Emptiness - Naruto SI

As my chest convulses in and out and my legs stay inverted like a twisted banana I cuss myself once again for accepting Guy's training. After displaying our sense of unity off of a brief test, he screamed about youth and decided to get weights for the remaining 2 of us(Rock Lee already trained with them before as he had met Guy beforehand given his matching attire).

Tenten and I like soul-sisters in heaven can only collectively and synchronizing sigh at the same time. 

It has been a long year. 

That's right, we're skipping the grudge work because we're all lazy fucks reading this in the quiet of our rooms with nothing to do, but reading about practice ain't one of them. Allen Iverson was Right.

In his trademark grin that seems to split heaven and earth apart and a teeth that shine too brightly for 10 AM on a Saturday morning, Might Guy screams: "YOSH MY DEAR STUDENTS, I HAVE AN ANNOUNCEMENT!"

As we continue to huff and puff from our final exercise, I smile in relief, for I know what's coming

He continues: "I Understand your Excitement young ninja and Finally, After all our time together, it's time for the Chunin Exams to take place! Ebizo I can see your Youth is Ready to be Set on Fire! Why not join Rock and I in our Extra training session."

He gives me a knowing look that screams I know you won't but I'm too old to take this hypothetical bait. In this cruel ninja world, Guy feels like a master of deception with his ability to read people like me. I'm always better off with honesty.

Me: "No thanks, Guy, I literally need a break. I think we're all Special Jonin already to be honest, but you never know what could happen in the Chunin Exams so I appreciate you making us train to make certain of this"

And for all intents and purposes that was the only thing we could do other than upgrading or making advances in shape manipulation in water using the chakra available in spare time, we trained for 8-10 hours at times. So often that I, the training nut, was exhausted from training. I Needed a break.

As we received our invitations and had a discussion amongst ourselves, I wander over to the scene where Naruto met Gaara for thev= first and hide in the background along with the Oto-nim. I make sure to note their presence but away from their sight. 

Luckily Canon remains afoot, only with Sasuke could a minor change occurred by teaching him tree-walking but luckily nothing has changed, just like I wished for. 

I'll also have to make sure to have Lee fall for Sakura so we can come save them in the forest because Sakura might end up dying. 

For now, I'll get some Rest.
