Chapter 43: The Trap
Aryan watched me carefully as I spoke those final words at Raj Hotel. He thought I was closing the chapter, walking away without looking back. But little did he know—I was just beginning to write the next one.
I knew exactly what was happening. Aryan was a pawn in a game much bigger than he could comprehend. My enemy was pulling the strings, twisting his thoughts, poisoning his mind against me. But what they didn't realize was that I had already flipped the board. The real game was mine to play.
As I sipped my coffee, I made my decision. I was going to trap Aryan—make him mine before he even realized what was happening.
Step One: The Unfinished Business
Over the next few days, I made sure Aryan felt my presence, but not in an obvious way. A glance here, a brief touch there, a cryptic text at midnight—just enough to keep him restless.
Then, one evening, I called him.
"Aryan, we need to talk. Meet me at the old bookstore."
Confused but curious, he agreed. When he arrived, I was already there, flipping through an old poetry book.
"I thought we had nothing left to talk about," he said, arms crossed.
I looked up, smirking. "Then why did you come?"
He had no answer. And that was my first win.
Step Two: The Emotional Hook
I started feeding his doubts, making him question everything.
"You ever think about us, Aryan? About how things might have been different?" I asked one evening, my voice soft, distant.
He hesitated. "Sometimes."
I sighed, looking away. "I guess it doesn't matter now."
That was the moment. The hesitation in his voice, the flicker of uncertainty in his eyes—I had planted the seed.
Step Three: The Perfect Trap
The final step had to be grand. It had to be something that would leave him no choice but to be mine.
And I had the perfect plan.
A few days later, I called Aryan in a panicked voice. "I need you, Aryan. Please come quickly."
When he arrived, he found me at a dimly lit rooftop, tears glistening in my eyes. "What's wrong, Sonakshi?" he asked, concerned.
I took a deep breath. "I made a mistake… A huge one."
His brows furrowed. "What are you talking about?"
I looked up, my voice breaking. "I never stopped loving you, Aryan."
Silence.
He took a step back. "Sonakshi, what are you saying?"
I closed the distance between us. "I tried to move on. I really did. But I can't. I don't want to lose you again."
Aryan was caught between logic and emotion, between the past and the future. And I knew exactly which side I wanted him to choose.
Then came the final push.
A fake scandal. A leaked rumor. A situation so perfectly orchestrated that the only way to save both our reputations… was marriage.
And just like that, the trap was set. Aryan was mine.

"How's the plan Ro?" I
Rohan "Amazing"
Everything was according to the plan but the last step was actually very dangerous for me also. It doesn't went as the way I expected it.
