"What is all of this?" Kennedy had a strange look on his face when he asked this question.

After all, it was hard for him to understand what was happening in front of him.

Lin Fan just calmly said, "They're your assistants."

That caused an even stranger look to appear on Kennedy's face.

Only Lin Fan didn't really care what he thought as he said, "Go and work with them. Help me organize the things that they find into a report that will make it easier to follow up on."

There was a trace of complaint that was in Kennedy's eyes when he heard this, but he still went forward to do what Lin Fan asked of him.

But it certainly wasn't easy since the moment that he walked over, the others looked at him as if they were looking at a competitor. They looked at him as if they were afraid that he would steal the things that they had found so far.

So it didn't seem like Kennedy was about to get anything out of them.

That was until Lin Fan suddenly said, "He's the one that will check your work. Basically, your lives are in his hands."

A chill ran down the spines of all the researchers when they heard this.

However, there wasn't a single one of them that doubted the words that came out of Lin Fan's mouth.

They treated these words as law.

That was why it didn't take long for their attitude towards Kennedy to change.

They had been fully aggressive towards him before this since they thought that he was an enemy, but now that he was the one that held their lives in his hands…

"Mister Kennedy, please take a look at this."

"Mister Kennedy, this is what you have to see."

"Mister Kennedy, just ignore them and take a look at this."

There was a bitter smile that was on Kennedy's face when he saw this, but it didn't seem like he was overwhelmed by this. It even seemed like this was something that he was already familiar with.

Kennedy was someone who had become a captain of his own ship, so it could be said that he was already used to this kind of flattery from other people.

At the same time, it could be said that he was used to giving this kind of flattery.

This was the kind of office politics that had to be done to gain a meaningful position in any organization.

As such, Kennedy wasn't fazed by the flattery that they gave him.

It was just the enthusiasm that he had that he wasn't used to.

This was the enthusiasm that could only come when someone was on the brink of death after all.

Leaving that matter to him, Lin Fan went to deal with the other matters of this lab.

"The Yue Family?" Lin Fan asked the elder who was reporting to him.

The elder just gave a simple nod before taking out a token for Lin Fan to look at.

This token had a large 'Yue' character on it.

Lin Fan narrowed his eyes to look at this before saying, "Nothing else? Just this?"

The elder nodded again without a single word.

Taking this token, Lin Fan couldn't help shaking his head and giving a sigh.

He already knew that the families of this cultivation world would be like this, but the fact that all of them were this willing to betray anything that they were affiliated to just for power…

Well, he was getting a bit tired of all of this…

"Just hand it over to the Mu Empire government, let them take care of them." Lin Fan said with a sigh.

The elder was already expecting this, so he just gave a simple nod of agreement.

The next elder came to report on the things that they had seized from this place. It was an organized list based on all of the things that they found in the different labs and storage rooms.

It was just that even though there were things listed here, many of them were listed as unknown since they didn't know what most of these things actually were. These were things that came from a completely different world that they were used to, so they naturally didn't know what to call them.

But that didn't matter since it wasn't as if there was any use for these things.

Especially since they already knew what kind of things would be created from using these things.

This was not the kind of experiment that Lin Fan or anyone from the Love Sect supported.

So even if they brought it back…

But Lin Fan decided to bring all of these things back just in case.

There was no telling what they could use these things for. They might even be able to use these things to find a way to reverse the experiment that had been done on the spirit beasts.

Though there wasn't really that big of a chance that this would be possible.

There wasn't anyone that could understand this kind of stuff in the first place and even the researchers here wouldn't be that much help. After all, Lin Fan had already questioned a few of them and found that they only knew a few things about the experiment itself.

Even though they were the ones that did the research, they didn't actually take care of the main research. What they were responsible for was the auxiliary research that helped perfect the main research project.

The main research project was done by the director alone following the orders that came from the top.

That was what they all said, even the head researchers.

So in a way, this was a lab that received outsourced work.

They didn't actually do any of the meaningful work, they just did what assistant would do even though they had proper titles.

"In the first place, it didn't seem like he treated this place as a proper facility. It seemed that this was just a place to store the spirit beasts that he was done with and to get them to do some additional tests on them." Lin Fan said to himself as he looked at the summary that Kennedy had prepared.

Shaking his head, Lin Fan gave a sigh before going to the next page.

But the moment that he went to the next page, he immediately focused on the words that were written there.

It didn't take long for Lin Fan to say, "We're leaving, right now!"

The elders were all caught off guard when they heard this, but they came over to follow Lin Fan.

Only before Lin Fan could actually leave, he suddenly seemed to realize something and turned back around. Looking at the researchers that were all staring at him, he thought for a bit before saying to a few of the elders, "Actually, you guys stay here and watch over them. Make sure that every part of this lab is cleaned out and then send everything back to Dungeon City."

The elders raised one brow to look at Lin Fan, but they still nodded in response to this order.

Lin Fan didn't explain anything else as he waved at the other elders and said, "You guys come with me. We need to take care of this matter as soon as possible."

They all had confused looks on their faces, but they followed Lin Fan out of this lab.

Though Kennedy also seemed like he wanted to follow, Lin Fan stopped him.

Before leaving, Lin Fan said to Kennedy, "Get ready, you'll have a bunch of work coming to you soon."

Kennedy had a strange look on his face when he heard this, but he slowly nodded in agreement.

Though even if he didn't nod in agreement, it wasn't as if there was anything else that he could say.

Lin Fan didn't waste any time in leaving this place and the place that he was heading back to was Dungeon City.

"Send a message back and have all the elders gather. There's something that I need them to do."

"Is everyone in position?" Lin Fan asked the group that was in this room looking over the maps and talismans in front of them.

They didn't say anything at first as they continued what they were doing, but soon they all gave signals that everything had been prepared. After giving those signals, all of them turned back to look at Lin Fan as if they were waiting for something from him.

Lin Fan didn't give the order right away as he took a moment to gather himself.

This was something that they had been working on for three days straight and it was a very big operation.

So even if he was the one that had organized everything, it wasn't as if Lin Fan couldn't help feeling nervous.

When he gathered himself, he said, "Send them all in. I want to hit all of these places at once and catch them off guard. Make sure that they capture as many people as possible."

Once this order was given, everyone suddenly transmitted them through the talismans.

Even though Lin Fan couldn't actually see what was happening, he knew that there was something big happening all over the Mu Empire.

This was the raid that they had organized against the other lab locations that had been found in the lab that they raided previously.

These were a list of all the labs that were currently in the Mu Empire.

Lin Fan hoped that by rooting them all out, he would be able to catch that person that was behind all of this.
