When a God of Destruction Was Reincarnated in Tensura:

Chapter 82: An Unexpected Visit

Back at the village, the day began like any other, with the usual bustling activity of the monsters hard at work constructing new buildings and training for future battles. Rimuru sat leisurely in his office, admiring the progress of his growing nation when a soldier burst into the room, bowing deeply.

"Lord Rimuru," the soldier said, panting slightly, "a group of Lizardmen has arrived at the gates seeking an audience. They say they're exiles."

Rimuru raised an eyebrow, already feeling a headache coming on. "Exiles, huh? Alright, send them in. Let's see what this is about."

Moments later, a group of Lizardmen entered the room. Their leader, a flamboyant-looking Lizardman with teal scales and a confident smirk, marched forward and bowed dramatically. His movements were so exaggerated that Shion, standing beside Rimuru, raised an eyebrow in disbelief.

"Lord Rimuru! I am Gabiru, the former prince of the Lizardmen!" he announced, puffing out his chest as though expecting applause. "I have been exiled from my homeland, but I have come here to pledge my undying loyalty to you! Together, we shall dominate this forest!"(Gabiru so cool).

Rimuru blinked, trying to process Gabiru's over-the-top personality. Is this guy for real?

Shion leaned over, whispering, "Should I throw him out, Rimuru-sama? He seems... annoying."

Rimuru shook his head, suppressing a laugh. "Let's hear him out first." He turned to Gabiru. "Alright, and what exactly do you bring to the table?"

Gabiru grinned confidently. "I bring my strength, my unparalleled leadership skills, and my elite warriors!" He gestured grandly to the group of Lizardmen behind him, who bowed in unison.(Gabiru is the best)

Before Rimuru could respond, another figure entered the room, walking with far more grace and composure. A female Lizardman, her scales shimmering like polished emeralds, approached. She bowed politely. "Lord Rimuru, I am the daughter of the Lizardmen Chieftain and sister to Gabiru. My father has sent me here to learn under your guidance and to assist in any way I can."

Rimuru's gaze shifted between the two siblings. Gabiru is a handful, but his sister seems competent. This could work out... maybe.

He sighed. "Alright, you're both welcome here. But Gabiru…" Rimuru's eyes narrowed. "Try not to embarrass me."

Gabiru saluted with exaggerated enthusiasm. "I won't let you down, Lord Rimuru!"

Shion muttered under her breath, "I give it two days."

Rimuru decided to formalize their entry by naming them and their group. He started with the sister and named her Souka, who glowed brightly as her evolution transformed her into a humanoid form. Her sleek armor and elegant appearance earned impressed murmurs from the others in the room.

Gabiru was doing his best to be renamed by Rimuru, Rimuru told him that he was already named there is no point. But because of the way he said he accidentally renamed Gabiru

To his surprise, Gabiru underwent a massive surge of energy, looking visibly more powerful—though no less annoying.

"Lord Rimuru!" Gabiru shouted, flexing his muscles. "I feel amazing! This must be a sign of your divine leadership!"

Rimuru sighed, waving him off. "Alright, alright. Just don't cause trouble. Souka, I'm sending you and your group to train under my generals. Make me proud."

Souka bowed deeply. "Of course, Lord Rimuru."

Later that day, while Rimuru was going over plans for expanding the village, Raphael's calm voice interrupted his thoughts.

Rimuru froze, his eyes widening. "Seriously?! You're saying I can finally free Veldora?"

<>

Rimuru's face lit up with excitement. "This is amazing! I've gotta head to the cave right now!"

Just as he was about to leave, another soldier rushed in. "Lord Rimuru! A group of Pegasus Knights is approaching the village. They appear to be an envoy!"

Rimuru's excitement turned to curiosity. "Pegasus Knights? That's not something you see every day. Alright, gather the generals and meet me at the village entrance."

At the outskirts of the village, the Pegasus Knights landed gracefully, their mounts shimmering with celestial beauty. Leading them was none other than King Gazel Dwargo, flanked by his elite guards. Rimuru stood with Benimaru, Shion, Diablo, and Ranga at his side.

"So," Gazel said as he dismounted, his sharp eyes scanning Rimuru. "You're the infamous slime who defeated the Orc Disaster."

Rimuru's eyebrow twitched. "It's Rimuru Tempest, thank you very much. And what brings the Dwarve king to my doorstep?"

Gazel's expression remained neutral. "I've come to see for myself what kind of leader you are. There are whispers that a new Demon Lord has risen in the forest. I wanted to confirm whether you're a threat—or an ally."

Benimaru stepped forward, his tone sharp. "Watch your tone when speaking to Rimuru-sama. You're in his land now."

Shion gripped her weapon tightly. "Should I teach him some manners, Rimuru-sama?"

Rimuru raised a hand, signaling them to stand down. "Relax, both of you. Let's hear him out."

Gazel's gaze hardened. "I mean no disrespect, but as a king, it's my duty to protect my people. I need to know if your intentions are good or if you're a danger to the world."

Rimuru frowned, the air around him growing heavier as he released a fraction of his Demon Lord aura. Gazel and his guards froze in place, sweat forming on their brows as the oppressive energy washed over them.

"You think you can just march into my village and judge me?" Rimuru said, his tone cold. "I'm not some weakling you can intimidate."

Raphael's voice echoed in Rimuru's mind.

Rimuru sighed, retracting his aura. "Fine. You're not here to fight, so I'll humor you. What do you want?"

Gazel straightened himself, regaining his composure. "A duel. With pure swordsmanship. I want to see if your strength is that of a tyrant—or a leader."

Rimuru smirked. "A duel, huh? You're an interesting guy, Gazel. Alright, I'll play along."

As the two prepared to face off, the tension in the air grew thick. The gathered monsters and soldiers watched with bated breath, eager to see how their leader would handle this unexpected challenge.
