AM I A WIZARD?

Chapter 6: The Game Begins

I have been thinking to myself about what I should do in this world. In my previous life, I was a famous actor—smart, capable, and of course, handsome. I had many affairs with beautiful actresses and singers. Life was good. After some time, I got married to a beautiful and successful actress and had five children. My wife died when I was 80.

Although I loved my wife, to help some women succeed in their careers, I had to give them chances. It's not like I was cheating—while she was alive, I never touched another woman. Besides, she sacrificed her career and let me use her body as I pleased, so it was an equivalent exchange. But now that she is dead, the deal is off. I spent the next 20 years helping young women with their careers. Ah, I am such a gentleman. Each woman gave me pleasure and helped me live my remaining time peacefully.

But now, 11 years ago, I found myself in this Harry Potter world with a system, a house-elf, a home, and enough money to live peacefully. I don't know why I was given this chance. I tried to ask the system, but it is just a one-way gift mechanism that provides anything on my birthday. Other than that, it only offers inventory storage and the ability to check my status.

When I was able to speak, I asked Sebastian about myself, but he told me that he was hired by someone—whom he doesn't remember—to take care of me and the house.

I sighed and got out of bed. Today, my journey to Hogwarts is about to begin. The day this world will witness the rise of its king. The Wizard King. Yes, that's the title I want, but I don't want the responsibility. I just want the title so that the world knows there is someone who is not bound by laws or morals.

I opened the window and sat on the edge of my bed. Suddenly, five ravens flew inside. After circling around, they landed near me, presenting themselves in an orderly fashion. I looked at them with satisfaction. After a moment of silence, I said, "Report."

The raven in the middle spoke. "Master, all five teams—Fire, Water, Air, Lightning, and Earth—have deployed for their tasks as per your orders."

I smiled in satisfaction, proud of the secret information network I had created. I have deployed them everywhere—near influential people in the Muggle world to monitor their actions, around Hogwarts, in marketplaces like Diagon Alley, near almost every noble family, and, of course, around the Ministry. These ravens are just ordinary birds, but I provide them with a special diet to ensure their survival in any season. They are loyal to me because I am the only one who talks to them, and my ability makes them see me as one of their own.

After checking the gathered information, I found nothing particularly useful for now. It's not like I will take action for everything happening around the world. I created this network just to stay informed and to see if I can find something valuable.

A few days ago, I did come across something that disappointed me—Hermione Granger does not look like Emma Watson. I mean, she is a beauty in the making and quite cute, but that's it. I enjoyed Emma in my previous life, so even if Hermione is cute, she is already off my list.

However, the good news is that her mother, Victoria Granger, closely resembles the mature version of Emma Watson. That alone makes her a prime target. To secure my plans, I have already ensured that Mr. Granger becomes impotent by having Sebastian secretly give him a potion. I made that potion with the utmost care. I also assigned some ravens to watch Victoria in case she attempts to cheat, so I will know how to deal with her in the future. Now, all that's left is to slowly slither into her life.

There are a few more women I have my eyes on, but for them, I will need to spend some time at Hogwarts.

(General POV)

The station was bustling with students and parents rushing to board the Hogwarts Express.

Leonidas Morvaine stood out among the crowd. His red hair, neatly combed back, seemed to catch the sunlight, glowing like embers in a sea of ordinary hues. His black eyes, with a faint shimmer of green in their depths, gave an unsettling intensity to his gaze, as if he could see right through the people around him.

He wore a fitted black coat with silver trim, its sharp lines emphasizing his tall, lean frame. Beneath it, a deep red waistcoat paired perfectly with his dark trousers, and his polished black boots clicked softly against the stone platform as he walked. Over his shoulders hung a long, crimson scarf that trailed slightly behind him, giving him an almost regal air. Everything about his attire screamed elegance but not without a touch of danger—a style only someone like Leonidas could pull off effortlessly.

Amid the bustling station, Leonidas' sharp eyes found the Granger family. Mr. Granger was absent, as planned, courtesy of a fabricated medical emergency.

Victoria Granger stood out effortlessly, her features resembling a more mature version of Emma Watson—soft, symmetrical, and captivating. Her sharp brown eyes held an intelligent glint, while her neatly styled brown hair framed her face elegantly. Beside her, Hermione clutched her books nervously, her energy a sharp contrast to her mother's poise.

Smirking, Leonidas adjusted his coat cuffs and made his way toward them, ready to seize Victoria's undivided attention.

As he approached, the Grangers seemed to have found the way to Platform 9¾.

Hermione passed through the barrier without any resistance, but when Victoria tried, she collided with the wall—only those with magic could enter.

Leonidas, who was already close to them, instinctively caught Victoria from behind before she could fall backward.

(Main POV - Leonidas)

'What a perfect opportunity.'

I wrapped my hands around her waist and held her tightly from behind. Due to our height difference, I couldn't reach her neck, so this was the best I could do.

After a few moments, Victoria, who was holding her head in slight pain, turned to look at me—the boy who had helped her from falling. But for some reason, I was still hugging her tightly.

Victoria: "Child, you can let me go now. Thank you for helping me."

Hearing her words, I looked at her with concern before reluctantly releasing my grip.

"Ma'am, I saw what happened. It seems you are new to the magical world, right?" I said with a childlike smile, making full use of my youthful charm.

Victoria: "Yes. I was just trying to help my daughter get to the station, but I don't know what happened. She passed through the wall, but I got stuck here."

Leonidas: "You don't have to worry. Only those with magic can pass through the barrier. But don't worry, I'll go get your daughter and ask her to come back so you can say your goodbyes."

Victoria: "Thank you very much. I'm Victoria Granger. It's nice to meet you."

Instead of shaking her hand, I took it gently and kissed her knuckles before introducing myself. Victoria was surprised but only smiled at my actions.

"I will go and fetch your daughter. I would love to meet you again, Miss Granger."

Victoria: "Yes, her name is Hermione. And I also think we should meet again—you can be friends with my daughter."

'You will definitely see how I fuck my friend's mother on Christmas.'

I only smiled innocently and walked through the wall. After finding Hermione, I explained the situation and told her that I would wait for her here.

A few minutes later, Hermione returned, and we found an empty compartment on the train.
