Uchiha's Taijutsu Supreme

Chapter 149: Stop Embarrassing Yourself Here!

Land of Water~

Fuma carried Minato on his shoulders as they sped toward the Kaguya Clan's settlement. The master and apprentice duo flew through the air, chatting and laughing along the way.

"Fuma, based on the intel from Orochimaru-san, the Kaguya Clan seems quite similar to our Uchiha Clan," Minato said, his tone thoughtful.

"However, the Kaguya Clan is far more unhinged. It's surprising how a clan like that managed to survive the Warring States Period and endure through centuries of history without being wiped out."

Fuma glanced back at Minato with a hint of exasperation. While Minato's words criticized the Kaguya Clan, Fuma couldn't help but notice how easily they could apply to the Uchiha Clan as well.

Thinking of the Uchiha Clan's behavior in the original timeline, Fuma sighed and responded:

"The Warring States Period was a sanctuary for war-driven clans like the Kaguya. Even with alliances, the strength of a single clan's might was enough to ensure survival.

"However, after the First Hokage established the system of one nation, one village, these combat-oriented clans found themselves outmatched by the collective strength of the villages."

"If the Kaguya Clan continues their recklessness, their demise is inevitable—just like the Uzumaki Clan."

The Uzumaki Clan, once thriving due to its ties with the Leaf Village, had established its own nation, Uzushiogakure. They were perhaps the first village to merge the authority of a Daimyo and a Kage.

However, during the First Shinobi World War, various ninja factions launched a brutal invasion of Uzushiogakure, decimating the clan.

Hearing about the Uzumaki Clan's fate, Minato's expression stiffened momentarily before he forced a smile.

"The past is the past. There's no point dwelling on it. If the Kaguya Clan refuses to learn from history, then we'll be happy to 'help' them."

According to Orochimaru's intel, the Kaguya Clan occupied a peculiar position within the Mist Village.

Neither fully integrated nor entirely independent, they operated in a liminal state, reminiscent of a relic from the Warring States Period.

Originally one of the founding clans of the Mist Village, the Kaguya Clan held considerable influence and had a promising future.

However, their ambitions led to humiliation and failure when they attempted to seize the position of Mizukage following the deaths of the Second Mizukage and the Second Tsuchikage in battle.

In their fury, the Kaguya Clan withdrew from the Mist Village, reverting to the warlike ways of the Warring States Era.

They undertook missions independently, attacked nearby small nations, and pillaged resources with reckless abandon.

Their actions infuriated the Third Mizukage, but internal strife within the Mist Village left him powerless to address the renegade clan.

Eventually, in the original timeline, when Obito took control of the Mist Village, the Kaguya Clan made the ill-fated decision to attack the village.

Their entire clan was annihilated in retaliation, with only Kimimaro surviving the massacre.

The irony of the Kaguya Clan's rebellion lay in its motive: to prove their strength, they launched an unprovoked assault on their own village, leading to their destruction.

.........

As Fuma and Minato approached the settlement, a village surrounded by ominous white-bone walls came into view. Smoke from cooking fires curled into the air, adding to the eerie atmosphere.

"We've arrived," Fuma said, slowing his pace.

"Minato, you're always claiming that no Uchiha your age can match you. Since we're here to deal with the Kaguya Clan, why don't you handle this one? Show me what you've got, my talented student."

Minato grinned, his confidence evident as he twirled his Flying Thunder God kunai.

"Of course. Though I'm here to learn, I doubt anyone here can touch me. If they can, I might as well start my training over with you."

Fuma smirked. "Don't underestimate these ancient clans. Bloodline abilities often lead to unpredictable power surges. Stay sharp."

Minato nodded as they stepped closer to the village entrance. A burly, shirtless man with white hair emerged from the settlement, glaring at them with suspicion.

"Who are you? If you're here to hire the Kaguya Clan, hand over your payment first. Otherwise, get lost!"

Minato took a step forward, smiling politely. Without a word, he threw his Flying Thunder God kunai.

In an instant, he teleported to the kunai's location, slamming a Rasengan into the man's back. The spinning chakra orb crushed the man's spine, leaving him incapacitated.

Not stopping there, Minato swiftly drew a wind blade and severed the man's central nervous system, ensuring he couldn't use his clan's unique ability to manipulate his bones.

"Well, sir," Minato said, brushing off his hands, "my master and I are here to spar with the Kaguya Clan. That was just a friendly greeting."

"If this is the best you have to offer, I suggest you call for someone stronger. Don't embarrass yourselves any further."
