The next day was Saturday!

After getting up and washing up in the morning, Lin Tian took out his phone and browsed through the contacts list. His hand paused slightly over Bu Mengting's name, then continued moving down, eventually stopping on He Qianqian's name.

It had been a long time since he had last seen He Qianqian. The last time he said he would go see her, who knew an accident would occur. This time, Lin Tian planned to go find her.

His finger rested on He Qianqian's phone number, he thought for a moment, but Lin Tian still didn't make the call; he wanted to give He Qianqian a surprise.

With that thought, Lin Tian immediately opened an app on his phone. He remembered that he had previously installed a tracking app on He Qianqian's phone to see her location.

After launching the app and opening the map, a red dot started flashing onscreen.

After glancing at the red dot, Lin Tian quickly shifted his gaze and strode towards the airport's exit. As he walked, he muttered to himself, "If only my divination skills were adequate, I wouldn't have to do this. Really..."

Muttering to himself, he arrived outside the school and promptly hailed a taxi.

On the other hand, He Qianqian was just walking out of the school gate arm in arm with a female teacher.

With Lin Dan's arm linked in hers, He Qianqian turned her head and curiously asked, "I heard that a few days ago a really arrogant student joined your class?"

"Yeah, he's as pretentious as they come, acts like he's someone special," Lin Dan said with disdain.

"You kicked him out on his first day of class, and I heard he wants to get back at you! Are you okay?" He Qianqian asked with concern.

"I'm fine; I'm not afraid of him. What, does he think he can turn the sky upside down!" Lin Dan scoffed nonchalantly.

"Still, it's better to be cautious; some people are really twisted!" He Qianqian cautioned.

"Don't worry about it, let's go!" Lin Dan said indifferently.

He Qianqian and Lin Dan were headed to a small supermarket outside the school to buy something.

The two walked arm in arm for a while until they passed an alley entrance, when suddenly a white van sped up from behind and came to a sharp halt!

"Screech!" The sudden braking left two black tire marks on the white cement ground.

The sudden sound of brakes caused both He Qianqian and her companion to startle and turn around with shock on their faces.

As they turned, they saw six teenagers, around seventeen or eighteen years old, hurry out of the van.

The teens got out of the van and started shoving He Qianqian and Lin Dan towards the side alley.

"What's going on? What's going on?" Lin Dan shouted, trying to resist, but she was unable to fight back!

She was forcefully dragged into the alley, and He Qianqian was also swept along.

Once inside the alley, a young man with a ruffian look grabbed Lin Dan by the hair and slapped her across the face, "Slap!"

Following a loud smack, Lin Dan's left cheek immediately swelled up and reddened.

"You bitch, you dare to kick me out? Are you tired of living!" Zhong Chengcheng glared at Lin Dan with a cold look.

This student was the very one Lin Dan had kicked out of the classroom before!

"You little bastard, dare to hit me?" Lin Dan was stunned for a moment, then furiously lunged at Zhong Chengcheng.

Because Lin Dan moved so swiftly, Zhong Chengcheng's face was scratched by her, and soon he had five bloody marks on his face.

The searing pain on his face infuriated Zhong Chengcheng, who angrily kicked toward Lin Dan's stomach and bellowed, "Beat her up!"

Suddenly, four or five young men started kicking the fallen Lin Dan.

Seeing this scene, He Qianqian panicked, hastily crying out, "Stop hitting her, stop!"

He glanced at He Qianqian, his eyes twinkling with a strange glint.

Until now, he had only paid attention to Lin Dan and not to He Qianqian!

Seeing Zhong Chengcheng staring at her with a somewhat strange gaze, He Qianqian's heart jolted, and she quickly turned around to run.

He touched his swollen cheek in disbelief, seemingly unable to accept that He Qianqian dared to hit him!

After being stunned for a while, Zhong Chengcheng bellowed furiously, and slapped fiercely toward He Qianqian:

"You bitch!"

"Ah!" He Qianqian screamed.

"Hey!" Suddenly, a fierce shout erupted right beside Zhong Chengcheng's ear!

The sound was so loud, it made Zhong Chengcheng's ears ring, almost as if it were the roar of a lion.

The sudden loud noise made Zhong Chengcheng pause, his hand instinctively stopping in midair!
