Guo Heming felt a pang in his heart, sensing something wrong, and with controlled panic in his heartbeat, he lowered his voice and asked:

"My girlfriend?"

The woman nodded, both anxious and annoyed, asking, "What do we do?"

With a snap, the figurine slipped from her hands, and the bear shattered on the floor.
