Waiter from Nowhere

After doing charity for weeks. I decided to train even harder for the last three weeks before coming inside the dungeon.

I talked to the master about the plan I had. And he agrees. The master said that the other people who are with me going inside were suspicious and be aware of them.

We proceed to train twenty hours training and four hours of sleeping for one week. The second was even harder. Training was twenty two hours of training and two hours of sleep. The master attacked me even when I'm still sleeping to teach how to react to an ambush in sleep. The last week of training was hell. We didn't sleep at all. I didn't know at that time that it would be handy someday.

The news all over the country spread like a wild fire. They announced that we, the representatives were going in the dungeon. Lots of people go there to say farewell to us.all the representatives lined up. I saw a very familiar face.

"Hi Jay nice to see you again. Such a wonderful reunion" I looked at the direction of the voice I heard and I was shocked. It was Silver. I just stared at her for ten seconds and replied "What are you doing here?" She laughed and replied "It's obvious. I'm a representative too. I'm looking forward to living with you for five years". After she said that, Gary, the president of the association speaks.

"For those all who don't me I'm Gary. I'm the president of the association. I am the person in-charge in this expedition. Take a look for all the representatives here. You're looking at the people who will change the world in the future. These ten people will change our future".

Everybody is clapping for us. I even saw my friends,Aria,Grey, Matthew,my colleagues and my master.

And Gary says again "We will be looking forward to it and see you in five years. Good bye representatives" we walk on the gates of the dungeon.

I will describe the pathway of the dungeon. It's not special or like a maze but the surrounding of the pathway was all pitch black like you were looking at the abyss. It reminded me when I train and almost lose myself in the process.

We walked for about two hours and we sat down to rest. Baldwin says "We should get some rest we have a few hours before we can go inside the dungeon. I remember this when I first came here".

Baldwin added "We should introduce ourselves to bond. We will live for five years here so we should know each other"

"I am Baldwin. I'm the expected and experienced leader of this group who's next". Baldwin said

"I am Silver. I'm looking forward to this expedition" Silver said.

"I'm JR. Just don't die on me" JR said it with a bossy tone.

"I'm Winter". Winter said it with a shy tone.

"I'm Miguel. Nice to meet you all". Miguel said it with a cheerful tone.

"I'm Dory. I'm the secretary of Mr. Baldwin" Dory said it with a serious tone.

"I'm Lucas" Lucas said.

"I'm Lee. I'm from China but I lived here in the Philippines for twenty years". Lee said it with a fluent accent.

"I'm Angela. If you don't know me get a life" Angela said with pride in her voice.

"I'm Jay" I said and was interrupted by JR He said "You mean Zero? How can we have a non-gift user here? We have an important mission remember?".

Silver replied "Watch your mouth JR". "Or what?" JR replied. Baldwin interrupted and explained "Jay was so kind even the OSD wants him to come". JR stopped for picking a fight on me.

After thirty minutes of resting. We stand up and begin to walk again. We walk and walk and walk and walk.

After three hours and thirty minutes. We saw a light and Baldwin shouted "We are here!". Everyone runs up to the light. The light was so bright we closed our eyes and when we opened our eyes. We saw the scenery of our world in the past.

Green grass, lots of trees in the distance, high and green mountains, crystal clear water on the river. We are so happy that we ran up to the lake and dived there.

"This is refreshing like when I first got here" Baldwin said.

We were so happy that we were not exhausted walking for hours. We think that our energy was replenished.

After fifteen minutes of bathing in the river. Baldwin said we should go and JR asked "Where are we going? Should we enjoy our first day here?" Baldwin laughed and said "We were going to the town of Wolfman. It is one hour and a half of walking here. Jay I think you know someone in their" I replied "I think I know someone who is very important to their kingdom" I laughed while saying that.

JR becomes irritated by that "Zero was acting big shot huh? They like you because they want to devour you". After he said that someone speaks "Why would we harm our only human friend?". They all get alerted and when they see a wolfman they calm themselves.

"Wassup Jay! Long time no see! You look tough right now" Jacob said.

"Wassup Jacob! What are you doing here?" I replied.

"What do you mean by that? Of course we came here because it's your day of arrival here in the dungeon" Jacob said.

