Chapter 154: Teacher Fuma's Lesson (Part 2)
A true taijutsu ninja relies on their body as the most dependable weapon in combat.
The refined strength, speed, and resilience gained through rigorous physical training are the defining traits of taijutsu practitioners, forming the foundation of their abilities.
However, a mature taijutsu ninja must also master the art of combat. They need to understand the human body's limitations, knowing how to target weak joints and strike from angles that are hardest to defend.
While raw power is essential, technique is far from useless. In high-level battles, it remains an invaluable asset.
Most shinobi in the ninja world focus solely on attacking the body, stuck at the most basic level.
But for Fuma, who had studied Konoha's taijutsu, Kumogakure's combat arts, the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist, and the Iron Country's samurai techniques, the path of mastery was different.
With the title of [Taijutsu Master] under his belt, he was approaching the second stage of understanding: the ultimate application of force.
No matter the form—be it human, tailed beast, or otherworldly creature—anything composed of matter reveals its weak points when faced with complete mastery of force.
By exploiting these weak points, a mere ounce of strength can achieve the effect of tenfold or even greater force.
But mastering this skill is extraordinarily difficult.
Even after more than 20 years of training, Fuma had only scratched the surface.
For someone as durable as Kaguya Muzuki, however, this was a perfect opportunity to test his progress.
......
The excitement Muzuki felt after his evolution seemed to fade as quickly as his broken bones shattered.
He now stood cautiously, adopting a proper taijutsu stance, no longer lashing out wildly like a madman. His eyes still burned with fighting spirit, unwilling to admit defeat.
Fuma shook his head slightly at the sight.
"It seems the only way to conquer people like you is to utterly crush them with overwhelming power, skill, and strategy."
Fuma harbored some intention of recruiting the Kaguya Clan. As descendants of the Sage of Six Paths, they possessed tremendous potential.
After the annihilation of the Uzumaki Clan and the dissolution of the Senju Clan, whose bloodline had become severely diluted, the Kaguya Clan remained one of the last pure-blooded ninja clans with Sage heritage.
Not only could their unique bloodline powers be studied, but intermarriage might also reveal ancestral phenomena. Their value was undeniable.
Having already successfully subdued the Uchiha Clan, Fuma had developed a foolproof method to deal with stubborn, hot-headed individuals.
"Well then, brace yourself," Fuma said, his voice calm.
The moment his words fell, he vanished.
Muzuki scanned his surroundings nervously, unable to catch even the faintest trace of Fuma's movement.
"Over here."
The voice was eerily calm. Before Muzuki could react, Fuma appeared like a specter and shattered Muzuki's sternum with a single precise strike. A crisp crack echoed through the air.
"Now here."
This time, Muzuki's femur snapped audibly. Enraged, he sprouted countless spikes across his body, transforming himself into a defensive porcupine.
"Childish."
Fuma reappeared behind Muzuki. The spikes couldn't even scratch him as he effortlessly dismantled Muzuki's spine, vertebra by vertebra, leaving him limp on the ground.
"What kind of speed is this?!"
"Is this even an Uchiha anymore? If the Uchiha Clan had taijutsu like this, Madara wouldn't have lost to Hashirama!"
"Stop talking nonsense and help Lord Muzuki! He can't even fight back!"
The Kaguya Clan's members hesitated, their panic silenced as Fuma's gaze swept over them. Though their minds weren't the sharpest, the disparity in strength was glaringly obvious.
Rushing in would only turn them into cannon fodder. They wouldn't last a single move against Fuma, who clearly had no intention of killing Muzuki yet.
"Don't get cocky, Uchiha bastard!" Muzuki roared in defiance, unwilling to let the fight end.
The power of the Shikotsumyaku surged within him, rapidly reconnecting his broken bones. His body writhed unnaturally, as if housing a terrifying monster.
"Come at me! Show me your true strength!" Muzuki bellowed. "I, Kaguya Muzuki, am the head of the Kaguya Clan—a warrior who fights to the death! I don't need your pity!"
