All My Disciples Are Insane!

Chapter 3: War hunchback beast

"Welcome, players!"

He Yiming stood before the gathered crowd, his expression calm yet commanding.

"I am He Yiming, Sect Master of the Yan Huang Sect.

"Once, this sect stood at the peak of the cultivation world. But those days… are long gone. Now? We're barely scraping by."

He let out a small sigh before his gaze sharpened.

"But today, I vow to restore the Yan Huang Sect to its former glory!"

His voice rang out, steady and resolute.

"Are you willing to join me? Become my disciples, walk the path of cultivation, and together, we'll build the strongest sect in history!"

With a dramatic flick of his sleeve, he tossed out a contract.

The moment he did, massive translucent screens appeared before every player.

---

[Heaven-Defying Devil Immortal: Virtual Online Game Contract]

It was long. Like, obnoxiously long.

And the terms? Downright criminal.

All loot, treasures, and rare items? Belong to the sect. Players would be "rewarded" based on their contributions—basically, unpaid labor with extra steps.

Betraying the Sect Master? Forbidden.

Opposing the Sect Master? Forbidden.

Cuckolding the Sect Master? Immediate spontaneous combustion.

And just to really hammer in the bullshit, there were over a hundred clauses, each written in a way that would make even a lawyer cry.

"The hell?! Why is this contract so long?"

"Bro, I think I just scrolled for ten minutes and still haven't reached the end."

"Why does every violation end in explosions?"

"Don't ask. If you don't get it, it just means your vocabulary is lacking."

Most players didn't even pretend to read.

"Yeah, nah. Too much text."

Ding Hao, ID: Beef Noodles, barely glanced at the first page before his finger shot down to the 'Accept' button.

"Who the hell actually reads these? Just press OK and move on."

One by one, the players followed suit. In the blink of an eye, all 88 had officially signed their souls away—er, agreed to the contract.

Which meant…

[Mission Complete! Rating: S

Reward: Top-Grade Ascending Spirit Pill!]

[Top-Grade Ascending Spirit Pill: Instantly promotes user to the Spiritual Vein Realm with a stable foundation and firm cultivation base.]

He Yiming blinked. Then, his lips curled into a smirk.

He had already reached the tenth stage of the Body Forging Realm, the highest a mortal could go. But breaking through to the next realm required an expensive pill, and those things weren't cheap.

Now? The system had just handed him one of the best on the market.

No hesitation. He popped the pill.

Boom.

A powerful energy surged through his body, far stronger than anything he had felt before.

If the Body Forging Realm was like working out at the gym, then the Spiritual Vein Realm was unlocking magic powers.

Now, he could wield spiritual tools, use techniques, and even fly—at least for short distances.

As he reveled in his newfound strength, the players, naturally, were already causing problems.

Some tested their limits, sprinting toward the sect gates. Others tried poking He Yiming.

And then there was Beef Noodle.

The bastard reached out toward a very inappropriate place.

"I wonder if Sect Master He Yiming will squeak if I poke here…"

He Yiming froze.

His expression shifted instantly from dignified leader to what the actual fuck.

Luckily, thanks to the contract, he had absolute control over his disciples. With a single thought, he activated a restriction.

"Whoa! I can't move! Is this a cutscene?"

"Shh, let Brother Ming have his dramatic moment."

"Brother Ming? Dignity? Pfft, don't make me laugh."

Despite the chatter, the players quickly quieted down when a new system notification popped up.

[New Mission: Clear Out Nearby Demonic Beasts]

[Target: Kill 100 War Hunchback Beasts]

[Time Limit: 3 Days]

[Completion affects rewards. Higher rating = better loot!]

(Tip: Host can assign tasks to disciples. Missions can be split into smaller sub-tasks.)

He Yiming stared at the mission details.

Okay. Delegating tasks to the players? Great. Letting them do all the work? Even better.

But...

War Hunchback Beasts were in the Spirit Vein Realm.

He had just broken through himself. Now he was supposed to kill 100 of these things?

As for the players? They were all freshly spawned first-stage Body Forging newbies.

This wasn't a battle,it was a massacre waiting to happen.

Would they even last long enough to rage-quit?

Still, no choice. They had to try.

"Disciples!" He Yiming called out.

"Today, we're heading down the mountain to broaden your horizons!"

"Follow me!"

Without another word, he turned and strode toward the sect's staircase.

"Holy crap, new map?"

"Wait, does this mean… MONSTER HUNTING?!"

"Finally, I get to fight something!"

"Uh… I don't even have a weapon. How do I fight?"

"No clue. Just follow Brother Ming!"

Hyped out of their minds, the players rushed after He Yiming.

The base of the mountain was completely overgrown.

Weeds, trees, and thick brush covered the ground, making it clear that no one had set foot here in ages.

Then.

Rustling noise filled their ears, a nearby thicket started shaking.

"Yo… uh, guys? Why is that bush moving?"

"Probably just a tutorial mob. Should be easy."

"Yeah, right. Next thing you know, it's gonna be—"

Boom.

A giant creature crashed through the brush, its hulking form casting a shadow over the players.

Its scaly brown skin glistened under the sun. Four elephant-thick legs slammed against the ground, shaking the earth.

And its massive jaws, lined with rows of jagged teeth, opened hungrily.

It looked kind of like a horse,if a horse was designed by someone who absolutely hated humanity.

Silence filled the air as the beast stared down.

Then:

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT?!"

"NOPE. DELETE CHARACTER. I'M OUT."

"WHERE'S THE LOGOUT BUTTON?!"
