Dimensional Kaguya Ōtsutsuki

Chapter 565: I’m Really Strong, You Know

Matasaka Kamishiro paused for a moment, then burst into wild laughter. "How amusing! A mere human with no sense of their own insignificance. Do you really think your pathetic attack from earlier is enough to defeat me?"

As he spoke, Matasaka's gaze grew sharper. With a faint sound, an enormous, crimson kagune tail emerged from his back. The glowing particles of his kagune shimmered like rippling water, radiating a bewitching glow.

"Oh, is that your tail?" Kaguya said with mock surprise. "I didn't expect you to be an unevolved primate."

"A primate?" Matasaka's expression darkened.

"Or perhaps a gorilla with a tail?" Kaguya blinked innocently as she teased.

"Are you stupid? Why would you provoke him like that?" Koutarou Amon rushed over, his face filled with urgency. "He's not someone you can handle. Leave this place now. If it's me, I can buy you some time. Otherwise—"

Before he could finish, Kaguya raised her hand and struck the side of his neck with a clean chop. "Thunk!" Amon collapsed to the ground, his body limp. His wide, disbelieving eyes seemed to ask why she had turned on him.

"Too much chatter," Kaguya said, frowning with impatience. "Doesn't he know villains die because they talk too much? What an idiot. Good thing I didn't catch whatever he's got."

Matasaka laughed coldly as he stepped forward. "Arrogant little girl, I have to admit—what he said earlier is true. If you'd run, you might have had a chance to live. But instead, you've chosen death."

"Who's dying isn't set in stone," Kaguya said with a playful smile.

"Hmph."

Matasaka snorted disdainfully, stomping his foot into the ground. In a flash, he surged toward her with explosive speed, closing the gap in an instant.

"Spray!"

With a furious roar, Matasaka's arm tensed, and he unleashed a barrage of punches. Each strike blurred into countless overlapping shadows, a storm of fists aimed directly at Kaguya.

Yet, faced with this overwhelming assault, Kaguya remained calm. Her lips curled into a confident smile as she assumed a stance she hadn't used in years. With a soft breath, she spoke.

"Gentle Fist: Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms."

As her words echoed, a storm of chakra-laden palm strikes erupted from her hands, breaking through the air with astonishing precision.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The sound of fists and palms colliding filled the space in rapid succession, too fast for the eye to follow. Only blurred afterimages could be seen, a whirlwind of strikes.

"What?!"

Matasaka's face twisted in shock as he realized every one of his attacks was being blocked.

The technique he called "Spray" was renowned for its fierce, rapid flurry of strikes. It was a style built for overwhelming speed and relentless ferocity. In his experience, few could confront it directly; even Kishou Arima had opted to avoid its full force.

Yet this human girl was deflecting every blow with ease.

What Matasaka didn't realize was that under Kaguya's enhanced visual perception, every move he made was laid bare. Her superior insight dissected his attacks down to their smallest movements, reducing his lightning-fast punches to the speed of a snail. To others, his strikes might have been unavoidable, but to her, they were meaningless.

"Didn't anyone ever tell you?" Kaguya said, her voice tinged with amusement. "You shouldn't let your mind wander during a fight."

A melodious voice suddenly echoed in the air.

With a muffled "bang," the incoming palm strike deflected Matasaka's fist, leaving his chest wide open.

Matasaka's heart sank. Damn it.

He tried to turn and defend, but it was too late. A barrage of palm strikes was already closing in.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

The relentless flurry of strikes rained down on Matasaka's body, each blow landing with a heavy, resounding thud. His form jerked back and forth as if he were a sieve. The chakra-infused energy coursed through him, piercing into his body like countless sharp arrows.

With a final resounding "bang," Matasaka was sent flying like a broken doll, crashing heavily to the ground. He tumbled several times before coming to a stop.

"Looks like I've gotten a bit rusty after not using this for so long," Kaguya said, exhaling as she steadied herself. She lightly tapped her chin with her pale fingers, reflecting on her performance.

"Come to think of it, the first offensive skill I ever learned was this Hyūga clan's Gentle Fist," she murmured. "Honestly, while it's not particularly impressive, especially in the later stages, where it becomes borderline useless—even against a Ten-Tails' clone, you'd need dozens of strikes to make an impact. No wonder Neji, my dear little brother-in-law, met such a tragic end in the original story."

