Chapter 29: to be shocked
A girl named Scáthach cautiously followed Shikama Doji. Her instincts told her that following this being was good for her. Shikama Doji stopped in a snowy area, and suddenly, a golden light in the shape of a ring enveloped him. Scáthach watched the scene in amazement. Suddenly, the entire area began to tremble, as if an earthquake had occurred.
The mountains were destroyed and turned into flat land. The entire ten-kilometer area transformed into a smooth plain. A massive golden barrier surrounded the area, separating the ten-kilometer space from reality. Space-time was distorted, as if this place was no longer part of reality. Suddenly, trees and plants began to form, and the snowy region turned into a lush paradise. Scáthach stared in shock at the flowers beneath her feet.
The distortion of nature in this way had shocked her. It was as if a god had rewritten this area, or perhaps a being beyond a god. Although Scáthach knew nothing about gods, she was certain that the person before her was more powerful than any god. She cautiously stared at Shikama Doji and asked, "Who are you?"
Seeing Shikama Doji's power, her curiosity grew. Was he one of the gods of Asgard? Or an ancient being from the Nine Worlds? Shikama Doji replied in his usual gentle tone, "As I said before, I have many names. You can call me Shikama Doji, or perhaps you might know me better by my title, 'Divine Ancestor.'"
Scáthach's eyes narrowed upon hearing the words "Divine Ancestor." It was as if thunder had struck her being. She was stunned. She couldn't even imagine in her wildest dreams that this person was the "Divine Ancestor." She stammered, "You... you are the 'Divine Ancestor'?" This encounter was even more shocking to her than meeting Odin.
Shikama Doji laughed at Scáthach's reaction and said, "Seems like I'm a bit famous around here." He stared at Scáthach with an amused look, waiting for her response.
Scáthach quickly replied, "Of course! The beings of the worlds of Alfheim, Jotunheim, and Svartalfheim worship you. According to their legends, you created them. They even say you created the entire universe."
Shikama Doji said nonchalantly, "Well, forget about them." He raised his hand, and a massive mansion formed out of nothing. Then he took Scáthach's hand and they entered the mansion. Scáthach looked around the mansion with curiosity. Everything was very luxurious and magnificent.
Shikama Doji said, "The first thing we need to do is clean you up. As a lady, you should always be clean." He opened the bathroom door and, with a wave of his hand, Scáthach's clothes instantly disappeared. Scáthach was now naked, but she didn't feel embarrassed. It was as if she was standing before a woman.
Shikama Doji stared at her with a gentle gaze and said, "Get into the tub. I'll clean you." Scáthach obeyed and entered the tub. Shikama Doji began to clean her body. Did Shikama Doji feel anything towards Scáthach's naked body? The answer was no. After all these years, Shikama Doji had no human emotions left within him. Even in the early years of his existence in this world, he had no particular feelings. Now, he was even more indifferent. To him, Scáthach's body was just a piece of meat. Very few things could capture his attention.
Gently, Shikama Doji cleaned Scáthach's body. Warm water flowed over Scáthach's skin, and she felt a strange sense of relaxation, though she was still overwhelmed by Shikama Doji's power and presence.
