Black Rebirth – Asta’s Journey in Soul Society

The moon hung high over Karakura Town, casting its pale glow across the quiet streets. The town looked peaceful on the surface, but for those attuned to the spiritual world, something felt off.

From the sky, two figures emerged, stepping onto a rooftop overlooking the city. One was a small, raven-haired woman in a black Shinigami uniform, her violet eyes scanning the streets below with sharp focus. The other was an Ash-haired young man, far more muscular and animated, his energy practically radiating off him in waves.

Rukia Kuchiki took a steady breath, composing herself. "This is Karakura Town. We'll be stationed here for a while to monitor the increasing Hollow activity."

Asta, standing beside her, crossed his arms and grinned. "So this is the human world, huh? Looks kinda boring."

Rukia shot him a look. "Don't underestimate it. There's something strange going on here, and we need to stay focused."

Asta laughed. "Relax! If Hollows show up, we just beat 'em up! Simple!"

Rukia sighed, shaking her head. "This isn't just about fighting. We need to find out why they're appearing so frequently."

Asta nodded, though she could tell he was more excited about the battles than the investigation. Still, she had to admit—his presence was oddly reassuring. Asta had grown stronger since joining the Eleventh Division, and it was clear he wasn't here just for fun.

Suddenly, a chilling presence rippled through the air.

Both Shinigami turned in unison, their instincts kicking in.

"That's a Hollow," Asta muttered, his grin widening. "Finally."

Rukia frowned, already moving. "Come on!"

The two of them vanished, leaping from rooftop to rooftop as their first battle in Karakura Town began.