"Oh that's nice! You came here to eat us right? I replied.

"Oh yes we came here to get some little meat for ourselves" Jacob replied with a serious voice.

JR activates his fire element and shout "I told you Baldwin! They are not friends!"

After he said that Jacob and I laughed so hard that our stomach hurts.

"Look at this fool Jay! Did he not know the word "joke?" Jacob said it while laughing.

I replied to him while laughing "He has no sense of humor we should give him a break"

JR was mad at me but Baldwin interrupted again. "We should get our clothes. The prince of the wolfman blessed us with his presence. We should hurry and not waste his time".

After he said that we got our clothes and I whispered to Jacob "Why is he speaking that way when he is talking about you?" Jacob replied "I don't know man. I think he adapted our culture?". "I think you're a respectable person in your kingdom. Should I talk like that when we go there?" Jacob laughed and replied "You're still a funny man. Don't sweat on small stuff like that we should hurry because I blessed you with my presence". After he said that we laughed so hard again.

After that we rode a horse-like animal to their kingdom. We arrived in their kingdom for just thirty minutes.

In front of the gate. We saw some wolfman guarding in the gate. I talked to myself again "Like a dog guarding an apartment or house" and then laughed. Jacob sees me laugh and asks "What's funny Jay?" I replied "Nothing".

We heard a loud shout from the top of the gate. "Prince Jacob had arrived!" And the gates opened.

While the gate was opening, we heard clapping and shouting. and the gates opened wildly and we saw many male, female,young, old wolfman. Cheering for us.

"Don't ignore them Jay. Give them the best smile and a hand gesture. They're waiting for you". Jacob said.

We were passing through the crowd. I smiled and waved at them. I even saw a hand drawn picture of me and in the picture, I'm still ugly.

They were all cheerful and some of them said "Jay please look at this way", "Jay please eat these fruits that i picked up", "Jay you're still ugly to this day but your body was buff", "Jay have a drink with me I have the best liquor in town".

After I heard the word liquor. My head moves in instinct to the direction of the one who said and I saw a beautiful female wolfman. She said "Come visit the tavern later!". I gave her a thumbs up and she was so very happy.

After we passed through the crowd. I asked Jacob a question but he said "The tavern? Yeah put all of your expenses on my tab later". "How, How did you know that? Do you have some powers to read minds?" I replied. He just laughed.

I asked Jacob "What is that for?". "What do you mean by that? They're gathered to see the humored humans who show kindness to their prince". "It's not a big deal you know? I'm just doing what I love to do". I replied. He laughed again and said "For you it's not a big deal but for us it is a life changing experience". I remain silent but deep inside I'm happy that the thing I do loves to do is appreciated.

Fifteen minutes of riding a horse-like animal. I'm hearing a conversation between Baldwin and JR.

JR asked with an irritated tone"How can he do that? He cannot even use a gift?

Baldwin replied with a calm voice "Kindness. I advise you to have kindness on you JR"

JR gets irritated and goes to the front of us and says "I think we should settle this. How can a non gift user get treated by other species like a celebrity?".

We ignore him and get mad and shout "Let's have a duel! In this world the strong eats and the weak gets eaten".

Everybody stopped JR for fighting me. I talk to myself "He is right. I think I should take a look at the outcome that my master trained me for but I don't need to use my gift".

I said "He's right. In this world it's eat or be eaten. Lets duel. But I do have a condition in my mind. If I win don't bring that topic again and you'll be my servant for the rest of our days here".

JR laughed and said "Okay. I'm a man of my word. But what if you lose? What will you do?".

I replied "I'm backing down on being a representative".

JR agrees but the other disagree about this foolish bet.

Silver said "Jay stopped it. You know you can't use gifts right?".

Baldwin said "You too both stop it we should go to the castle where the king is"

Jacob said "You too, in front of the prince of this kingdom, talking about having a duel. In our races this is like a duel who will be the next successor of the throne. If you both accept the duel let's go to the courtyard of the castle. We have a place for you to duel".

After Jacob said that no one speaks a word and follow him. He is my friend. But for them. He is the prince of this kingdom. And we arrived at the courtyard.
