Yet I'm stuck in the messy politics of the True Elements Society.

Meeting Hall:

The old man, Alec, stares at Elder Milo with an intent gaze.

He said, "I know what you are up to?"

"If you are truly called for this meeting to seek justice. I'll send someone to fetch your Debt students here. I will know whether they were lying or not by using my magic," He added.

Hearing that Milo's face turned solemn. He knew this would happen. That's why he had used the "Palace Masters" card.

"If you are that scared, why don't we ask Vincent Carey to come? Elder Alec can use his magic to check the version of Vincent's statement," Paul Lin said all of a sudden.

Hearing this everyone was surprised. They didn't expect Paul Lin to say this. Which shows he was confident in his side.

Milo furrowed his eyes further. He suddenly thought of something.

"Elderly, the newcomer named Vincent Carey has been behaving suspiciously, regarding the killer Transmutation Wizard's matter."

"So there are more chances that kid is lying. Why don't we request Elder Bob from the Rule and Order Department."

"His Magic is more powerful than you. You can only detect lies. But he can even visualize the scenes by using the magic," Milo said.

"Bob," Alec's eyes flickered.

Suddenly, someone entered the room, surprising everyone.

When everyone saw that person. They immediately turned to Milo.

"Elder Bob, what are you doing here?" old man Alec asked.

Bob is another old man who is working in the Rule and Order Department as well. But his affiliation is towards the Aristocratic Faction.

Bob appears to be an old man in his sixties. He is slightly obese. But his actual age is very old. Just like others in this room, he is a level-9 Wizard as well.

"Alec, I was supposed to be here. But I heard you went ahead of me," Bob said with a smile.

But people in this room can tell that it was not a coincidence. Only Milo had a smile on his face.

"So he had a backhand," Aaron eases down his eyebrows. For a second, he thought he was supporting an idiot.

If they get someone from the Rule and Order Department on their side. Then the meeting would end up in their favor.

"But you are not the head of the Rule and Order Department," old man Alec asked.

"Oh common, Head Reenie is currently not here. So we council elders under her have to make important decisions jointly," Bob said before bringing a chair out of nowhere and sitting right next to Old Man Alec.

"This is going to be troublesome," Paul thought.

The Rule and Order Department is neutral. Just like the Intelligence Department. But if the Head is not here, then the elders can make certain decisions on behalf of her.

"Interesting," Stella said in her heart. She looked at her watch and thought about the special task assigned to Vincent Carey.

She has yet to send any orders so far. Because she doesn't know where the meeting is heading. So she thinks it's safe for Vincent to stay inside the Special Mage Department.

Quiet!

The whole place is quieted down. Old Man Alec is controlling his anger. Whereas Bob is smiling ear to ear. There is one person who is happy about his arrival.

The person is none other than Milo. He was the one who made him come.

"So, can we get to the topic," Bob asked with a serious expression. Like he is going to hear it for the first time.

"Elder Bob, I'll tell you everything from the start," After saying that Milo started to tell.

Paul's eyes flash with a cold glint. He thought the meeting would end without any result. Elder Reenie is not present here. Which came as a surprise.

"Don't tell me the Aristocratic Families were behind this? " Paul thought.

It's because the Head of the Department won't leave the Organisation unless something major happens.

Looking at the sudden appearance of Elder Bob, he can feel something fishy.

When Milo finished the explanation. Elder Bob swept his eyes across everyone. Unlike Alec, he doesn't have a beard. He doesn't look calm and serene. Rather his piercing gaze is making everyone afraid.

Though everyone here is level-9 Wizard. But there is a difference in spell power and Combat capability.

"Elder Milo, don't worry. I will personally go and interrogate the kid. I hope your words are correct. If not you will face the consequences," Bob said in a righteous tone.

"How can you decide on your own?" Old man Alec asked, clearly feeling that Bob was siding with Elder Milo.

"Just like you, I have decided to interrogate that kid first," Bob said, smirkingly.

"You," Alec uttered in anger.

"Ha...Ha...Ha.., I support Elder Bob. We should interrogate that kid first. Elder Milo is the one who called for this meeting. I don't think it's right to interrogate those 3 young Beast Tamers first"

"Let's start with the accused kid," Aaron said with a small laugh.

Hearing that the other elders started to state their opinion one after another. Like the previous meeting, they have decided to choose based on the majority.

But unlike the last time, this time, there is a majority on the sides of the Aristocratic Faction. The Neutral Faction Elders decide to support them.

Elder Samson who was present in the last meeting, his face turned ugly. He is one the side of the Head of the Organisation.

He can now confirm that Aristocratic Families are adamant about eliminating that kid. They have gone too far this time. Even arranging this meeting for the sake of their purpose.
