Soon the day to pay their respects to Xiao Hua's parents arrived. Yu Dong dressed in a solemn and pastel pair of shirt and pants, while she looked at Mammy Lin who was stuffing the things that she had prepared for cleaning the grave in the corner of the carriage.

Yu Dong nodded as she said to Mammy Lin, "We did not forget anything did we?"

"I do not believe so, Madam Yu," Mammy Lin replied with a light shake of her head. "I have already prepared everything according to the list that you handed. Not to mention the things that were prepared for Master Hua's dowry are also placed in the carriages behind this one. You can take them to the graveyard and have them blessed by the parents of Master Hua."

"You have worked hard, Mammy Lin," Yu Dong patted the old woman on the shoulder in praise. After all, the things that Xiao Hua's Daddy wrote in the list were not easy to find. "Everything is ready." Yu Dong smiled as she pointed at the carriages behind her. "From your dowry to the things that we need to place at the graves. I have prepared everything."

This was small? If this was small then the Emperor who got his hands on a pearl the same size as this would roll in his grave!

"You know, Ah Dong. You are very lucky that you are marrying me," Xiao Hua remarked causing Yu Dong to hum. She tilted her head not understanding what he meant and Xiao Hua sighed. If someone else other than him was marrying Yu Dong, then he was afraid that that mer would have ruined Yu Dong.

How could she be so carelessly doting? Just because he frowned she was thinking of buying a Pearl that was bigger than this one!

"He is right," Ye Liu who was leaning on the back door of the house looked at his wife and nodded. "You are fortunate that your husbands are understanding and smart, or else you will have even lost your pants."

What Xiao Hua did not know was that Yu Dong for the sake of equality actually brought six Moon Light Pearls! She ended up wasting one million taels causing Shen Li to almost faint with high blood pressure, it was only when Shen Li screamed at the top of his lungs and told Yu Dong that they did not need betrothal gifts to make up for what they did not get, did Yu Dong stop.

Xiao Hua and Ye Liu: "…" They will have to pay attention to this woman. If this goes on then she would pamper them rotten.

"You all, what are you doing? Why haven't you left yet?" Shen Li who was carrying his sons on the front and back while bobbing them up and down, looked at Xiao Hua and Yu Dong. "Do you want to come back in the evening or not? Dong Dong, you know that our sons will start fussing if you do not return."

Though the two boys did not show any affection towards Yu Dong when she was with them, when she went away, they would start whining and yelling.

Shen Li was not even looking forward to the rest of the day because he knew that once Yu Dong was gone, his son would eat his head with all their crying!