She sighed. "Still, for dealing with a ghoul from this world, it seems to do the job just fine."

"You're a disappointment," Matasaka said as he stood up, his expression icy and stoic. "I thought you had some formidable technique, but it turns out it's just soft and feeble. There's no strength to it at all. Did you really think such an attack could defeat me? Looks like I was wrong to expect so much from a mere human. Clearly, I—"

Before he could finish, his pupils suddenly contracted, and a flush of unnatural redness spread across his face. He dropped to his knees, eyes wide open, as blood sprayed from his throat.

"Who said a soft and feeble technique couldn't cause harm?" Kaguya strolled toward him, a mocking smile on her face. "A frog at the bottom of a well like you dares to make such bold claims. Honestly, I'm worried for your future."

What's happening?!

Matasaka's bloodshot eyes bulged as he knelt, his arms trembling as they tried to support him. His face was filled with disbelief.

That palm strike… It felt like it had no power. How could it cause such devastation?

He could clearly feel his internal organs rupturing, his blood seeming to congeal in his veins. If not for his ghoul physique and regenerative abilities, he would already be lying dead in a pool of his own blood.

Could it be…?

Matasaka's pupils shrank further as he lifted his gaze, locking onto the black-haired girl standing nearby with a playful smile.

"I underestimated you," he said as he struggled to his feet, his sharp gaze fixed on Kaguya. "I admit your strength. But that doesn't mean you can defeat me. You still have a long way to go before you can."

Thanks to the unique resilience and regenerative power of ghouls, Matasaka's wounds were already starting to heal, albeit slowly. For an SS-class ghoul like him, ordinary attacks were rarely fatal. Though Kaguya's strikes had caused significant internal damage, they weren't enough to incapacitate him completely.

Still, Kaguya had no intention of relying solely on Gentle Fist to finish the job. She hadn't even used much chakra—just enough to toy with him. If she had taken it seriously, even an ordinary Gentle Fist strike could have turned Matasaka into a bloody pulp.

"Such stubborn denial," Kaguya said, her lips curling into a sly smile. "But let me tell you a little secret."

She winked, her bright eyes gleaming with mischief.

"I'm really, really strong."

"Are you kidding me?!"

Matasaka roared furiously. Stomping the ground, he shot forward like an arrow leaving the bowstring, lightning-fast. Swinging his massive arm, he aimed an uppercut infused with a fierce gust of wind, releasing it with a loud "bang" as it tore through the air.

As his punch launched, the violent gusts howled, creating an illusion as if the air itself had been ripped apart.

This was Matasaka's most powerful move. By channeling all his strength into his fist, the attack delivered overwhelming power and speed—something only an SS-class ghoul like him could achieve. It was the same move that, in the original story, had knocked out Ken Kaneki in one strike.

Kaguya swiftly retreated, dodging the overwhelming force of the blow. Her long hair fluttered in the wind created by the punch. With a playful smirk, she said, "How childish. Is this your limit? Such a pathetic game of pretend."

What?!

Matasaka's eyes narrowed, and a look of anger flashed across his face. Gritting his teeth, his already muscular arms swelled even larger as he pushed his power to the limit. Taking a quick step forward, he closed the distance between himself and Kaguya, roaring, "You insolent brat, lie down already!"

Before he could finish, Matasaka unleashed another flurry of punches, the shadows of his fists raining down like a violent storm.

"Lie down?" Kaguya's eyes filled with disdain as she scoffed, "The only thing that can make me lie down is a beautiful woman in her prime. You? With that lopsided, grotesque face of yours? You're better off staying hidden to avoid scaring people."

She shifted into a stance, her gaze sharpening. With a low voice, she uttered, "Rotation."

Bang!

A thunderous impact reverberated through the air.

The figure was sent flying like a cannonball, crashing into a wall with a concave chest and blood streaming from their mouth and nose.

"What... what is this?"

Matasaka's face was filled with disbelief as he struggled to speak.

Just moments ago, the girl had suddenly performed a strange movement, spinning rapidly. Before his fists could even reach her, he was struck with tremendous force and sent flying. He had never encountered such a technique before.

"What... uh..."

A sudden, painful groan broke through the air.

Both combatants turned in confusion, their attention drawn to the source of the sound. Amon had somehow managed to sit up, clutching his neck with a pained expression, his face contorted in agony. It was clear Kaguya's earlier blow had been far from gentle.

