her out.

"Fox Guy, searching for the sword will take a bit longer," Viktor says, and Kazoto immediately asks,

"How did you learn Reality Breakdown? There aren't any masters of it left." Viktor, surprised, replies,

"I'll tell you once we're out of here... but for now, we better run. The guards have definitely sensed that something's up." They quietly slip out of the hideout and run through the dark alleys towards Viktor's house.

On the way, Kazoto notices Gamble with Kaido and Elias and decides to approach them. Viktor hides Miki behind a building and follows the boys.

"What are you guys doing here?" Gamble asks, to which Kaen responds,

"We have a lead on the sword." As Kaido leaves the shop, he notices Kazoto. Kaido freezes, and Elias, surprised, says,

"That's strange," blushing and hiding behind Gamble.

"The sword is hidden in the terrorists' hideout in this city. Not the main one, so I don't know where exactly," Viktor says, putting his hands in his pockets.

"And who are you?" Gamble asks, and Viktor introduces himself,

"I'm Viktor Izumi. I'm helping the boys find the sword." Shocked, Gamble asks, "Iz... Izumi? There's only one family with that surname in the world."

"What's your point?" Viktor asks, as Gamble thinks.

"KAEN! STAY ALERT!" a familiar voice shouts, as Kaen catches an apple. Surprised, Kaen looks to see who threw it. It was Hana, walking with Hana and a tied-up Akira, who is muttering something under his breath.

"Good God, Akira... what happened to you?" Gamble says, horrified, as he notices Akira's slicked-back hair instead of its usual mess. With tears in his eyes, Akira says,

"They forced me... you can't argue with her." Aki, rubbing her nose, says,

"Female power, my dear."

"That's why women are scary," Gamble says, hiding behind Elias.

"Akira?" Viktor says, shedding a tear. When Akira notices Viktor, he screams,

"GHOSTS! DAMN IT!" Akira, in fear, breaks the rope and hides behind the shop wall.

Gamble seems to have figured something out and says,

"You're Mrs. Kaede's husband!" Everyone looks slightly shocked at Viktor. "Those bastards," Viktor says with anger on his face before turning and running off somewhere. Akira chases after him, shouting,

"Kaen, Kazoto, come on!" Kaen and Kazoto run with Akira, while Gamble sighs and says,

"Maybe we should take that body he left behind." Gamble points to Mai lying in the alley.

When Viktor reaches the park, he jumps high into the air, and as he starts to fall, he surrounds himself with an aura and causes an explosion. When the dust settles, Akira notices a large crater.

"Don't let him play with children," Kazoto says. Akira jumps into the crater, followed by Kazoto and Kaen shortly after. When Akira spots Viktor, he notices a sword embedded in the stone. Kaen looks around and sees people hiding. Kazoto activates his Raigan, and Kaen draws his katana.

"Why are we here?" Akira asks, and Viktor responds,

"They lied to me for ten damn years. There was no labyrinth, and there weren't multiple bases." Suddenly, Viktor gets hit by a shuriken.

"So, we need to kill you now?" a mysterious male voice says.

Viktor pulls the shuriken out of his arm and destroys it in his hand. In a voice full of anger, he says,

"May your spirit be cursed." Everyone around feels an immense pressure. Kaen and Kazoto fall to their knees, gasping for breath. However, Akira stands as if nothing is happening, just like the man who jumps towards Viktor. The man has long black hair and is wearing an elegant kimono. "

We could have lived in peace," he says, but Viktor, drawing his sword, recites a spell,

"Demonic blade, become your heavenly punishment." The man, frightened, jumps back and pulls out two nunchaku.

"Predictable as ever—" the man doesn't finish as Akira stabs a rod into his back. After a moment, he pulls it out and, surrounding his hand with sharp mana, plunges it into the man and pulls out his heart.

"Take the sword. I'll destroy this place. Fox Guy, take Akira to my house. We need to talk," Viktor says. A moment later, Akira, Kaen, and Kazoto leap out of the hideout.

"Lead the way. I hope there's a bath," Akira says, ruffling his hair. Kaen stops and asks,

"Who is Viktor, anyway?" Akira adjusts his scarf and, with a smile, says,

"The man who saved me from a curse. And Hana's father."

"Alright, so where's the sword?" Kazoto asks, and a moment later, Viktor strikes a nearby building.

"Viktor, what happened? You were supposed to kill me," says a mysterious female voice.

Akira summons his sword and shouts,

"Looks like the lady's getting worse at attacking... him," Akira says, and suddenly, a woman stabs a sword into Akira's back from nowhere.

"Do we know each other, sweetie?" the woman says, licking blood off her cheek, while Akira, smiling, turns his head.

"I don't frequent brothels," he says, then quickly spins to strike the woman, breaking her sword in the process.

The woman vanishes.

"So you still have the strength to break a legendary sword," she says, stepping out of the smoke.

Kaen notices that the building she emerged from wasn't there before.

"Are you perhaps from the Ashuu family?" Kaen asks, pointing his sword at her.

Kazoto, picking up his sword, says,

"Smoke, huh?"

The woman restores her sword and says,

"Fire and lightning versus smoke?"

Kazoto, taking off his jacket with a grin, shouts,

"Uzumaki ver. 2!"

Almost instantly, a massive vortex surrounds Kazoto, and his Raigan starts shifting color to blue-green.

"Hey... Kima... do you remember these words?

Space,

Seven Heavens,

Creation,

Reality Breakdown."

The woman, who turns out to be named Kima, breaks the sword's blade and drives it into Viktor's shoulder, causing him to collapse to the ground.

The whirlwind dies down. Kazoto, smiling, says,

"Finally, I'll use this in a fight... Clouded Eye!"

He then opens his left eye, causing a powerful gust of wind.
