Eternal Cultivation: The rise to a Silent Peak

The ability seemed convenient and powerful. If I got a better grasp of it I would do a lot better. The moment Ying moved I knew what she was going to do, I knew all of her techniques because she showed me them in her past life, but I didn't want to seem suspicious to her. At the moment her blade swung towards me, flower petals formed almost as if they were created by the Qi she had. Viewing it they were sharp so touching any one of them would lead to a cut. Moving to the side I swung my hand slashing at her legs, well not directly, I pointed it at such an angle that a certain movement would've caused her to get hit and cut by it.

"You can Cultiva-"

She became quiet before completing her sentence realizing this becoming a lot happier, she moved landing on the ground as she felt her legs get slashed by the Qi. As soon as that happened I noticed a change in her eyes. It became brighter and more visible, I guess she had used Qi to make my slashes visible.

Before she could continue I rushed at her, though even when she attacked with her blade moving quickly to slice downwards I had already slid under her grabbing her legs making her fall face flat while also pushing my body up with my legs getting some air time landing right onto her blade so she couldn't lift it up. Moving down I grabbed her hands and threw her up and removed her grip on the sword she had before throwing. Jumping up I went higher than her and kicked down on her back just enough that she could feel it but also so she didn't get too hurt.

"ACK! O-Okay I give up!"

I looked at her and got off her and lifted her up with her rubbing her back. Before she left I gave her the sword with her. She smiled at me and waved while walking off as I looked ahead.

"The winner is Guo Jingsheng!"

I would've smiled at the people who were watching from outside the Arena and waved, as I left I heard people cheering in happiness, it felt weird having so many people support me. All while I saw Lady Zenos smiling softly trying to hide it. I guess even if someone becomes a God they keep their humanity.

Sitting down I leaned back thinking on the fights, I had won so easily, maybe it was because I've seen them fight before? No, I couldn't just counterattack like that, their attacks weren't like that and shouldn't have repeated the same as before. I doubted my actual abilities to fight them and thought maybe they were trying to hold back or something.

Suddenly I was lifted up by Ying and I looked over at her sighing wondering what she wanted.

"You know Sh- Guo, I've never heard you speak before, is there anything that's stopping you from doing so?"

I had completely forgotten she never knew why I couldn't speak, and thus couldn't help me learn then. I signed the fact I was born unable to speak and that I could only do so once I learned how too if someone else had taught me.

"Oooooh- Okay, well I've been wondering... Do you still live with your parents? I want to meet them once more!"

I smiled nodding that I was fine with that, As the rounds continued I relaxed and then finally they had called me once more. But this time the people who were sitting here diminished, those who lost left and those who were still here stayed. I was in the semi-finals so this was going to get really hard for me.

"Next fight is between Guo Jingsheng and Li Jianru!"

I got up walking through the Corridor as I went to my side, I looked over to see a man, one who was the same height, he seemed cold, he held what was to be a whip, his hair was white so he was clearly training with the Ice Element. His clothing was formal and that of people who were powerful and rich, I didn't mind something like that. It wasn't something I should care about.

"Be ready, Because you will lose..."

I was already cautious but his words made me more cautious, Suddenly I felt the wind move and I turned as he appeared next to me and then had swung his whip, Grabbing it I felt my hand bleed from the Qi piercing it but I didn't care and pulled him closer as he looked surprised with him being dragged to me as I threw a punch at his chin letting go of the chain, my punch connected with him and sent him up as he landed.

He looked shocked but also happy, I would've instinctively moved towards him, I enhanced my speed after a second with Qi dashing right past him only to stop and skidding across the ground before launching myself up, As he threw up the chain which tracked my movement I grabbed it once more and pulled him up throwing him into the sky but then grabbing his head pulling him down hitting his forehead with my knee as I could hear a crack.

I let go of him while both of us landed, he looked dizzy and moved back falling off the Arena being disqualified, I would've sighed shaking my hand seeing the blood seeping out of it. But even then, my body healed nearly instantly as the wound closed up, forcing the blood cells to work overtime but keeping my brain normal.

"The Winner is Guo Jingsheng! After this fight will be the finals so Please wait here while watching the other two fight!"

I obliged while walking next to him but not too close. Watching the other two fight I felt a little worried since I wasn't able to keep up with one of them, and the one who was winning was her as well. I looked at myself, seeing my cultivation level was the same as her so it wouldn't be that unfair, but both of us got a lot closer to Qi Condensation by the end of the fight. If I finished this fight and won I might be able to reach it.

"The winner is Xiu Rui!"

As expected the lady had won. Walking over to my side while waiting for her to recover I felt something weird in me, I looked back and saw what seemed to be an injection as I took it out putting it into Shaper's inventory.

"Looks like it's between us. Hopefully you give a better fight than him, he didn't use any Techniques."

I smiled and then created multiple thin slashes in all directions from West to North and lastly at South, as she came in her body got hit by a barrage of slashes which went from Northwest as well to the other side. I would've ran at her increasing my jump height going above her flipping behind her and slamming my hand right onto her shoulder as her body moved, turning to grab it though I only pushed her back and forced her to fall over by sliding my leg across hers.

Because of this she let go of my arm as I landed above her head and instead of hitting it I would've tried to kick her stomach but instead she grabbed it with her pulling me down and jumping up onto her feet turning to attack. I would've rolled back getting up on my feet seeing her arm move back. I moved mine back as well with our fists connecting. As soon as it did I infused Qi into it with its force being just strong enough to hurt but not break her arm. From this she staggered back.

Before she could do anything else I had already gotten behind her and chopped at her neck causing her to pass out.

"The winner of this tournament is Guo Jingsheng!"

And then had the day finished, for the night was clean, we could see thousands of stars, And thus shooting stars moved through the skies. Before I could leave the Announcer had given me a bottle with multiple pills, this was probably to help stabilize my Qi so it can condense and also to enhance the amount of Qi I had. Leaving the Arena I saw Ying and jumped down next to get next to her as I waved at Lady Zenos so she could come over. But instead she wasn't there anymore, probably at home or left, I didn't mind if she had gone somewhere else.

"The stars are pretty aren't they...?"

I nodded as I saw her face with a smile. She then spoke of something new.

"You know, Everyone wishes to be a star, someone shining down being the top of everything, but... What is it like to be at the top?"