Noticing their gazes, Amon turned his head and accidentally locked eyes with Kaguya. His face froze, still somewhat dazed and confused.

Without a word, Kaguya walked over with an expressionless face, rolled up her sleeve, and delivered a punch to his stomach.

"Pfft—"

Amon's eyes widened as he spat out a mouthful of saliva, his face pale. With a loud "thud," he collapsed back onto the ground, unconscious once again.

"How disgusting."

Kaguya wrinkled her nose in distaste, nudging the unconscious Amon aside with her foot.

Matasaka, observing the scene from a distance, froze in disbelief.

"Alright," Kaguya said as she turned back toward him. "It's time to finish this. Although your strength is pitiful, you've provided me with some amusement. As thanks, I'll show you what real martial arts look like."

She struck a ready stance, focusing her energy. After a moment, her serious demeanor shifted, and she suddenly raised her head. "Wait a second," she said abruptly.

Wait?!

Matasaka, already braced for an attack and wearing a serious expression, faltered in confusion, unsure what she was up to.

In the blink of an eye, Kaguya disappeared from her position in the distance and reappeared right in front of Matasaka.

Matasaka's pupils contracted, and his heart skipped a beat.

"So fast!"

He had thought his speed was impressive, but hers was beyond his imagination. She closed the distance in a blink, a speed he couldn't hope to match.

Instinctively, he swung a punch at her, his reflexes taking over.

But to his shock, when his fist connected, there was no resistance—it was a mere afterimage.

Damn it!

His heart sank as he twisted his body, trying to counterattack, but before he could react, a hand knife descended toward the back of his head.

With a muffled "bang," Matasaka froze, his entire body locking up. His eyes dimmed, and with a heavy "thud," he collapsed to the ground.

Kaguya strolled over, prodding the unconscious Matasaka with her foot a few times. Placing her hands on her hips, she smirked triumphantly. "Let me tell you, real martial arts are all about sneak attacks." There wasn't a hint of embarrassment on her face.

To Kaguya, any method was acceptable as long as it secured victory. Principles? Morals? She had long since discarded such notions. Earlier, she had toyed with him out of curiosity, but now that she was bored, she had no qualms about ending it swiftly.

As for Matasaka, despite being an SS-class ghoul, it was clear he had been utterly humiliated. Defeated by such a simple tactic, he truly looked pitiful.

But that wasn't Kaguya's concern.

Just as she turned to leave, a shadow lunged out from the darkness and pounced on her back.

Startled, Kaguya instinctively prepared to counterattack, but she froze as a soft, firm sensation pressed against her back. What is this feeling?

Kaguya quickly turned her head, her eyes widening in surprise.

In front of her stood a mesmerizing girl. Her violet hair cascaded softly over her shoulders, her delicate eyelashes framing a pair of luminous eyes, and her smooth, fair skin giving her an almost otherworldly elegance.

She looks familiar.

Kaguya's expression faltered as a memory surfaced in her mind.

If her guess was correct, this enchanting girl clinging to her back was none other than...

"Rize Kamishiro."

Rize didn't seem to hear Kaguya's words—or perhaps she wasn't fully conscious. Her eyes were hazy, her body soft and limp as she clung to Kaguya's back. Her delicate arms wrapped around Kaguya's neck, and warm breaths brushed against Kaguya's ear.

What is going on here?

If Kaguya weren't fully alert, she might have thought she was dreaming. In fact, the current situation didn't feel much different from a particularly vivid dream.

Rize's gaze remained misty as she smiled seductively. She extended her smooth, delicate tongue and gently licked Kaguya's cheek. Her hand slid downward, fingers closing firmly around Kaguya's chest, her palm molding to its curves with a steady, enticing grip, squeezing gently yet firmly.

Could this be... a lucky encounter?

The thought flashed through Kaguya's mind.

Could something this good really happen?

Just as Kaguya was lost in the sensation, Rize pressed herself tightly against her, her lips parting as she murmured faintly, "Meat... meat..."

"Rub?"

In her blissful daze, Kaguya's brain seemed to shut down, and she misheard Rize's words.

At that moment, Rize licked her lips, revealing her small, sharp fangs. Opening her mouth wide, she sank her teeth into Kaguya's neck.
