The discovery of the star was quickly put out of the minds of the one master and his five pets as they moved on and finally saw the outline of a ruin up ahead.

It was a collection of countless broken walls and ruins on a hillside, which one could determine at a glance, were definitely not traces left by Transcendent Beings, nor could they have formed naturally.

"Star, hurry!" Xu Ran urged excitedly.

The patterns on the stone brick indeed seemed valuable for reference.

Underneath the stone brick, there was a deep groove, within which lay a stone pillar.

From Xu Ran's position, he could only see the top and part of the side of the stone pillar, but even these glimpses were enough to shock him.

Because the material of this stone pillar was distinctly different from the surrounding rubble!

He stepped forward again and started to search around the top of the stone pillar.

Moments later, Xu Ran's expression flickered as he inserted his finger into a certain spot and applied a slight force.

With a crisp "click," the earth trembled slightly, accompanied by the sound of mechanisms operating from underneath. Under the watchful eyes of the master and his pets, the stone pillar slowly rose.

Perhaps the rarity of Earth attribute Transcendent Beings in the relics meant that few had probed underground, which could be why this repeatedly destroyed place still had a functioning mechanism.

Eventually, the trembling stopped, and Xu Ran and his pets did not hesitate to surround the newly risen stone pillar, standing three meters tall, observing it carefully.

At the top and bottom of the stone pillar were some exquisite bas-reliefs and patterns, but the middle section lacked such adornments; the smooth stone surface bore only six marks of varying depth and direction.

Unlike the claw marks left by Transcendent Beings on other stones, these marks looked more like weapon damage.