His blood-red bone armor thickened further, its surface darkened by the density of its structure, faintly tinged with black.
......
"Oh, this stance… Is this a warrior's final stand?"
"Sorry, but on this path, I'm the guide of the ninja world."
Fuma smiled faintly, flexed his back muscles, and charged straight at Kaguya Muzuki.
Muzuki, however, did not retreat. His left hand transformed into a blood-red bone spear, shaped like a drill. Drawing on every bit of chakra in his body, he focused all of it into a single, powerful strike aimed directly at Fuma!
*BOOM!*
The two clashed with an explosive force, the shockwave knocking over young Kaguya clan members in the distance.
As the smoke cleared from the battlefield, everyone was left stunned by the scene.
Fuma had caught Muzuki's strike with his left hand, while his right hand remained poised, ready to deliver a punch.
For the first time, Muzuki had managed to break through Fuma's defenses, his spear sinking deep into Fuma's palm.
But Fuma's punch never hit Muzuki directly. Instead, his fist brushed past Muzuki's ear, striking nothing but empty air.
However, the mere force of the wind from the punch was enough to tear through Muzuki's heavy bone armor, exposing vast areas of bloody flesh underneath.
It wasn't hard to imagine—if that punch had landed, Muzuki would have been nothing but a pile of scraps.
"You still want to drag this out?" Muzuki roared in frustration. "Uchiha bastard, gather your arrogance!"
"Once you're hit by the *Shikotsumyaku—Blood Bones*, you'll wait for death! You'll gradually be reduced to nothing, and no one can withstand this power!"
Muzuki yelled, his fury as a warrior igniting at the sight of Fuma holding back.
Such humiliation was unacceptable to him.
Fuma, on the other hand, calmly looked at the hand that had been pierced, slowly pulling it free from the bone spear. He sighed, speaking thoughtfully:
"The Uchiha bloodline grants its members the talent for genjutsu and ninjutsu, as well as the key to unlocking the power of the gods."
"The Senju bloodline grants its members boundless chakra and an inherent connection to the source of chakra itself."
"But the Kaguya clan is different. They possess the body of a sage, but their lifespan is short-lived, and they devote everything to the destructive power they wield, seeking only ultimate offensive strength."
"If we're talking about sheer destructive potential, I would call the Kaguya clan the strongest."
"But I can feel your life force draining away. You can't control this power."
Inside Fuma's hand, the chakra of the *Shikotsumyaku—Blood Bones* surged like a group of aggressive invaders, howling as they tried to destroy Fuma's cells—more vicious than Hanzo's poison by several times.
But unfortunately for Muzuki, Fuma's cells contained the power of the Elysium Box and the life force of blood qi, placing him on a "monster" level that Muzuki couldn't even begin to imagine.
Muzuki's eyes were fixed on Fuma's hand, expecting to see further decay, but the reality was completely different from his expectations.
The wound on Fuma's palm didn't spread. Instead, it visibly began to heal. The flesh around the wound stitched itself together, rapidly regenerating.
"Alright, this farce should be over now."
"I've already been very lenient with your clan. Now, let me show you my true power."
"From now on, it's either submission and enjoying my plans or resistance, where we all perish together. The choice is yours."
Fuma clasped his hands together, and a dark, wild energy erupted from his body. Thick black lines coiled around him, sending him into a ferocious state.
His towering form—nearly 100 meters tall—radiated a sense of overwhelming power, his wings like dark clouds, and his body was covered in blood-red, molten-like markings.
Fuma appeared like a descending demon, a sight that shook every member of the Kaguya clan to their core.
"Watch out… Don't die, you idiots."
Fuma's arm muscles bulged as dark smoke and blood qi gathered into his clenched fist, emitting a dangerously powerful aura.
With a mighty swing, Fuma slammed his fist into the ground!
*Boom! Boom! Boom!*
The entire plain fractured with an earth-shattering roar, deep, bottomless cracks racing across the land. Dust and debris flew into the air, blotting out the sky. It was as if a man-made earthquake had just occurred!
