Chapter 332:Interlude [6]
Zipping my puffer jacket to protect myself from the cold, I strolled through the academy, passing by the envious gazes I was receiving.
Technically, you had to be in uniform, so wearing a puffer jacket or any non-school-issued one was not allowed, but...technically, I'm also a student council member!
The only people who could reprimand students for breaking the rules, besides teachers, were student council members.
The walk from the dorms to your respective class building was only around five minutes, so they would survive.
Shaking my head, I pushed open the glass doors of my building, immediately feeling the temperature increase tenfold.
Thankfully, the academy was turning the heaters inside to the max.
Though...I'm not too sure my parents would be happy if they saw it.
Arriving at my unfamiliar class building, I pushed open the sliding doors, expecting to be the first person there since I was somewhat early.
But, to my surprise, Professor Zia was already inside and sitting by her desk with a mountain of papers.
Hearing the door open, Professor Zia briefly glanced at me before returning her attention to the papers in front of her.
Since my desk was on the far right of the classroom, I had to pass by her desk to get there, so to make things slightly less awkward, I asked while passing her desk.
"What's on the agenda today?"
Not even bothering to look up, Professor Zia said while staring at the papers that were probably created due to my actions in the vault.
"Some friendly classroom sparring."
Well, there goes my plans of sleeping through the whole day!
Walking up the stairs to my seat, I internally cursed the world before testing my head on my desk.
This wasn't our first sparring session in the semester, so I wasn't nervous or scared but more fed up.
During these classroom sparring sessions, Professor Zia would take the whole class outside and lead us all the way to the massive coliseum.
And probably because of the sheer amount of powerhouses in our class, we had the whole coliseum to ourselves.
Usually, I would partner with Han and Jin in a king-of-the-court-like challenge, in which the two of us fought at a time while one rested.
However, instead of staying on if you won the fight, you would actually get to go rest and swap out the resting one.
We did this because Jin would always purposely lose so that he could rest and just watch us fight without lifting a figure.
Letting a smirk creep onto my face, I turned my head and stared out the window, but unlike the start of school during spring, there wasn't much to see.
All the previous vibrant cherry blossom trees were now bare with no colors and leaves to show.
Resting my head on my wrist, I put in my earphones before playing a song and closing my eyes, allowing myself to rest.
There would be no point in falling asleep now, so I just played the music to keep me up and entertain me until class finally started.
Within a few minutes, some notable students like Zach and Alya entered the classroom, and after that, the class started to fill up.
Finally, Han and Jin arrived, so I removed my earbuds and pretended to gaze out the window as they walked toward our desk.
Tapping my head for some reason, Jin curiously sat down to my right before curiously asking.
"What's for lunch today?"
Sitting on my left, Han stretched out his hands and replied.
"Oh yeah, I heard they're catering food today. The cafeteria staff are on vacation or something."
Instantly popping my head up from my desk, I alternated glances between the two and interrupted.
"Really!?"
In unison, Han and Jin both broke out into a smirk before replying
"Nope!"
"Nope!"

Slumping my head back down on the desk, I ignored the sounds of laughter from beside me.
Yeah, they'll see each other during the sparring session.
Of course, during the previous sparring sessions, I hadn't even gone close to all out, and even purposely was lost to Han and Jin sometimes, as nobody knew of my power.
However, the cat was out of the bag now due to my miraculous performance in the battle royale, so I didn't have much to hide.
Taking my head off revenge for a moment, I glanced to the right, where the main cast sat, and was surprised to see that everybody besides Liam was there.
*Beep~beep*
Then, as if to answer my question, as the bell rang, the sliding door suddenly slid open, revealing Liam's figure.
He didn't seem tired at all and just nodded at Professor Zia before making his way to his seat.
As Liam sat down in his seat, not bothering to talk with any of the main cast, Professor Zia subsequently stood up and began writing on the blackboard.
[Sparring Session]
At those words, the class split, as some students sighed in exhaustion while the others were already out of their seats and ready to leave the classroom.
As for Jin and Han?
They were part of the minority who weren't even paying attention as they simply stared at each other, trying to see who would laugh first.
Grabbing both of their shoulders, I got up from my seat and followed the other students in a neat line exiting the classroom.
...
...
...
Walking through the entrance of the coliseum, every other student and I began shivering as the massive open space in the middle of the coliseum came into view.
To avoid being scolded by Professor Zia, I had to leave my jacket in the classroom, so now I was just like everyone else.
All of us stood by the entrance to the arena, where the heaters were still active, as we were technically in the hallway of the coliseum, and awkwardly stared at the weapon racks that were a couple of meters away.
"I don't care what she says; I am NOT going!"
"She'll have to drag me out, I swear to god."
"Why do we have outside classroom on the worst damn days!?"
