Chapter 181: Blood Tick Farm.

By the time the hook is done with the host, most of the body mass of the host, including muscles and organs, would have become blood within this cyst.

The host would have become a shriveled husk by then. The cyst would be the main thing keeping them alive. The bloodsucking tick would then come over and suck on the cyst.

This ability is just a method that ensures efficient feeding for the tick, but Kelvin felt that it could go really well with his Life Steal ability. It is because of the ability of the tick to infect people with the hook.

Besides, the bloodsucking tick costs only 20 energy stones. It should be cheaper if not for the fact that the blood cyst can be processed into vitality pills to heal injuries.

That's the reason why they are selling a blood tick. The blood tick is not a servant material. It is not an intelligent animal. It is meant to be an animal raised in captivity for making money by transforming other living things into life-saving ingredients.

He thought that to himself, "It is the human farm again but easier to set up."

He can picture it. The blood ticks roam in a pen while living things are brought into the pen one after the other to be infected. Then the living things are taken out to be processed into drugs.

Any living thing will work, not just humans. So anyone that wants to establish a farm with blood ticks doesn't need to kidnap humans with regeneration abilities. Anything that walks will do.

After this, he looked for another ability to get. He saw one that interested him. It is a refining ability belonging to an ore-eating ant.

The ore-eating ant eats different types of ores and poops out the refined form of the ores. This poop is used to form the shell on its body and build its nest. But entrepreneurs can divert it into a profit-making business.

He was interested because it would go well with his Myriad Physique ability. If he fused the ore refining ability with it, he might be able to gain more forms to transform into.

But he didn't get the ability because he was sure to find a more reliable alternative himself. There is a shape-shifter that he has been eyeing that can shift their form into any inorganic material that they touch.

He said to Wrath, "Remind me to go looking for Gem."

Wratha asked, "Who is this Gem? He is some guy that can shape-shift into various things."

She said, "Oh. I see."

He doesn't think killing Gem will be difficult. In fact, he would have done it already if Gem was living in New London. But Gem lives far away, which means he must travel across the wilds to another city.

It is something that he has been putting off for quite a while. But now that he has the diamond skin ability, he can make the trip with confidence. He will go after Gem after he is done setting up his cabal.

After making that decision, he shifted his attention to human slaves. It is because he doesn't have enough energy stones to get something decent from the non-human section.

As he scrolled through the human section, he saw a lot of abilities that he wanted. The problem was deciding on which one he can take since his game points are running out.

He saw a human with an ability that could make him blend into the surroundings and turn invisible.

It is a beta physique class ability called Camouflage. He was interested in it because while he can emulate this ability to a certain extent by flattening himself against a wall and changing his pigmentation to match the walls, this only makes him very difficult to spot, not nearly invisible to the eyes.

His ability only works in low light and low visibility conditions. But this one can work in an open space under the bright sun. With it, he would gain more stealth, which would be useful for keeping his life safe.

He thought to himself, "Stealth in a dangerous foreign world will be a boon. But let me see what else is up for grabs."

Next, he saw the ability he was interested in last time that will make him capable of identifying the power rating of others. This will be useful in helping him identify threats and avoiding them.

This psychic class ability can also identify the first ability that other people have awakened, but only if he is aware of that ability and has seen it before.

Despite this problem, the ability is still very useful because with it, he will be able to identify dangerous people on the battlefield and stay away from them. So he is still interested in it and wants to get it.

But it also made him feel a sense of crisis. It confirmed his fears that it is only a matter of time before he too becomes exposed.

He didn't panic, though. He continued looking through the list of slaves to find ways to make himself stronger.

The third ability that interested him is called Overload. It is an alpha ability of the physique class that will allow him to make a move using all of his strength, stamina, and focus.

This move can be physical or mental, and it will be far above what he is capable of in a normal situation. With Overload, he can use all of his potential for a single attack.

Considering that he has a lot of potential stored within his Juggernaut's Armament, Overload becomes very tempting to him.

With it, he will be able to hit harder and move faster for a brief instant. But it will drain him of everything he is capable of for that instant.

That is the only and main problem with Overload. He will slump after the use of Overload. He will become so tired physically and mentally that he might not be able to move after it. He might even faint.
