The first time Master Yuan saw his wolves after they descended the mountains, the pure white wolf was covered with mud so thick that it looked black while the black wolf was so dirty that he did not even resemble a wolf but a small mountain of mud!

If not for the fact that Master Yuan was saving water, these two wolves could have forgotten about keeping their fur as he would have to shave them for the sake of keeping them clean. Fortunately, these mutts were lucky that he adored them or else he would have shaved them and let them walk naked!

The two wolves lowered their heads, Master Yuan did not know whether they understood him or not but he huffed. These two only knew how to act childish whenever they did something wrong. He snorted and then started to comb the fur of the wolves again.

His eyes brightened when he saw the eagle that was raised by his wife and he immediately threw the comb to the side before raising his arm. The eagle noticing this, swooped down as it stretched its wing far and wide before reaching out its claws. Soon the eagle landed safely on Master Yuan's arm who rubbed the back of the eagle with his forefinger.

"It took you a lot of time to find me huh ?" Master Yuan was pleased that his wife had finally found him. He was worried that his wife was looking for him everywhere. Now that her eagle had found him safe and sound, he could finally relay to his wife that she did not need to worry about him.

With that thought in his mind, Master Yuan undid the letter that was tied to the leg of the eagle, however as soon as he unfurled the scroll…the smile on his face stiffened and the reason behind it was ——

[Hao'er, I heard that you are staying in a village. From what I was told, the village grows a lot of good things, even the ice candies and jams are really good. If you do not mind, can you send some for me? I really liked the raspberry ice candy, if you are going to send some please send more of these. And oh, some strawberries too.

This woman only remembered him because she wanted him to send her strawberries and whatnot!

"Shao Tengfei!" Master Yuan screamed angrily. His voice echoed in the village causing many villagers to stiffen and look in the direction of the Yu family. What was this? Why was Master Yuan screaming all of a sudden?

"Ah, are you here?" Shen Li looked at Yu Dong who returned from the greenhouse. "Is everything fine?" He asked while nursing his two sons, next to the twins, Yu Jin and Bo Bo were lying with a curious expression on their faces.

"I am back and everything is fine," Yu Dong patted Shen Li on the head while turning to look at Fang Chi who was knitting another sweater. It seemed like he was making one for the twins. Her gaze followed the trail of wool on the floor and found two white balls.

However, soon she realized that it was not white balls. At the foot of the bed, Little Lamb and Little Calf were sleeping, their stance rather protective as if they were guarding Shen Li.

Yu Dong's eyes softened as she looked at the warm sight in front of her. In the past, when she returned home after working her shift, all that was waiting were her brothers who were either hungry or injured. Before coming to this place, she did not even know that there could be a warmth like such.

"How was it?" Fang Chi placed the knitting needles down and turned to look at Yu Dong. "Were there a lot of guests?" He thought that Yu Dong would be back in a few hours but she did not. It made him wonder if there was a lot of crowd.

"Indeed," Yu Dong sighed as she sat down on the bed and looked down at her two sons. She had never seen boys born in this world and hated to admit that even with her and Shen Li's good looks, their features were a bit too strong.

Shen Li knew what was going on in her head. He chuckled and then stated, "You are the only one who thinks that they should have soft features. Others want their sons to have masculine features as much as possible."

"I am not disappointed," she said to Shen Li lest the latter thought that she was upset with the birth of sons. "It's just that I am used to living with mers and women. This is the only reason I find it a bit difficult nothing more."

Now that a few days had passed, the boys' features were a bit clearer than the day when they were born. At least they no longer looked like wrinkled red monkeys as Yu Mai called them.

Shen Li snorted. He picked up his eldest son and said to him, "It's alright, Daddy loves you more. So what if your mother is a sucker for her mer sons?"

"Hey! What are you telling them!?" Yu Dong rolled her eyes as she said to her two sons, "Your daddy is a big fat liar, don't listen to him."

The two boys however glanced at Yu Dong as if annoyed with her before turning to look at Shen Li and giggling. It was clear who was the favourite already!
