The World's most Overpowered Side-Character

Chapter 425: Arla Ascends.

At the notification of creation magic being used, Arla and everyone else watching began paying closer attention to Sol as he spun and roared, launching a pillar of light from his palm that quickly morphed into a dragon, clashing with the reaper and slamming it into the ground before the two entities began brawling, eating away at each other and growing smaller with every second that passed.

"I no longer have a chance, these forbidden techniques are the most powerful I have, without them I would have already..."

[Are you prepared for Ascension, Arla Amastacia?]

Alpha asked when the Elf brought out the window after ignoring it for two years. [Will you accept godhood and transcend all of your current limits?]

[An offer of promotion has appeared before you once more].

[Divinity: Accept/Decline]

"I accept- guh!"

Almost as if her ascension was rushed befoer she accepted the power being granted to her, Arla felt her mana vanish completely, and her core shatter within her.

The garden within her soul began reacting to the sudden absence by shooting her veins full of Sol's golden mana, but a mere second later, a new mana core appeared and with it; an uncontrollable surge of power unlike anything she had ever felt before.

Sol who had been approaching stopped, staring in shock, Jena and Alpha who were both commentating on the fight went silent, Ikaris and Drul, along with Xie and Yu, all went still with their mouths open.

"I thought this was an ascention to divine..." Ikaris stared at Arla when the elf began screaming from both pain and relief as her mana continued to surge. "What the hell...?"

Her skin peeled away, burning off her muscles and healing as she continued to heal herself, Sol abandoned his plan to attack and rushed before her, grabbing her hands and injecting more mana inside of her to help her bare the brunt ot her transformation.

"This is unprecedented, unbelievable, even I as the secondary System was not expecting this outcome; Alpha, what are your thoughts, this is your doing, right?" Jena asked.

"What's happening to her, this is gruesome, is this what Divinity ascension looks like? Look at the way her skin is tearing itself apart, her own power is killing her-"

"Quite the opposite," Jena answered the one person in the entire spectation that had found the power to speak. "She is Evolving beyond divinity, our Dear Arla is shooting for the stars!" Jena punped her fist and grabbed the mic.

"She is headed straight for the realm of a Primordial, the realm of the Vatui Queen herself, beyond all divinity, beyond all the gods, in one single leap, Arla will become one of the most powerful beings in the grand Collective! What an upset, to see this with my own eyes is an honour!!"

"No fucking way..." Dina began rubbing her arms again.

She knew where the stage was and where the Plane had been created, how far away it was, yet she could suddenly feel Arla's mana passing across them in waves, everyone in the realms of divinity and above could feel it. "H-holy shit."

"Superb," Ikaris smiled, resting her hand on Talia's head and releasing a humbling sigh. "I struggled to reach the Primordial reralm, to reach the peak of Primordial, and I almost died many times in the process of transcending into the lowest stage of Primordial Divinity, but this girl of thirty..."

"...She has surpassed all reason and expectation," Xie crossed his arms when the waves of mana began subsiding. "I have never seen anyone gain such an unbelievable leap in power relative to what they were before, not even the Sovereign himself."

"Even Sol went from Demigod, to Divinity and then in his fight withOrion became Primordial with the help of The Beginning, she ignored Divinity entirely and evolved into the being that tramples gods..." Renia bit her lips.

"With this, the Emporium has even more to fear from Master's allies." Grecia huffed. "I have not known Arla long enough to be as shocked or as proud as the rest of you are, but I understand this very well, how drastically the scales shift with newborn Primordial being; in Source, thousands of cultivators would ally against anybody who dares to attempt this kind of ascension."

"Arla, say something," Sol released her hands and backed off when her hair began glowing in the same sky blue that her eyes were when her had first met her, the antimagic was gone; purified by this transcendent power that defied logic. "How do you feel?" He asked.

