The following day,

After getting ready, I left the dorm building and hurriedly stride towards the Floating building. I have a feeling that today will be busy.

"Elder Paul told me about that council elders meeting yesterday. I wonder whether it's going to be today or not," I thought.

I arrived at the entrance of the Floating Building. After scanning my ID, I walked inside. The place appears serene and calm. I immediately thought of Dimitry.

Thinking about him I couldn't help but shake my head in disappointment. He succeeded in dragging me into a trap yesterday. If not for Elder Paul Lin's arrival, things could have gone worse.

But after having that conversation with him last night. My heart is at peace. Soon, I arrived at the lecture hall. I walked inside. I spotted only a few of them.

As usual, my appearance has caused them to look towards me. I gently nodded to them as I walked towards the last row of seats.

"Hey, he is doing fine lately. Looks like the other departments have forgotten about him."

"Yeah, I heard that as well. Not even the bloodline beast department wizards are troubling him."

"I wonder what he did to convince them. "

The classmates started discussing in a low tone. But they don't know that Vincent Carey can listen to their words.

Deep down, he knows that it could be a lie. The Beast Tamers were the ones who went after Vincent Carey. This involves the Clonius Family. So he won't tell outsiders about it.

Especially someone to the Perry Family Member.

Aaron Perry sneered inwardly. He was well aware that the Beast Taming Department had a large number of wizards from the Aristocratic Families.

As far as he knows, the Clonius Family was involved as well. But he won't go deep into it. It does not serve his interest.

The Council Elders appeared one after another. None of them were happy about it. Because of the topic of the meeting their blood boils.

The council elders meeting is not the place for sorting out the troubles between the 2 Magic Departments. Even if someone commits a crime, then they will be taken care of by the Department of Rules and Order.

But these elders can only keep their opinions in their hearts. They can't speak against the 3 Major Departments in the Organisation. Especially they got Powerful Palace Masters behind them.

As time passes, more and more people appear. Milo and Aaron appeared as well. These 2 people's appearance caused quite a surprise. They couldn't help but smell some conspiracy. They each sat in their seats without much noise.

Shortly afterwards,

Elder Stella appeared. Upon seeing Elder Aaron and Milo, she smiled. She greeted everyone before sitting on her seat.
