Chapter 23: TO BE THARWED
Using the chance he got when Elsa looked away, Sven raises his long heafty up from his side, curling the tip it did.
Quickly, while she still hasn't turned back, the dragon slams the ice queen to the ground, keeping her pinned there, laying face up to the sky.
As a result of this, the fire and ice stream of powers abruptly get cut off entirely.
The whole movement was so fast, Elsa felt her breath get knocked away from her body as the heavy weight of Sven's tail lay across her chest.
"ELSA!!!!"
She could faintly hear Anna's voice, faintly; the heat peeling at her seemed to be stripping her of her senses.
Except her sense of touch.
Heat, waves of heat was passing from the dragon's tail to her, as it glowed.
It's tail was burning her, digging into her arms and chest.
She tried to sit up but couldn't so she pressed her palms on the tail sitting on her sending out streams of ice.
And nothing came out.
Nothing.
Elsa's left shoulder jerked in shock as she raised her palms over her face to look at them.
Her palms were sweating and her eyebrows pinched together in disbelief; her palm NEVER sweated.
Moving fast, panicking, she spread her arms beside her, pressing her palms down on the earth to freeze it
But again…
She let out a choked sob sound; her magic…
It was gone.
There was was no time to mourn though, the earth was thumping and the little rocks around her were rattling.
Propping herself on her elbows, she saw the dragon coming closer to her, all while keeping her pinned down.
Her eyes fell to his large expanse of chest— that was glowing with embers of fire within and then back at the glowing tail— that was glowing in a bright orange colour underneath its dull skin— on her chest.
… And gasped, saying some words aloud to herself.
"When fire meets with ice, the ice gets tharwed."
She gasped again and renched, pushing to move the tail off her with all her might.
But it didn't bulge.
Instead the heat ends up digging into her palms, causing the entire length of her arms to turn red and swollen.
Without her ice powers to protect her, waves of pain stretch through her entire body.
And she groans, wincing and twisting, shoving and beating at the tail, trying to get away from the heat of the flames coming from it.
Another wave of pain hits her and she whimpers.
Then there is a huge roar, a mighty screech, a whirling scream, and a loud pained neigh from far off.
Each of the agonising sounds reache everyone's ears there at Arendelle and many, actually, all of them press their hands to their ears, needing to block out the painful and loud sounds.
The sounds were all coming from outside of Arendelle, from the four spirits that were at the enchanted forest.
All of the them, the earth spirit, the fire spirit, the wind spirit and the water spirit were feeling Elsa's pain.
Then the dragon's shadow loomed over her and it bent its head down till it and her were on eye level with each other.
Stopping in her movements, Elsa looked into its eyes— her own eyes glowing a bright blue— and saw the image of a reindeer in both.
No, how could that be?
"Svennn???"
It didn't respond, just opened its mouth wide in front of her face.