"Amazing, Master," She chuckled, clenching and releasing her fist repeatedly while seeing the mana around her. "The world looks so different from what it was a mere moment ago, the mana, I can see it in waves, like oceans floating around without purpose, and you," She paused when her eyes rested on Sol.

"Master, You are radiant!"

"She is fine, with the pain averted, her mana has already begun settling," Ikaris released another breath.

"Should we continue?" Arla asked.

"There's no point," Sol chuckled. "If you attacked me as you were I'd have to knock you out."

"H-huh?" Arla flinched when she saw the truth in his expression before he suppressed all his mana and approached her again. "Did I do something wrong?"

"Arla, you are midway through the Primordial Realm."

"Oh..."

"What?"

"What?!" The elf snapped turning several times and looking at herself and her hair that was still brightly glowing. "Primordial!?"

"Alpha, that was reckless," Sol looked to his side and the system appeared, making this the first time the majority of Sol's collective had seen her, some hadn't even known that she had a voice until they heard her voice alongside Jena who was calling herself the secondary System.

"I found within her accumulated mana stored since her youth, when she was introduced to the divine tree her mana experienced explosive growth, the only option to keep her stable was to appropriate a realm she could suppress herself with," Alpa lowered her head to Sol apologetically.

"I know you are not fond of surprises, but I figured this one would make you happy, Master."

"Well," Sol scratched his head staring at Arla again. "I'll let it slide this time, I'm still too shocked to process this properly myself."

"Thank you, Master."

"So, I am not Divine, but Primordial instead?" Arla asked staring at herself again. "I did it."

"Hm?"

"Hehe," Arla chuckled, blitzing Sol and slapping his arm from the opposite side before he even turned to look at her. "I did it!" She continued grinning.

"Don't go celebrating just yet, you need to get rid of the excess energy and suppress yourself." Sol poked her forehead.

"Master, my other forbidden attacks would cause catastrophe if I used them now, I created them solely dependent on the mana I had, if I am truly Primordial then... the damage-"

"Don't worry about that," Sol smiled and closed his eyes, Assuming his Godslayer form in its entirety, with the two golden halos on his chest and back, as well as the slight changes in his physical appearance, then opening his palm with a smirk, casting a barrier all across the Plane in an instant. "I will keep it contained to the Plane. Go wild."

"Then, please..." Arla stood before him and began channeling the power she could feel surging within herself.

"Exile."

"Exile?" Alpha looked at Sol for a reaction, and indeed he was looking at the small bead of mana in the woman's hand, but more than that he seemed proud, his eyes were brimming with pride.

Arla caught the bead in a small mana orb on the tip of her finger and shot it towards the plane, leaving a singular streak of white and blue vanishing before them.

The Collective held their breaths watching as the orb crashed into the surface and exploded at the size of a regular grenade, leaving the bead in its wake.

"Give it a moment," Arla snuck closer to Sol and hid behind him while Alpha disappeared. "It was meant as a final resort, I had not innitially planned to use it because I do not have the means to protect myself from the force it summons-"

*Boom!!

Silencing her with a Jolt, [Exile] manifested in the form of a great Blue cuboid explosion and began rapidly eating away at the Plane, spannina the entirety of the surface in as little as ten seconds and then expanding towards them when the shape shattered and the mana inside of it began going wild.

"Impressive yet again," Sol smiled, clasping his fist and sealing the explosion to the sixe of the Plane when it began spilling to the walls of his barrier, it was only then that Arla realised how far away from the explosion they were.

[With this display of power, Lady Arla Amastacia has been designated a title]. Alpha announced.

[Rejoice in the birth and ascension of a goddess, marvel in the power that a primordial casually wields, the Plane measures A Hundred and Eighty Thousand lightyears across, that is the size of a large galaxy].

"For a bit of simplification, this is the equivalent of a Hundred Billion Stars Exploding simultaneously." Jena explained. "Witness the very first feat of the Goddess of Singularities."

"The Honourable, Arla Amastacia."
