Transmigrated as the CRAZY SECOND PRINCE

Prince called me and said, "what was the need for you to do all this now. Everything was going well, then why did you have to scare her?"

I told Prince while explaining, "It was necessary. The slave she came with it. He loves this girl and if we don't stop these two right now then maybe one day, she too might start loving him and if that happens that slave will kill the Count thus freeing her from this bondage forever. You know what this means, we will lose a pawn, an important one at that, and this loss of ours can benefit the protagonist because he is going to make a deal with her in the future. But now we are the ones she made a deal with and from our talks she must have realized that she cannot double cross us".

Prince took my words lightly and said, "yes, yes I know she signed a magic contract. Then why would she even bothering cheating you"

I smiled and replied to Prince's words, "Magic Contract, For how long will that be able to stop her from cheating? A person has a heart and even if she is a only half-human, she too has a heart and the day she falls in love with someone. Then she will also try to cheat me because no one in this whole world can be interested in spending their lives with someone they don't love. 1 year or 2 years would have been fine but she would have to spend her entire life with me. Which means she has to fall in love with me. But you don't have to worry. It will be my responsibility to make her fall in love with me."

Prince laughed at my words and said, "I knew you were like me. But you are the one who keeps denying my words".

I shook my head at Prince's words and said, "no I am not like you. If you were in my place, you would have killed the slave first making sure she had no one else but you to rely on, then you would force yourself on her ensuring she is bound to you even if that was against her will that's the type of man you are, you can never trust anyone but yourself. But I am different I told her that I don't like anyone coming between us, thus making it clear that I am not indifferent to her actions towards others. By telling her this, I showed her that I trust her. I told her that I didn't love her and left the possibility open that I might love her in the future. By telling her this I gave her hope.

I told her that she is on my side. That doesn't mean I will lie to her. By saying this I told her that I will always tell her the truth and nothing but the truth.

Apart from truth, love and trust, what else would a girl need?...and that's you and me are different".

The next morning Chris left for the desert.

Adriana reached her home in the darkness of night.

Adriana's POV,

When I reached home after my meeting with a man called Christopher it was still dark, there was no one around. I went to my bed and lay down pretending to be asleep. But there was a lot going on in my mind.

To tell you the truth, I had been very tired since morning. Early in the morning a servant gave me a note in which I was threatened that if I didn't meet someone by tonight then perhaps my secret might be exposed.

Initially when I got this note, I was contemplating chances of it being fake. There were instances, of some people using such petty tricks to extract money from nobles, but when I turned the note over, I saw something written in small letters 'transaction with Countess Dextrose'. As soon as I read it, I felt my world crumbling, There was only one question in my mind, who can do this?, who can know my secret?, is this Countess Dextrose work? But why? We were on the same boat then why would she do that? It just doesn't make sense,

But I knew one thing for sure, Whoever this person was, knew me very well and could pose a huge threat to me. So I thought I will have to meet him/her in person. Taking advantage of the darkness of the night, I reached the address marked in the note, hiding from everybody's eyes.

I took Casin with me. He may not be that powerful, but he was my slave. He would do anything for me and I knew that.

While taking him I thought about two things. Firstly, he will protect me if that person attacks me and secondly, if that person turns out to be even a little weak, then I can order him to kill that man.

I reached his room and as soon as I got him inside the room, I asked him a question. "Who are you, What do you know about me and why do you know?"

When I looked at his face, he was wearing a mask due to which I was not able to see him clearly. Nor was I able to recognize him.
