Chapter 252: Heavy rain.
"On my own?" Little Mykel asked and then he looked at everyone's poker face.
"Yes, but you don't have to worry because we are all staying here as well. You can find us if you miss us," Mykel answered as he nodded his head.
Little Mykel looked at the others and they were all putting and forcing smiles on their faces. It was so painful to do that because no matter how much blood they had spilled, no matter how dirty their hands were, lying to Little Mykel was the hardest thing they had ever done.
"Okay, do I have to live here from now on?" Little Mykel asked with his eyebrows raised.
"Yes, and just like this diary I wrote. I want you to make your own story from now on, and when you made your own diary with all the exciting things you experienced, you can show it to me," Mykel answered as he showed the diary in his left hand.
"I want to be like father," Little Mykel said in excitement.
"I'm so proud of you," Mykel said and hugged Little Mykel. "Become a great man like your father. Don't forget what I thought you," Mykel added.
"Yes! I won't forget!" Little Mykel nodded as he hugged Mykel back.
Mykel gently caressed Little Mykel's back and everyone could see the power inside Little Mykel was being taken by Mykel. They all looked away because they could no longer hold their tears, they didn't have the heart to look at him.
Mykel took Little Mykel's power and he erased Little Mykel's memories, every single memory. Mykel removed his hand from Little Mykel and then asked Amaryllis to put his childhood memories in Little Mykel's head. He then snapped his finger to move the time again.
"I found your son crying because he was lost, and we came to bring him back," Mykel said to the man.
"Mykel?! Oh my goodness..." A woman with long brown curly hair wearing an apron hurriedly ran toward Little Mykel and hugged him. "Thank you, sir," she said as she looked at Mykel.
"Is there anything we can do to repay you?" The man asked.
"There's no need for that," Mykel smiled as he shook his head. "We're all in the middle of something important so we will take our leave now," Mykel said and when he was about to leave the room, Little Mykel grabbed his leg.
"Mister, thank you for bringing me back home," Little Mykel said as he looked up at Mykel.
"You're welcome," Mykel smiled and gently caressed Little Mykel's head and made sure he didn't remember seeing Mykel in the first place. He then left after Little Mykel let go of him and closed the door behind him.
Everyone was looking at Mykel, but before they could look at his face, he rushed to leave the apartment. They followed him, but the only one who ran toward him was Elena and she didn't hesitate to pull Mykel and made him turn around so she could hug him.
She put Mykel's head on her shoulder so nobody could see his expression. She wrapped her arms around his head as her eyes glimmered in tears and tried to comfort Mykel.
Mykel couldn't hold it in anymore and he suddenly collapsed, but Elena stopped him from going down on his knees. Although they couldn't see his face, they could see his shoulders trembling and how his hands clenched.
"I remember what Mykel said to me back then," Sven said as he looked at the sky. "When a man cry, that's when he's on the lowest point in their life," Sven sniffled and tried not to cry.
"I hate this. I fucking hate this," Aurea said as she lowered her head and hid her face with her long hair. "Who's heartless enough to not cry when we see Mykel like that?" Aurea asked in a trembling voice as she sniffled.
Rozan snapped his finger and suddenly heavy rain poured into the city. Now that the rain was loud and heavy enough, nobody could hear or see who was crying.
"Mykel..." Elena paused. "Let's find a place to rest. We are all tired," Elena said as she wiped her eyes.
Mykel didn't respond for quite a while, and then he slowly lifted his head after he got a hold of himself. He sighed with his eyes closed, and then he nodded his head and went to find a hotel for them to stay in.
It took them a whole week to be able to move on, and none of them dared to bother Mykel. They gave him space and waited until he came to see them in person.
Everyone was eating their breakfast in the hotel's dining area, and they were worried that Mykel hadn't shown himself. When they were thinking of seeing him, Mykel joined them at the table with a cup of coffee and a cigarette in his hand.
"Good morning," Jeanne said as she smiled weakly at him. "How are you?" Jeanne asked nervously.
"I'm fine, I was busy with planning the past week," Mykel answered as he smoked his cigarette. "What about you? Why are you guys look so dreadful?" Mykel asked and took a sip of his coffee.
They silently stared at Mykel and realized they were all worried for nothing.
"Are you being serious?! So all this time you're not... ugh whatever," Aurea looked annoyed and frustrated. "Well, as long as you're back, there's nothing to be worried about," Aurea said.
Everyone silently ate their breakfast since they didn't want to start talking about the plan.
"After what you saw, have you realized what I'm trying to do now?" Mykel asked as he looked at his own reflection on the cup of coffee.
"You're trying to copy him," Elena answered as she looked at Mykel. "You're turning Little Mykel and make him Mykel Alester of this world. With that cycle and if he managed to reach at the point where we are right now, he will repeat it again," Elena explained as she grabbed the pack of cigarettes inside Mykel's suit and grabbed one.
"With that being said, if the cycle keep repeating itself, your existence is no longer his creation. You're your own creation, just like what he did," Elena said as she lit the cigarette. "Now we are understand why you think this is the only way, and even if we hate it, you're right. This is the only way to defeat him," Elena continued.
Mykel nodded his head and he was glad everyone understood without him having to explain everything.

"But I have a question though," Rozan raised his hand. "Are we really fine to stay here? Isn't it dangerous if we stay here for too long?" Rozan asked and looked at Mykel.
"If The Lord from our world can't interfere with us and can't manipulate our lives since we're not his creations, what makes it different here?" Shelly asked back. "I believe as long as we're not making a scene and hiding in the shadow, he won't notice us and can't do anything to us," Shelly answered.
"Shelly is right, but there's still a possibility that he would notice existences that aren't belong to him living on this Earth. Thankfully, both Amaryllis and I can make ourselves nonexistent in his eyes, so there's nothing to be worried about, but we still need to be careful," Mykel pointed out.
"Since the major problem has been taken care of, it's time for us to guide our Little Mykel," Loki said as she looked at Mykel.
"I believe there's no need for us to directly interfere this time. Although I earsed his memories, I kept his subconscious that would give him ideas later on when he write the novel. He know everything about me and the story of the novel, so he will subconsciously write the same exact story like what I created," Mykel explained and emptied the cup of coffee.
Mykel believed that this time would be different from the previous ones they had experimented with. Little Mykel already knew everything and he had the same personality and character as him. The other thing that made him so confident was the fact he could redo it again if it failed.
He could bring Little Mykel's memories back, turn him back to his baby form and erase the memories of his life living as Mykel Alester. Although it was possible, he didn't want to experience it again, so he treated this chance as his only chance.
"Then what are we going to do now?" Beldathiel asked as she rested her head on the pillow that she put on the table.
"Watch our precious Mykel Alester grow," Mykel answered. "You all have seen my past, if things didn't go exactly like how I experienced in my past, we will turn back time and fix it," Mykel continued.
"Wait. If Little Mykel is Mykel, doesn't that makes you Loki's son and Nal's grandson?" Sven asked as he rubbed his chin. "And if he repeated what you did, doesn't that mean you slept and impregnated your own mo-" Before Sven could finish his sentence Lillith shoved a baguette into his mouth.
"Nothing comes out of your mouth is useful," Lillith said as she kept shoving the baguette deeper into his mouth. "Also that's not how it works you idiot since Loki isn't his mother in this world! I'll make sure you'll die from choking!" Lillith continued and pushed the baguette with both hands.
"What a funny couple," Aurea chuckled.
