Chapter 221: Akane pov {221}
Akane had spent around 5% of his Ce reserves in this match, which may not seem like much, but that was more curse energy than a special-grade curse.
She was far too wasteful in her use of cursed energy; she could feel her reserves replenishing by the time she trotted back to the house.
She needed more refined control, in the fight she was able to trick her opponent into thinking her Curse technique was only fire but that wasn't enough.
She had to resort to using one of her most powerful fire moves to win, like come on, did she have to use enough fire to utterly incinerate most sorcerers in an instant on that semi-special grade curse?
Truly was a waste of energy, she even had to use her super duper move, blue flames.
Really out here making her use flames as hot as 10,000°F, she looked at the sky, it was probably going to rain soon.
She had after all released a decently power fire, she didnt think her master would mind it.
She was a good girl after all.
"Let us out" The distorted voice of a bunch of women was heard saying.
Akane looked at the trapped cursed before slapping...They were being too loud.
Using her tiny paw, she proceeded to slap the curse until its head was no longer poking out of the cage.
"Be grateful that I did not devour you" Akane's voice rang inside the creature's head.
"I wonder how many treats Master is going to feed me for this" Akane said sounding hella proud of herself.
After a while, Akane eventually made her way back to the house, her footsteps were light and barely made any sound, it felt like she wasn't even there.
She cutely trotted up to the door, however as she reached the door, she saw a weird seal on it, it was like a do not enter sign.
She could tell that this was the seal that her master used when he needed to be alone.
She wondered what kind of thing her master was making inside the house, was he perhaps making more pills?
Was he making her better sweets?
Did he make a new farm for her to devour some curse?
She missed the taste of pixies against her fangs, she wanted some more.
Being a good little kitsune, she decided to sit down infront of the door and just waited for the seal to turn off, usually when that happened is when Keitaro was done doing whatever he was doing.
She was curious, her tails were wagging behind her as she waited.
However, she couldn't help but notice that the soundproof measure of the seal had been upgraded to the max.
'What kind of stuff requires such fine seals?' The Shikigami thought to herself.
However Akane was a good Kitsune, so she waited.
30 minutes later the seal was lifted.
Upon noticing that the girl made sure to gently nudge the door open, her eyes started to slowly adjust to the dim room where Shoko lay nestled in Keitaro's arms.
'Master mate fell asleep' Akane thought to herself.
'she is a bad sleeper, why is her hair so messy?' The Kitsune thought to herself as she looked at the messy look Shoko had on right now.
Keitaro who currently was super alert...due to something.... immediately noticed Akane approaching him.
She looked quite satisfied with herself if the look on her face was anything to go by.
She padded over to him
"Did you fight, Master?" she asked, her gaze settling curiously on him.
"What? No, why would you think that?" he replied, somewhat caught off guard by her question and also unwilling to tell his summon why he looked like this
Akane tilted her head to the side, her ears flickering as if she were trying to pay more attention to the scene. "There are claw marks on your back." She studied him with a curious look.
"Did someone attack you?"
Keitaro did not even try to think because he knew he had some sort of bond with Akane where she would be able to hear his thoughts under certain conditions and even if he had to give her permission to read them, he would much rather make a blunder in his current state of.... enlightenment....
yeah, this is what he was going to call it
Enlightenment....
How does he actually explain that he wasn't really in a fight.....oh he got it.
"..oh...it wasn't a fight" Great, what an amazing actor he was, he deserves an Oscar.
"And the mark here?" she asked with a twitch of her tail, innocently pointing out the faint trace of a bite.
He quickly changed the subject. "Never mind that. What did you bring with you?"
Yes, he was a genius, no need to talk about his wrestling session, let only talk about what she brought.
Akane looked quite happy, her eyes gleaming with light, she nodded her head before carefully nudging a small cage forward, inside the cage, Keitaro could see a sealed curse spirit inside. The curse seems to be trying everything to survive.
Apart from that he could see the soul of roughly 14 women.
He wasn't a betting man but he was willing to bet they were pissed, and this curse probably had more than one curse technique...
What a pain in his ass....though currently in his enlightenment state, he saw ways he could use this curse to further his research, however, he push those thoughts aside, and he would offer the curse a chance at redemption.
"A gift," she said, her tails swaying proudly. "It's still intact if you want to study it, but I doubt it'll be around much longer."
"This might be just the sort of thing I was looking for. And you handled it without burning down a forest—so thanks for that, too." He said with a wry smile....she had burned out multiple forests before.
Akane gave a pleased chirp, her tails flicking with pride. "Maybe I can get a treat for it?" she teased with an eager look in her eyes, hopeful that her efforts would be rewarded.
He chuckled, nodding. "I think I can arrange that."
She was a glutton, she needed for, and she desired food.
Akane wondered why a piece of her master's natural energy was inside the woman sleeping on his chest, she tossed it up to her master just filling her with natural energy to build up her resistance.
She was half-right in her thoughts...
