Chapter 16: Chapter 16: Siege Plan
Ed/PR: well fine, you want me to change his name? you got it.
==================================================
Taking the fabric in his hands, he looked at his father. "Target?"
"Sloan"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ajentt had been shown the Loom of Fate, it was very similar to Hydra's Algorithm made by Zola, except its use and final results were different.
His father was once a top assassin of the Fraternity, so he might know some stuff. "Is the Fraternity connected to other organizations?" Ajentt ask.
"Any connections? What do you mean by that?"
"I mean, the Fraternity is an organization of assassins that acted by the order of the Loom of Fate, and you said that Sloan has changed.
Sloan won't easily change just because the Loom of Fate made him a target, he has his own desires.
So where does his interest come from? Who gave him all the kill orders he forged from the Loom? Who's giving him benefits for successful kills?
The Loom of Fate should have calculated all this, that's why it gaved the order to kill Sloan. So who is Sloan connected to?" Ajentt asked all this questions in hopes of getting a conclusion.
"That makes sense, in the old days, the Fraternity was usually tight on cash. Money used to come in irregularly, but a few years ago it all changed and cash began flowing in. The Fraternity doesn't target people for money, but for the sake of humanity. I had my doubts, but I never questioned it since it's not our role to doubt the Loom, but that was until I discovered Sloans name on a thrown fabric's loom" Carlos begins to doubt the origin of all the cash the Fraternity had begun receiving.
"So no intel on who they might be?" Ajentt asked.
"No, Sloan was in charge of everything, He reads the Loom and handles the funds of the Fraternity, all we do is receive our mission and execute it." Carlos says back.
"We need to look into this, we can't be left in the dark on who funds all these assassinations for Sloan.
I'm good with computers and even though it hasn't been long since I've become an assassin, I know my way in being undetected. So I will go ahead and look for Intel while you go ahead and prepare for our invasion." Ajentt gives a direction to their plan and what role they will play.
"My plan was to first take out all the assassins outside of the base, attacking them head-on is risky." Carlos doubts taking on such a risk.
Ajentt cracks his knuckles as he shows full confidence to Carlos. "Don't worry, Sloan is the backbone of this new Fraternity, we take him out and the whole organization will fall apart.
So just prepare your initial plan to siege the Textile Mill ahead of time." The current Fraternity are no longer like the old times, it's now desecrated and defiled by greed, their old mission had long been gone, and if Sloan were to die, money would no longer flow and the Fraternity would become decrepit and abandoned.
"It's late now, let's start tomorrow, anything you want to eat?" Carlos asked.
"Anything is fine, I'm not that picky with food, and you know how hard life was for me before." Ajentt just smiles and laughs at his old life, and knowing that Carlos knew exactly how his old life used to be.
Carlos left the house to get food to eat, while Ajentt stayed to make sure he didn't get seen.
Left alone in the house, he stayed in the work room and looked around at the weapons.
Looking at the many knives on the wall, he thought of making use of the skills he learned from the Butcher, so he chose among the knives on the wall and tested them, slashing and stabbing the air in very swift motions, performing moves that he trained from the data that Cortana sorted and had given.
In the end he chose two double edge daggers, one long and one short. Something he could conceal, use for quick attacks and defend, and has a balance build to throw at enemies.
With twin knives chosen and concealed, he thought of getting another pistol too, a dual knife wielder and dual pistol wielder looks and sounds cool, unfortunately there wasn't any pistol he could use, something that would pair great with his unique Imanishi 17.
Thinking of a great pair for his pistol, an image of Fox's custom .45 caliber SAFARI MATCHMASTER semi automatic pistol came to mind, unfortunately still in its owner's hands.
Carlos had come back along with their food. "Time to eat, I got us some Tacos and burritos down the street, thankfully they are still open."
Making his way down, they went to the kitchen to eat, "So uhm, I don't really feel comfortable calling you dad since you've been gone for the rest of my life, and I don't really know your actual name."
"It's fine, I know how disappointed you are with me, and I don't really deserve to be called your father, my name is Carlos, but you can continue to call me Cross if that's more comfortable, it is my Codename after all." Carlos just smiles at his son.
With so many things going on since they reunited, only now could they settle down.
"I've also become an official member of the Fraternity and became a bonafide assassin, I deserve a Codename myself." Ajentt smugly declared to his father.
"And what Codename would that be?"
Ajentt stood up and withdrew his pistol, raising it and looking at his father sideways he said, "Call me Bond, James Bond"
Carlos snickered until he couldn't hold it anymore and laughed, "That's a cool Codename… James or should I call you Mr. Bond, suits you perfectly since you have the pistol of Mr. X ey Mr. Bond?" Carlos laughed.
"It's good that it made you laugh, but I'm sticking with this. So call me James from now on, Ajentt was an ordinary accountant, I'm now an assassin called James Bond." Carlos just nodded his head at Ajentt's request, or well James request.
"By the way Cross, I've been very busy with all the training and stuff, and with the Fraternity constantly having eyes on me, I never really watched the news. Got any info on Stark Industries?"
"Stark Industries? Well, all I know is that Tony Stark got kicked out of the board of directors and that's it. Any reason for it?" Cross got curious on what James was playing at.
James smirks and decides to tell Cross. "I bought Stocks of their Industry during their lowest points, I'm expecting for it to bounce in a few weeks, and how much are the stocks? Well, thanks to the Fraternity, I own over sixty million dollars worth of stocks!"
"Can't believe you manage to convince them to loan you that much money, and now they have no way of getting that back from you unless they kill you." Cross felt proud of James on how he Conned Sloan.
With all business done, they got ready for bed and went for an early sleep.
Ajentt, now James laid down in his new room, with Anny jumping on the bed too and laying right next to him, James smiled before stroking Anny's back and telling her goodnight.
